I tried something new while picking up this book. I picked a random book based on its cover and title. I didn't even read the description till after I bought it. The description was interesting enough. But even if I didn't like the description I still couldn't return it.
I was a quarter through the book when I realized:
-This is a bind up -This series was actually written about ten years ago -There are about 37 books in the series -Each book by itself was about 199 pages
My reaction after finding that out.
"37 BOOKS ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?" I bet no one has actually made it to the whole series. It was boring as hell! I hated all the characters. Except Ed. It was so obvious but also so damn frustrating.
The first part in the book "Fearless" was ok. It wasn't amazing, or even good. But it was better than the second book. Gaia was actually a good character and I didn't completely hate Sam. It was still pretty damn slow. After I finished the Fearless and was relieved that there was more. Because If I had bought only Fearless and NOT the bindup edition, then Fearless would have sucked shit. Because it would have ended abruptly. If that makes sense...
The second part of the bindup edition was Sam . That was where I began to hate Gaia. The whole damn point of the second book in the series was just about Gaia trying to get into Sam's bed. Sure, Gaia, wasn't Fearless but she was pretty damn stupid.
The last book, Run was better than the last two but still sucked. It had more actions and suspense than the last two. But BLECH! I was so disappointed with the whole book.
I liked the point of a girl born without a fear gene, but then the rest of the story was pointless and crap. I expected more from this book because it was SOUNDED unique. I felt like Gaia did not fit the character description of a fearless girl. She just sounded like some lovestruck dumb teenager who only cares about sex.
Those 3 words were all I needed to take a crack at this book.

OH HOT DAMN!! *Fans myself*
"FOUR HOT BROTHERS? Im IN"
Those 3 words were all I needed to take a crack at this book.
PHEW. These boys are just too much to handle.
SINCE BECCA HAS CHRIS. I GOT DIBS ON GABRIEL!!
This book was just as I expected but better! Wait scratch that. I WAS DEFINITELY NOT EXPECTING THAT! In the 5 hours it took me to finish this book, not once did I flip to a dull page. Each page I flipped, each time I went deeper into the text, there was action, romance, and comedy at every turn. New secrets were unlocked within each page. I started to think to myself "who could I trust?". But come ON. FOUR FIVE SCORCHIN HOT MALE CHARACTERS? Brigid, are you trying to kill us? Do really want an army of swoony girls?
This book had it all! Swoon worthy characters, hilarious witty banters (mostly Gabriel ;)), hot romance, action packed scenes, and suspense! Brigid definitely took me by surprise. I had eexpected Hunter, I was almost laughinga t how obvious it was but then Brigid surprised all of us! Who would have suspected that her dad was the Guide? When I got to that part, my body froze and I just kept whispering "no" to myself. I was totally caught offgaurd by some other things too ;) I totally loved the switching POV. It was great to look at the world through Becca AND Chris's eyes. I totally love when we get to peek inside the male leads head. I love to see what he would be thinking around Becca. My heart truly ached for him. The two sides kept the perspective real and true.
Becca, even though we were lead to belive was powerless, was still an amazing heroine. She was definitely brave and kind, pretty, and could kickass just find on her own. I liked her a a protagonist. She was interesting to read about. Aiming a gun at her fathers face? Totally admireable. But her social life, and family life did lack. We barely heard about them. I didn't really like Quinn who seemed to crave attention. In my opinion she was just a waste of space, No offence. I love love love love LOOOOOVVEEEE all four of the brothers. Michael(earth) who was the adult and a bit of an outcast from the brothers. He was the oldest. Nick(air) who was the peacemaker in the group, and also twin brother to Gabriel(fire) who is the hilarious troublemaker who can crack a joke as well as a face :P. AND OFCOURSE, Chris(water) who is only 1 year younger than the twins. He is the quiet one but often has alot on his mind. My favourite I would say would be Chris, but since he is already so popular amoong teens who read this book, Im going with Gabriel. Hunter I disliked from the very moment. I knew something was off about him. My mind was set on hating him and not trusting him so it wasn't really a shcok when I find out who Hunter really was. I hated how becca kept pushing Chris away, but had welcomed Hunter without so much as a second thought. I still enjoyed his part in the book. Becca's situation was...interesting. It was nice to know she wasnt just a random teenager, and had a bit of a past.
