After the one man he trusted disappeared, it took Law Connor ten years to take a chance on another relationship. Trouble is, right about the time he's finally ready to let go of the past, the past stages a hostile takeover.
Back when they were teens, Styx was the boy with no memory. He and Law had each other's backs until he was forced to leave to keep Law safe. Now a CIA agent, he's finally discovered who he is, and why he's a hunted man.
Detective Paulo McMannus has almost succeeded in helping Law forget his lost love when Styx comes plowing back into their lives. No way is Paulo giving up his lover without a fight.
Suddenly Law finds himself on the run with Styx, the man who can still bring him to his knees...and with Paulo, the man who brought him back to life. The worst part? He can't choose between them. And it's getting harder to remember why he should.
Warning: Contains rough language, rougher sex and warriors who fall hard for one another.(less)
This has to be my most favorite mm book of all time! I actually read it twice and it was just as awesome the second time! Sexy ass L.C. Aka Law is delicious put in the persistent and fuckalicious Paulo and the ultimate bad boy Styx and you get perfection! I never woulda thought that a triad of relationship of men would work but....what do ya know, it's explosive!
Since he was a teenager, Law has been in love with Styx and he just can't get the man out of his head. Spending his days trying in vain to get over him and never sleeping with the same man twice. In comes the persistent and sexy cop Paulo....takes one look at Law and he knows he must have him. Law can't get Paulo out of his mind for some reason and it's got him spooked! Spending time with Paulo sorta diminishes his constant swooning over the love of his life that had abandoned him. Unbeknownst to him, Styx is back in the picture, past and future collide and it has the potential to be delicious......
Styx had no recollection of his life before he was 16. After falling in love with Law when he was saved as a teen, all seemed to be perfect. Unfortunately that wasn't in the cards for them. Finding out that his bigoted, assassin father wants him in the family business, Styx must comply to save the love of his life. Now years later of undercover work with the CIA he's trying to take down his father once and for all. He has to get to Law immediately, his father has a hit on Law and himself. Although this mission is about saving Law, it my be his last chance to reconcile with his love.
Like I said....this book was awesome. Law, Styx and Paulo together is explosive! This is a must read...that's all I gotta say! BEST MM BOOK EVA! This whole series is fanfuckingtastic!!(less)

Blurb: For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.
Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source – a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes...and none of them will ever be the same.
My Review: I greatly enjoyed this book, but I thought Kiera and Kellan were completely selfish....really all of them were to a certain extent! Kiera was too dependent on Denny. I understand being in love and your significant other and them being your world but, she really needed to get a fucking life. When Denny receives an opportunity to better his career he has to leave Kiera behind....with the sexy rock God Kellan Kyle. Kiera is devastated...like fall into a deep sea of despair....it was ridiculous! She had a job at the bar(where Kellan plays) and is a full time student, she had plenty to keep her busy but what does this dumbass do?? Fucks her boyfriends best friend because he took a job in another state. I get why she was pissed....especially since he takes it without even consulting her but she would have gotten over it. So this is where the train wreck that is Kiera and Kellan begin!
Don't get me wrong. Kiera and Kellan really do fall in love with each other....I believe it started to develop in Kellan's case before Denny even left the state but Kiera should have told Denny it was too late when he quit his job to come back to her. Yes! He drops everything, quits his dream job, comes home to her and after all of that....she still continues to see Kellan! It was just bad decision after bad decision. From Kellan treating Kiera like shit cuz she went back to Denny. Then making up and Kiera continually seeing Kellan behind Denny's back under the "illusion" that their relationship is innocent...which is ridiculous! It was just crazy!
"....and he groaned as our bodies pressed together again. "Stop it, Kiera," he snarled. "I need you. let me doi this. I can make you forget him. I can make you forget you."
I shuddered knowing he was exactly right."
It was apparent that Kiera was no longer in love with Denny. She was afraid of change and terrified of what life would be like with Kellan. Which is understandable since she has to deal with groupies all over her man constantly. But stringing them both along was just selfish on her part. Poor Kellan was in love with her and taking whatever scraps he could get from Kiera and poor Denny, after quitting his job, got stuck working for a complete ass and is completely miserable! Knowing all of this, the bitch still can't make a decision until its too late! In all honesty, I don't think she deserved either one of those guys!
Aside from the atrocious love triangle are a cast of characters that I just fell in love with. The D-Bags...local rock band with a lead singer to die for. Drop-dead gorgeous with intense eyes, just fucked hair, an alluring voice and a fabulous body....Kellan is every girls fantasy. Griffin...lead guitarist and a complete rake! He's a complete asshole and screws anything with legs....you just love to hate him. Evan and Matt crept their way into my heart as well along with the crazy groupies and the cougar bartender.
All in all, I loved it! Losts of heartbreak and betrayal, hot sex and rock n roll! My kinda party! To me this story is a prime example of what not to do around a hot rock God when you're vulnerable! Tequila shots with said rock God after your boyfriend fucks up...very ill advised! If you loved Sinners on Tour then you would love this is well!(less)

