So the book starts about 3-4 months after the battle on the borrowlands. Lady lost her powers, and leaves the empire, eventeraly, with Croaker and the Company, now down to 7 people until a handfull inlist. we still have Goblin and One-Eye, as peachy as ever, and Otto. we get some, err, romance from Croaker with Lady, as we see how, err, deep that bond was. We grow to love Lady, becouse in the Cronicals, she was, honestly, a b*tch. twortd the end of Shadow Games, Croaker is (view spoiler)[kidnapped by... you guessed it! Soulcatcher. Yah, we thought she was dead, but nearly all the Taken are alive. so then we go to Dreams of Steel.
Dreams of Steel is narrerated by Lady. she has an interesting vie of events, including how she feels towards Croaker. we learn that evwen though she belives he and the rest of the company dead, she struggles to survive and thrive in a empire the is ran by men. her powers are starting to resurface, though not as strongly. she makes a few friends, who feel she is confident and competent to run an army and empire. meanwile, croaker is with soulcatcher, more by force. he reataches her head, and is told the "world thinks us dead" by soulcatcher. as the book goes on, with all the "shadowmasters" and Lady, Croaker, and the rest of the gang, we are told of a suprise. we know that Lady and Croaker slept togather twice and aparently she is ....Pregnate! acording to Ladys"friends" she is the daughter of night(lady not the kid). lady learns croaker is alive, and at the company camp, becouse soulcatcher is kidnapped. she sends a letter over the river, for the waters had risen, so she could not go over. after the child is borne, narahan, ladys friend kidnappes her, and leaves. the book end with lady ploting her revinge.
the silver spike was unnessasary, all i will say is raven dies becouse he gets the dominators evil, silent dies killing limper again, and case hooks up with darling. thats all thats important!

So that I have not uteraly wasted it, here is a copy, forevermore- The Lord of the Rings was written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in 1954. The books became extremely popular in the 1970 and into the 80’s. the books later came to life in the Lord of the Rings movies. The Fellowship is classified as “Brilliant” and “distinguished”. The Fellowship has several settings. The setting is given lots of detail, for the author wanted it to be pictured well. It moves from the shire, to a small village, then again to an Elvin forest. As the story progresses, the setting continues to move to the mountains of moria, to the river bank that the fellowship ends. We cannot give the book an exact time period, because it is fiction/fantasy. We can relate it to the middle ages. The main character is Frodo Baggins. He is the Ring Bearer. His uncle left him as his only heir, leaving Frodo the ring of doom. Frodo is a relatively believable character, because he goes on an impossible mission. We are given eight other important characters. Bromior and Aragorn, men, Gilmi, a dwarf, Legolus, the elf, and Merry, Pippin, and Sam, hobbits, And the final part of the fellowship, Gandalf the Grey, a wizard, also my favorite character’s. I also want to put in that the setting and characters are similar to those in the Inheritance Cycle. The book begins with the birthday party of Frodo and his dear uncle, Bilbo. After Bilbo uses the ring to disappear at the party, he goes to his home to prepare to leave. He is intercepted by Gandalf, who insures the ring is left behind. Bilbo reluctantly turns the ring over, so it will be left in Frodo’s care. After Bilbo’s departure, Frodo returns and has a long talk with Gandalf, about the Ring. Gandalf spends much time explain the Ring and its power, but warns Frodo that Sauron must never touch it or the shire would become under his rule. Sam overhears this and is proposed as Frodo’s companion into Mondor. After some creative planning, Sam and Frodo leave, but not without Merry and Pippen, two young hobbit friends of Frodo’s. They head to the town called Bree, but not without encountering several of the Black Riders, or ringwarths, hunting for the Ring. In Bree, they meet a man called Strider, and after a letter from Gandalf is presented, takes then to Riverdale, a forest of elves. The way proves difficult, and during a battle with the Black Riders near Riverdale, Frodo is severally wounded. After nearly a week, Frodo awakes in Riverdale, with Gandalf at his bedside. They then go to the counsel of elves where the task at hand is discussed. Nine travelers make the Fellowship (see characters mentioned above). After seven days the Fellowship begins. The companions head first to the mountains of Moria. After a snow storm that nearly kills the hobbits, they arrive in Moria, a town of old that has been abandoned long ago. As they pass though, a large band of orcs shows up and attacks the company. The company, having been severally outnumbered chooses to flee. Gandalf, in a last attempt to subdue the orcs, uses his magic to cause a small earthquake. Most of the orcs fall, but he does as well. After Gandalf’s fall, Aragorn is the leader of the company. They then head to an Elvin forest of Lorien. They arrive but are told Gilmi, the dwarf must go blindfolded. Later, as the lord and lady of the forest near. The dwarf and everyone else are told they can now see the forest, for the lady gave leave. Once they meet the lady, Galadiel, Frodo learns she has one of the three elven rings that the Ring has power over. She tells Frodo that once the Ring is destroyed, hers will no linger have power, and will make the enchanting forest of Lorien be nothing but like the rest. As the company part after what seems like just days, but is truly nearly a month, the lady gives each gifts they can use. Each is given a cloak, and food, and a item that will make the journey to Mondor more bearable. They leave in the fine craftsmanship of Elvin boats. As they nears Minas Tirth, Frodo is asked to decide if he will go to Minas Tirth, or if he will go to Mondor, and destroy the ring. After an unsettling encounter with Bromire, Frodo decides to go to Mondor, alone. Before he leaves, Sam finds him and goes with him. The Fellowship ends with Aragon, Legolus, and Gilmi looking for the four hobbits. I like the Fellowship of the Ring, mostly because it had aspects of challenge, mystery, and fantasy. The story does not end hear, but in The Return of the King. I have taken a quote and added it to my white board. “Courage is found in unlikely places”. I honestly feel this book should be read by the adventure with LOTS of spare time, because the book is complex and take s awhile to read and understand. I have given the Fellowship a rating of five out of five, due to its complex nature and its entertainment, not to mention its appeal to readers everywhere. GO TEAM GANDALF! (less)