The plot was well thoughtout and flowed perfectly together. It was complelling and enchating. I kept on reading and reading simply leaving my old world behind and falling into this one. It was like I was actually there.
I am usually not a big fan of Love triangles. I am disgusted by them. The only love triangle I only ever truly loved was Will, Jem, and Tessa from The Infernal Devices by cassandra clare. But in this case, it was well played. I didnt hate it as much because the female in the love triangle actually had her head screwed on straight. She didn't lead both guys on, one minute drooling and the next her hands all ove the next. She actually chose one, even if it may have the wrong decision.
MY ONLY PROBLEM was the authors writing. It was good adn all but not entirely captivating. Brigid was detailed enough, she didn't make us feel connected with the magic. She didn't describe how it felt and that was often confusing. I truly hope that changes in the next book.
REALLY EXCITED TO START ON THE NEXT BOOK. I NEED MORE OF THE MERRICKS

Touch was definitly surprising. I did not expect that. It was so much better than*some spoilers ahead*
Touch was definitly surprising. I did not expect that. It was so much better than I had expected. I have seen glimpses of this book in bookstores and even here on goodreads, yet I never even took the time to read the description. I just picked it up because of the sexy mofo on the cover Based on the cover, I thought it would be a werewolf setting. Yet, it was totally unique and creative. Jus Accardo is an amazing author. She created a whole new world on her own. She didn't include werewolves, vampires, faeries, or angels. She created something completely new and different. Bless her for that, because I think we all needed something new. Jus brought a whole new supernatural level. She has raised the bar. I am always impressed when people create there own world, more so than just writing your own story about someting that was already created...like vampires. Thats why I like the idea of the "sixes" so much. It captured my attention and I felt compelled to finish the book. I literally couldn't put it down (finished in 7 straight hours). I love the idea of superpowers but in a twisted way. I have always been a fan of superheroes and their magic. At some point I created my own superhero characters. The second I opened up the book it was like it swallowed me whole. I was hooked on Dez's snarky attidue and her desire to piss off her father. When Kale first showed up I just couldn't help keeping the grin off my face. He was just too innocent.
I liked Dez. She was interesting to read about. I just think she always ends up trusting the wrong person. Not just once, she as been betrayed by many thourghout the book. Her witty sarcastic comments made this book have its funny moments. I liked how she was so fearless and wasn't afraid to stand up for the people she cares about. I also liked how she had a secret of her own. For once you can find out some new secrets about the protagonist, even though we're inside her head. It was very surprising to ind out that she don't actually know everything about the lead character and even Dez can surprise us too. I liked her rebellious attitude. She truly fitted the story. She wasn't a damsel in distress. Some people have complained about how unrealistic it was for Dez to runaway with Kale eve though she barely knew him. But I thought it truly fitted what her character would do. She was never the type to follow rules anyways. She alread dislher fatehr,so running awake wasn't a surprise to me. especially after her father aimed a gun at her head. She was definitly a new and unique chracter, like the book, to have stumbled upon.
Kale was the most interesting part of the book. He was truly a mystery but fascinated me at the same time. I found him hilarious most of the time. He seemed so innnocent, and it was soo adorable (trust me though, he can kickass when he wants to). First time in the outside world but he seems to be doing fine. His romance with Dez was so different from the others. Their relationship seemed so vulnerable and fragile. It seemed so romantic and I loved it! I loved him! He was so sweet and I found it hilrious how clueless he was sometimes. Favourite quotes from Kale:
"I stayed with Dez last night. We took off our shirts." Kale unknowingly over-shared this to the ex-boyfriend. Perfect!
“He sat up straight, eyes wide, and touched the tip of his index finger to his cheek. "What was that?" I blushed. "A kiss." "That's what a kiss feels like?" "Well, technically. There are a lot of different types of—" "Show me." "Show you what?" "Show me some other kinds." "You're asking me to kiss you?"
Kale baby, I'll show every type of kiss there is if you let me
The plot was quick to the point and never had a dull moment. It was action packed and intense. I loved every minute of it. The book seemed to short. ONLY 251 PAGES? Thats the shortest YA novel I have ever read yet it was so packed with action, romance, thrill, and suspense. Only Jus can fit all that in 251 pages. It seemed like I couldn't get enough. I need the second book NOW!
The book for some reason reminded me of (not in a bad way) The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. The summoning is one of my favourite series. It kind of had the same idea of having a research centre where they keep supernatual people. I loved how you never knew who to trust throughout this whole book. I liked that i always had to watch out because Jus alwasy has tricks up her sleeves.
