TI was intrigued by the blurb on Goodreads as it peaked my interest regarding a human abducted by an alien and sold off as a slave on an alien world. The author did a great job building a world where Madison is taken by a species and sold on another world with the intention of her serving as slave.
Madison is sold on a planet where slaves either engage in household chores or as sex slaves. Humans are considered rare and especially a type called a resonant where the human's emotions and connection allows the person they are with to feel immense pleasure during sex. A resonant is in tune with others' feelings and heighten their experiences. Madison seems to be one of these rare resonants.
Jul sees Madison at an auction and he finds her alluring and purchases her. Jul has no need for her, but for some reason he had to have her. Madison, unable to communicate is terrified, but Jul doesn't want her to fear him. Madison is still able to feel compassion for others despite her situation and starts to feel an attraction to Jul. Ultimately the bond that develops between the two of them is more intense then either expected. The connection they develop is life altering for them both physically and mentally but places both of them in danger.
I really enjoyed the characters, the world development, but most of all the bond that developed between the two which I wished didn't end so soon.

Even thThe story begins with Evangeline left on her own to run a museum following the death of her parents and the incredible loneliness in her life. Even though the story starts off on a sad note it soon picks up.
Evangeline discovers a Greek statue one night when she comes back drunk after going out with her friend who has been trying to cheer her up. As she kisses the statue and wishes it was real, Dorien is somehow brought out of the frozen state he has endured for centuries after being cursed by the Oracle.
What happens next is one passion filled night and the next morning Evangeline wakes up with Dorien gone and with her coming to terms that she had a one-night stand. She can't remember where she met him and how they ended up in bed together but what she does remember is that he rocked her world.
The passion and devotion that Dorien felt for Evangeline was beautiful, but I found it strange that through out the book he would come and go and Evangeline would never question it. The next time she sees him, he is in her home and she doesn't seem concerned how he got in there. I just felt something was off because apparently she didn't remember anything about their meeting and in the weeks that go by she never ask questions about him such as what do you do for a living, where do you live, nothing. Just finding him sneaking into her home in the evenings to have some wild sex (now I wouldn't complain about that, but still it seems strange and off).
As the story progresses a past nemesis pops up set on destroying their relationship before it has a chance to really blossoming. The story ends on a cliffhanger that will have significant ramifications on Dorien and Evangeline's relationship.
Overall it was a fun, short read and Dorien was definitely a Greek god I would love to get my hands on, but it felt that there were a few pieces missing in the development in the relationship. I'm looking forward to reading the second book as I want to know what is going to happen next and to see more depth in the character developments....more
The title of this book is so appropriate and truly encompasses the depth of the emotions and the turmoil that Tsalrin and Miria encounter together. Now do not think that it was all heartache. The developing love between Tslarin and Miria, and Tslarin's growing trust in both feeling love for her and her love for him was beautiful and very moving at times. When these two get together they really burn up the pages.
What truly captivated me about this book was the world that the author created. A beautiful fantasy world that had me visualizing the scenes before me, not quite like Earth but similar. At times it felt as if I was in the middle of Games of Thrones or The Lord of the Rings. The way Tslarin and Miria were physically described I couldn't help not picture in my mind Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen (Mmmm Jason Momoa) and they way Miria interacted in the formality with the use of her language. Perhaps that was the other aspect of the book that made the reader feel lost in the world. The language was full of formality, passion and beauty that it felt as if it was from another time period of long ago.
The premise of the book focuses on Tslarin and Miria's determination to free themselves from their bonds of servitude that both are forced to obey. The struggles that both Tslarin and Miria endured while in bondage and their attempts to be together and to love each other freely had me screaming at certain points of the book "please give them a break!"
This was a wonderful book that had so much happening that it will appeal not only to paranormal romance fans but also fantasy and historical romance readers. The only things that bothered me were the unusual words that they writer used at times where I had to re-read a part to understand who was speaking or to understand the terms. I also would have liked to have seen the ending expanded upon more and felt it ended too abruptly and left me wanting more. This is not a negative but a positive as I wanted to see more of this beautiful couple. ...more

What probably made this book so interesting is I really didn't know what was going to happen at the end. I didn't know whether Jerrod was going to stay or go or if Sandra was going to follow him or not. I enjoyed that because it made the moments that they shared more intense. LOL when I mean intense I mean sexual marathons (Hmmm I wonder how many men really could go on and on like Jerrod did LOL).
Jerrod is transported from 1821 to 2011 when his carriage is struck by lightening and is found in the woods by Sandra out having a picnic and trying to relax and forget about her dark thoughts.
When she see him she can't believe her eyes. Not only is he dressed in some period costume, but is drop dead gorgeous and she can't help herself from appreciating how well-endowed he seems to be (LOL at least she is honest about where her eyes tended to linger).
She takes Jerrod back to her home where he finds her world strange and fascinating at the same time, but he knows in his heart he has to return to his time. The problem is they both feel a strong attraction to each other that they have never felt for anyone before. They end up finding themselves engaged in endless sexy times that are mind-blowing for both of them. LOL Jerrod seems to have a very high libido because the moment they were done he is ready to go again.
However, Jerrod knows that staying in 2011 he is a nobody, stuck to rely on Sandra for everything that goes completely against his upbringing and his status.
What sounds like from the pages of "Back to the Future" (this was actually mentioned in the book) they believe that if it was lightening that brought him here then lightening is probably the way to get back, but at what cost. Either way both will lose what each of them discovered, a love that they never had and will never have again.
Pick up a copy of this book you will definitely enjoy it and you will love the way Jerrod talks.