The bad things we face are tests created to separate the strong from the weak. Once you've found your place--as the savage lion or the tranquil lamb--it's up to you to take the next step, to decide what comes after. Even if it means destroying everything in your path on the road to deliverance.
How is it possible that this series can get better?? With a heroine like Rhiannon Murphy it's inevitable! Since she changed the future in Renfield Syndrome, all is not well in Rhia's world. After Disco's betrayal of her trust and the wild night of passion she shared with Paine still fresh in her mind, Rhiannon must face some hefty consequences. Disco is looking for redemption, his maker is coming to town to force Rhiannon to hand over Sucker(the demon killing blade). Now Rhiannon is beginning to understand that Disco and Paine have sheltered her away from the more dangerous aspects of being in a vampire family.
Its a race against time and if she doesn't hand over Sucker they are all in for a world of hurt! Marius is not one to be trifled with and neither is they're Demon maker Revenald. She'll soon learn that crossing him will assign her a fate worse than death. And to top it all off, she's made a pact with fallen angel Marigold Vesta. She must restore her to power or Rhiannon will serve as her host.
Rhiannon's Law #28: If you're going to fuck up, be sure to fuck up good and proper. Nothing makes failure acceptable, so you might as well make your misery count.
Basically it's a catch 22. She needs Sucker for protection against her enemies and if she gives it up, she's as good as dead. And if she doesn't give it up to her Master, she'll wish she was dead. Her love life isn't all roses either. Paine is in love with her. Disco wants her back and feels like shit for betraying her the way he did and Rhiannon just can't seem to find it in her heart to forgive him even though she really wants to. But when the time finally comes, will it be too late? And more importantly; Is this Ripple Effect business real....it sure seems like it.
All in all, this was a fantastic addition to the series! It still had its funny flair that I fell in love with and its dark and twisted suspense.
"I've been watching over you."
"Where I'm from, it's the same thing. Stalking isn't cool unless you're an Edward."
The Demons of this world are really some sick bastards that actually gave me nightmares. This series really does have everything that I love; dark humor, steamy sex, betrayal of the worst kind, a heroine I can relate to and can kick major fucking ass! It's definitely one of the best Urban Fantasy series out there. I really hope people stop pirating her work so she can continue this series. It really is an awesome urban fantasy tale thats a love story at heart.
Love didn't come with a guarantee. That's what made it so special, so cherished--so rare. You believed in the truth of your heart, even at its worst, because you had no other choice.(less)

Although it was tough to read at times...because Terrible was treating Chess like shit..she fecking deserved it. She really made some fuckedup choices which resulted in her paying dearly for them. (view spoiler)[Thank God they worked it out!! (hide spoiler)] Somewhat...theres more healing to be done so-to-speak. The sex scenes between Chess and Terrible where hot as hell!!!
Now....without further adieu.... I would like to share my favorite moment of this book:
"...sneaking off into the bathroom with some rigmutton cunt, leaving me on my alones in the bar, and other men talking to me and saying i got me a date there and he fucking some whore while everyone outside the bathroom hearing them."
That whole scene in the car was hilarious!! This series has become one of my all time favorites. I was sucked in from the beginning and hung on to each word like a lifeboat;) Imaptiently waiting the next one...loved it...fecking loved it!!

Its like being sucked in to a whole new world thats dark and scary and full of the unknown. I didnt think I would like a book about the protaganist being an addict with no dreams of recovery....but it worked and I wouldnt have it any other way! One of the sweetest moments in literary history:
"I figure you really wanted me you'd say. Like now, maybe, if you dig. I'll fuckin carry you down your place on a run, you tell me aye, get you on your back afore the next word comes out your mouth. But you oughta have yourself certain, causen I ain't lookin for charity, an I ain't lettin you go after. Once...once ain't enough for me, dig?"
I really thought she was learning her lesson and admitting to herself that she really wanted to be with him....Especially when Terrible came to her rescue at the Pyles'.(I must say that her withdrawal was the most powerful scenes Iv ever read.) Then this idiot was to damn scared to take the fecking leap when he basically confessed his love to her...I was soooo disappointed in Chess at that moment! She really fucked herself over with this love triangle she had going on! And it was so sad when Terrible busted her...at the same time....Im glad her dumb ass got caught. She really pissed me off with that one. She knew how Terrible felt about her and she went ahead and fucked Lex anyway! She shouldnt even been in that graveyard with him in the first place.
"Two nights past. He say two nights past, aye? Two nights---you seen him? That night you seen him, after I--you went from--"
Then to top it all off (view spoiler)[ I thought Terrible was dead! (hide spoiler)]Thank God he wasnt. I swear I was about to be real Feckin Pissed and loose all hope in UF!! That said....this series is one wild fecking ride!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>(less)

All I can say is WOW!! What a great series!! This was my first series predominately about shifters and I loved it! The love triangle between Marc/Faythe/Jace was something else. What annoyed me in this series was the fact that she could not make up her feckin' mind! She knew she couldn't live without Marc. It was like Vic told her: "Did you even try to not love Jace?". NO!!
I know you can't help how you feel but her love for Jace was no where near as strong as it was for Marc, if you ask me! But then it wouldn't have been so got-dang entertaining! I really felt bad for Marc...Faythe just handed him his balls throughout the the entire series! Well except when he dumped her...which she deserved BTW! Thank you Faythe. You just handed me back my balls." That was an OSM! An even bigger one was when he found out about her (view spoiler)[and Jace's little tryst. I was aching for him! I loved Faythe...especially for her bad-assness. But the wasy she treated Marc....she didn't deserve him. (hide spoiler)] All in all a great series that I will now add to my favorites and I will re-read piles! Thank you Ms. Vincent for creating such an amazing series with lotsa gore and action and emotional trama...I loved it!!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>(less)