I loved every minute of Touch! Such an intruging book.
Im a bit frustrated right now because i spent over half-hour working on this review, then suddenly the computer shuts off and everything is erased. ItIm a bit frustrated right now because i spent over half-hour working on this review, then suddenly the computer shuts off and everything is erased. It was a good review too....Now that I've pulled myself together. I decided to make another review. This one is going to suck though, sorry 'bout that folks.
I have grown fond of The Mythos Academy series. I started the first book, looking for a simple distraction, but what I received was much more. I fell in love with the book. I finished it in 1 day, then right after I was done, I started on the second book and finished in less than a day too. I was that compelled towards the series. But that was a year ago. I must admit that The Mythos Academy is a great series, but it's not the type that tends to stick with you. After i finished the first two books, the first week was full of anxiety as I waited for the third book to come out. Then eventually I completely forgot about it. As I said before, it was a fun read, but it wasn't the type that made me wait years for the next book, still remembering the release date, still fantasizing on what will happen next, conjuring up stories of my own. The series The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments both by cassandra Clare was that type of book. Even as I finished Clockwork Angel, there was still a year till Clockwork Prince comes out. Yet, not once did I forgot about the book. I remembered every little detail like I had read it 100 times. It will forever be one of my favourite books.
As I said earlier, during The Mythos Academy series, I felt compelled by it, but then I forgot about because it wasn't the type of book to always stick on a persons mind. Have you ever thought why books like The Hunger Games, The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, and much more, are so popular? Why you see these books at the front of every bookstore? Because no matter how long ago you read them. You can't seem to forget them, because they were that good. That it why you don't see this series in bookstores. I mean trust me, I've searched everywhere. That's why I was stuck with an ebook version, which I hate. No one seemed to completely be affected by this book, which is why it didn't spread.
So when I stumbled upon this series yet again, I finally remembered the third book. I had realized it had already been released. Then as I started reading the first few pages I thought too myself "Whoa who are these people?" because I completely forgot everything! Literally. So I read the first book and second book alllllll over again.....then after I remembered everything and realized why I read this series in the first place, I moved on to the new installment at last!
NOW FOR THE ACTUAL REVIEW:
Jennifer Estep has done it again! Except it was even better! That's right folks you heard me! Twice the action, twice the romance, twice the mystery, AND TWICE THE VIC (not really. I was a bit disappointed Vic wasn't in this book as much as I would have liked.)
I love the characters Jennifer has conjured up. Gwen is such an amazing heroin and protagonist. She was brave, beautiful, caring, and smart. Not only that! But she can kick ass!!!! Who wouldn't love that about a heroin? In the beginning you may have thought Gwen was the sort of Damsel in distress type of character, but boy were we all wrong! She is definitely the opposite. She is fine handling things on her own. I also like that she can feel guilt because that way you can see that she truly a good hearted person. I, of course, loved Logan as always. I loved his charms, his skill, and even his crazy outbursts. What more can a girl want? Daphne was same old Daphne, and I loved her for it! I was a bit disappointed that all the people she cared about had ended leaving her in some way even if they did come back.
The story and plot was amazing. It was well paced, and compelling. Never once was I bored while reading this book. I was again caught off guard and surprised by the ending. Jennifer Estep had a lot of tricks up her sleeve and I doubt, she has none left ;)
BUT, and thats a big but btw, there is another reason why this book isnt well known. It is because it is not very unique. The powers and supernaturals are of course unique, but not the story. These books he Mortal Instruments, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The infernal Devices, The iron fey, The summoning. Those are all some of my favourite series, and not only mine since they all seem to be widely popular. Why is that? Because they are all unique! They all have a different story from each other, they all even include different supernaturals! Stories like these, that are unique and different tend to stick in your head. Because you find nothing like it.
"Something goes wrong, girl sent to boarding school, fins out she has powers, falls in love with the most popular boy in school, blah blah blah." See that storyline? It's used WAY too often. Don't tell me that a bunch of different series didn't pop in your head while reading that, cause I can think of atleast 5 different series EXACTLY like that. BUT, I must admit that I still love a good ol boarding school story. I don't know why but something about them fascinates me. Even though they are all used up, I like to see how each author can change it up in there own little way.