This book really surprised me on so many different levels. First of all I'm not into sci-fi romance stories but this one convinced me that I am missing out on some very good books out there.
This book not only had an incredibly HOT romance going on but a mystery plotline that keep me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next and who was involved in the murders and sabotage on the colony.
Where to begin with this review. The book starts off with Haylie arriving at the colony and immediately she starts feeling hot and bothered and is ready to have an orgasm just by being near the Briel ambassador Kamran. Now I love how the author describes this hunky alien describing him as a 7 foot Greek God hung like a stallion (LOL I'm not exaggerating she describes exactly how large he is. LOL yes I know I'm a perv). :)
Before they know it they are drawn to each other like moths to a flame due to the biological ways Briels find their mate and engage in some very intense lovemaking that has them trying to catch their breath. As time passes they find they can't keep their hands off each other and out of each others' mind literally. Due to their bond they can feel what the other is feeling and are able to communicate with each other telepathically. However, that bond has somehow allowed for an evil force to invade their dreams as well that are real and able to inflict deadly results.
There were several surprises in the book that gripped me and made me feel the pain and anguish that Haylie and Kamram were going through at times that made the book more appealing. Not only is it able to get you all hot and bothered, but allows you to develop an emotional connection to the characters and their plight.
I highly recommend this book to anyone you wants a hot, erotic romance that actually has a romance as well as an intriguing mystery to keep the reader on their toes. This is the first book in the Eternal Bond series and now I am hooked and plan to read the rest of the books in this series.
P.S. I LOVE the book cover SO HOT! Makes me want to know who is the guy? :)

I really enjoyed this book and how Beth refused to allow herself to be a man's pawn and decided to make the man a pawn himself. Instead of following her heart she is following her bodies needs and never allowed herself to go back to the same man twice, making a man beg for her. Never allowing herself to fall for a man so he could never break her heart and spirit again, this lifestyle works until she meets her match with Grey Sexton (LOL I love that name).
Grey Sexton is a sexy, successful and powerful entrepreneur who is in Philadelphia to obtain investors and while he is at one of his functions Beth zeros in on him to be her next conquest. What occurs next is one very hot and erotic carriage ride that has both of them at a loss of their senses and both feeling emotions that they have both buried. As they agree to meet one more time neither one of them is willing to let down their guard and accept the emotional connection that they have developed between each other.
As the two embark on a very hot and passionate relationship Grey is determined to make Beth his, but at what cost to her. Beth is determined to remain an independent woman and refuses to be a kept woman to be at the beck and call whenever Grey would be in town for business. With neither one willing to let go of their insecurities and allowing themselves to be vulnerable to each other the emotional upheaval is very touching.
This will definitely satisfy historical romance fans who want a little more erotica in their story and a female heroine who isn't going to go down without a fight for what she wants in life and in a man.

Sara encounters an alien captain of a ship that has crash landed on the colony and she feels an instant attraction to him. What develops is a whirlwind relationship that has both craving for each other, but Davin's personal demons has him holding back from truly giving himself completely to Sara.
I loved Davin as he is described as a sexy "alien Greek God", playful, charming, suave and oozes with animal magnetism. He is very alpha, very powerful and gives it his all in every sense of the word (some of the scenes with him and Sara were incredible hot)!
Sara is a kind-hearted soul who cares for everyone, but she realizes how lonely she truly is and how she wishes someone would love him.
What made this story so touching was the relationship build up and the emotional ups and downs that occurred in the relationship.
I really enjoyed this book and recommend to anyone who enjoys reading about a romance that deals with acceptance, self-discovery and the power of love to overcome heartaches, struggles and coming to terms with one's self.

It was so cute and the banter between Kennedy and Drake was so fun that I found myself smiling from ear to ear. This was a sweet romance where two friends end up seeing other in a completely different light.
Ok so Kennedy loves her career and relationships never interested her and she never really paid attention to guys in her life including her super, sexy neighbor Drake. Now they are friends and as such she is forced to ask him to pretend to be her fiance on her trip back home for week-long reunion celebrations. Soon these two start having feelings for each other as they engage with the antics with her parents and townspeople. They try to resist their urges for fears that it will change their friendship, but the sexual tension becomes too much.
Before you know it these two hook up and the emotional impact that occurs next is so sweet and tender that it will brighten your day and make you feel warm inside knowing something beautiful happened.