I am expecting a lot from the next book in this series ;)
I am searching for the right word to express my reaction after finishing this book.
HOLY! What just happened?
That's pretty much sums it up.

Love it love it love it love it love it love it love it! This book was full of surprises. I just can't. My mind is literally blown right now. This book is definitely a favorite. I love every character, especially Katia. She may be one of my favorite female leads. She was definitely strong and brave. She had her won secrets which surprised the hell out of me. I love when the protagonists have a secret of there own. We may be in there head but it's reassuring to know that, they too, have some secrets of there own.
This book was just WOW. As you can see I am a bit breathless.
FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK
It was slightly compelling but moved a bit slow. I liked it, but not enough o have my FULL attention. Nothing very interesting happened. As I was 100 pages into the book, I didn't hate it, but I never would have guessed I would have liked it so much. The last 50 pages changed my whole view on the book. Even thought I, at some point, thought the book was getting boring, the ending is definitely worth the wait. This book bumped from a 2.5 to a 4!! It would have probably been a 5 if it wasn't for the beginning. The beginning wasn't necessarily bad or boring, which is the main reason I kept on going, it was just preparing for something more exciting. It just took longer than I thought. The reason I kept going was because I knew something GOOD was coming up. I wasn't disappointed at all because I knew that this was planned. Even though I also thought that the beginning was just a waste. I now know it wasn't. That's what bonds wanted. To stall its audience for the big scene! And boy did it work. That was why I kept going. The beginning was ok. It just made us more anxious for the end.
THE SECOND HALF OF THE BOOK
OH HOT DAMN!
FUCKITY FUCK FUCK
Why don't I try a different approach? The ending was just amazing! It was such a rush of surprised. It definitely payed off of for the dull boring. I instantly knew I would love this book. KATIA'S SECRET DOWNRIGHT KILLED ME. There was a point in the book where I wondered if (view spoiler)[ she was a half-breed. After her sudden interest in the connection, it kept ringing in my head, but I dismissed it. (hide spoiler)] But to know that it was actually true! I dropped the book. I was super glad to find out Katia's secret before the end of the book. I don't think I could handle the long wait before finding out her secret. I completely love the ending. Based on the ending this book would have been a 5 star! It was full of suspense, action, and a revealing of secrets!
The authors writing was certainly compelling. She captured me in. If it weren't for her alluring writing style I would have abandoned this book for its weak start. The author has mad skills :D I have high hopes for the second book.
The characters were all amazing. Nikolai was FUCKING SEXY an awesome male lead. I was disappointed we didn't get as much steamy hot scenes of him and Katia, but I was also proud that Katia isn't one of those girls who throw themselves over any hot guys she sees. She played hard to gey and it was very amusing. I love how she didn't fall for him the minute she saw him. Even when they kissed! I loved her attitude and hilarious banters. Nikolai was awesome and how he reacted to Katie's secret earned him bonus points. He was strong, brave, and willing to protect the things he cares about.
The plot was a bit short and slow, but compelling either way. I loved everything about this book. It certainly wasn't flawless but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I will be starting the next book as soon as possible. I am craving more Nikolai.
I would have given this book a 5 and I'm very compelled to do so, but the beginning was still lacking.
4 out of 5 stars.
P.s if you are reading this book and find the beginning lacking, do not quit! Keep reading, the ending will be worth it.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more

HEHE YES FINALLY! I've been waiting to do one of these reviews! AHEM
Really bitch? Really?
Where the fuck does Abbi get these names?
I hate the fucking characters. I hate the fucking pace. I hate the fucking authors writing.
The book just plain Fucking SUCKED. It's a shame too. Cause that cover is gorgeous.
I don't know how to explain what went wrong. Basically everything went wrong. Ok well. Hmm. Where do I start...
Ok let's start with the fucking retarded Pagen! Lemme get this straight...so you're scared of soul that you just seen, so you go to DANK for comfort. You trust him and everything is alright just as long as he sleeps on your bed and watches you showering. Cause you can trust him, right? Because he is so gorgeous that he can't ever be evil. Ok I may be exaggerating.mBUT SERIOUSLY! Pagen is scared of a soul so she goes to an even scarier soul for comfort. She wreaks of desperation and she has a damn BOYFRIEND! On like the third day she starts like fucking making out with Dank and encouraging him even though she has a boyfriend. During the time she didn't even have the nerve to feel guilty! All she could think about was Dank . Like why would you lead Leif on like that? If you didn't like him just say so! If I were Kendra I would be pretty damn pissed too. I mean first she takes Leif from her and now Dank? And she alternates between them? BITCH?
WHAT IS THIS FUCKERY?
Makes you think what Abbi is trying to portray right? That's it's ok to cheat. I can't even begin to describe how much this book frustrated me. I didn't even finish it! I was more than halfway through and I couldn't take it anymore! I just abandoned it. It was like I died and gone to hell during those times. Also! Pagen is fucking frightened because a GIRL soul talked to her. but when Dank talked to her she wasn't frightened? NO just too horny. Right, teenagers huh? Wow. Abbi. Wow. It's all shits and giggles until the girl should comes around and she barely does anything by then Pagen starts fucking whining and crying and she begs for Dank to sleep with her. UGH up what kind of heroin is that? Like. I can't even. And the next day she acts like everything is fine with her and Leif. Um hello? You spend the night with the guy that your supposed boyfriend knows has a thing for you.
GAAHH the stupidity of some people!
And Dank. I'm going to try to get past the name issues cause he sounds like some type of metal. Or like a measurement... I would like two Danks of milk! Even the milk if more interesting than Dank. He was so predictable he was LAUGHABLE! Ok and he confesses his love for her on like the first fucking page (not really). He was arrogant and cocky af! Ok and then Abbi has the decency to make him say Kendra's dress is red. I ate the color red as much as I hate blondes. UM... What the hell is that supposed to mean? I'm not even blonde, yet I feel offended. So why the hell are you dating Kendra?
The only character I actually liked could stand was Leif he was sweet and kind. Until I heard he wasn't human.... Yeah I skipped ahead and read the last line of the book. I Still dont regret a thing.
The plot wasn't bad it was just the ingredients that sucked ass! such a shame too because I had such high expectation considering all the great reviews it's been getting. And that sexy cover.
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST BOOK JENNIFER ARMENTROUT HAS EVER WRITTEN. I am left speechless once again! Literally, I**spoiler alert**
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST BOOK JENNIFER ARMENTROUT HAS EVER WRITTEN. I am left speechless once again! Literally, I don't know what to say. I'm still surprised that I came this far onto the site, but still I am shocked. I finished the book only 10 minutes ago. My mind is all jumbled up as I'm trying to figure out what just happened. When I finished the book, I slowly closed the book (eyes wide, jaws dropped, and all that stuff), stared at the cover for what seemed like forever, and then I screamed in frustration. Literally screamed in frustration so much that my mom came out of the living room and started scolding me.
The reason I screamed was not because the book was bad, it was actually the opposite. I screamed so much because the ending was just...I can't even...it hurts! I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW OR MIGHT JUST MURDER SOMEBODY! This book is unbelievable amazing. Quickly is has become one of my favourite series with one of my favourite male leads. Daemon Black....UNF. I don't know how many times I've said this before but I was not expecting this! I was not expecting such a unique and amazing plot! I was not expecting to have any strong emotions throughout the book. I was not expecting to be as surprised and shocked while uncovering this book's secrets. Basically I just thought this book was going to suck so I did not bother picking it up.
If you read my other reviews, you'll notice that I do that a lot. I always avoid a certain book because I think it will probably suck just by reading the description. Then I somehow come across it and I am instantly drawn to it till the end of the book. I find out that it's totally amazing and then I run off to right a review on it saying how unexpected it was...DÉJÀ VU? I really need to start reading books I think will suck. I am the pickiest person when it comes to books, the description needs to be perfect for me to read it.
I have come across this series a couple of times and I never took the time to read it. The only reason I picked up this series was because I was totally enchanted with Jennifer's other series Convenant. I have read the first two books and I was pleased with Jennifer Armentrout's writing so I decided to dig deeper. When I realized Obsidian was by her book. I just couldn't resist. I know now that I made the right decision. Now We've all heard the strange similarities between Half Blood and Vampire academy and even though that did erk me, after the first few chapters the similarities vanished and I found myself loving the series! I thought that Armentrout was a great author but not really creative with the whole VA incident. Boy was I wrong! Jennifer's is nothing but creative and unique. With this series, I must say it is one of the most unique series ever. Like some authors who choose to write about vampires fairies werewolves, angels, even nephilim, those things have already been invented. BUT THE LUXEN? Jennifer created a whole new world on her own! Which I must admit is creative, unique, and pretty damn impressive. Any similarities between half blood and VA was purely coincidental. I still love both series.
I must admit that this series is better than Half Blood because it was more unique. Like I say, the best books are the unexpected ones. The plot was amazing and flowed perfectly together. Jennifer's has quickly become one of my favourite author and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I was a bit disappointed with Katy and how far she has drifted from Dee. Also that whole blake thing? I totally expected it. Will, almost but not quite. Dawson? FREAKING BLEW ME OUT OF MY OWN MIND! Jennifer sure has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. As I mentioned in my review on Obsidian, I love the fact the Katy loves to read YA books and reviews them just like we do because we can all connect with that. I found that little tiny detail very impressive. Even the littlest detail can throw the person off, or win them over completely. And in this case...I think you can guess which one I was.
I was really sad that Adam had died. Why couldn't it be Andrew? I still couldn't believe it and my heart ached for all the characters. Especially Dee's. Dee is amazing character and I hated the fact that Katy basically ignored her, even if she was trying to protect her she was still acting like a bitch. And Blake...well can you blame the guy? There was a part of me that felt sympathy towards him, but I wouldn't mind him dying :D
This book was so much better than the first, and that says a lot! It had much more action, DEFINITELY MORE ROMANCE, more suspense, and MORE DAEMON. Ladies, don't worry I feel your giddiness. Daemon was so sweet throughout the book and I wanted to slap Katy for refusing him every time!! I love Katy and all but sometimes she doesn't think! She does stupid things without confiding in Daemon and gets everyone killed....but that's all part of the plan, right Jennifer?
I think I'm going to name my pillow Daemon Black and use HIM as my body pillow ;)
I loved the book, I loved the billings girls as the mean, popular girls. They were nice and protective to Reed wIm going to keep this short and sweet.
I loved the book, I loved the billings girls as the mean, popular girls. They were nice and protective to Reed when they wanted to be (surprisingly). I must say I hated Thomas and I felt his 'love' for Reed wasn't believable. I think that's what Kate Brian was planning, though. I hated and I seriously mean, I HATED Reed. She was so stupid and careless. She would risk her own life just to be with friends who won't even care about her. She is just an embarrassment and I could in no way connect with her.
It was new surprising read. I enjoyed but not as much as I wanted too....more
OK. If you are still comparing VA to Pure, you reallty need to take a seat. I must admitt there were some similarities through-out Half-blood and Vamp OK. If you are still comparing VA to Pure, you reallty need to take a seat. I must admitt there were some similarities through-out Half-blood and Vampire Academy but I can surely say you won't have to worry about that with Pure. It was it's own creative story.
I love Jennifer's creativity and style of writing. You think you know where the story is headed, but then you suddenly change directions and you're left speechless. Yes. Jennifer has that affect on her readers. I only came across half-blood yesterday and I am already finshed with Pure and dreading the day when Deity is released. I was hooked that fast. Jennifer has captured me in, that Covenant isn't the only series of hers that I am interestet on reading (yes Im talking about Lux).
Pure was just as good as Half-blood except....
TWICE THE ACTION TWICE THE DRAMA TWICE THE SETH TWICE THE ROMANCE
Now I am and always will be team Aiden, but Seth truly captured me in Pure. When I first came across him in Half-blood, I instantly knew he was going to be something big. I truly found out more about Seth, and a small part of me hoped for him and Alex to hook up and boy was that delivered ;P I srill want Aiden for the win!!
Alex was even funner, funnier, and more reckless in Pure and that was why I enjoyed her as the protagonist. She is definitely one of my favourite heroins.
The story was not what I expected and honestly, I have no idea what to expect from Deity (whatever it is, tho, I knew Jennifer will not disappoint.) I am soo hooked that I have a countdown clock to when Deity will come out!
K, I read Pure as an ebook. and with that came Seths POV on a certain scene. I loved him and I started to piece things together and I now don't trust him. In Deity's description here on goodreads, it says one whho will do anything to portect her (im guessing Aiden) and one who has been lying to her (Im almost positive its Seth). If you guys read that, then you would understand why.
Now Im even more excited for Feity and the rest of the books from Jennifer's wicked series Covenant.
***** 5 stars!! ( This timesince it was more originall than Half-Blood was.)...more
