Gracie has a secret, that has jaded her ideas of what life would be with the man who holds her heart in his hands. When an impromptu kiss ends with Jason feeling rejected, he ends up doing something drastic that could ruin any chance of a future with Gracie, once he begins to understand that some secrets need to be revealed.
This was an actual reread, not sure why I seem to forget which books of Diana Palmer but I do. Thank goodness for GR so I can cross them off my list. This was actually one of my favorite Diana Palmer books, Jason was a jerk at times but you knew from the beginning his feelings for Gracie. Although he makes an ass out of himself, it is not as bad as some of her heros and it is forgivable. A great read....more

Their livWhen Texas Ranger Marc Brannon walked out of Josette Langley's life two years ago, it was one more betrayal from him she couldn't move past. Their lives had been intertwined throughout the years, and every terrible moment she had Marc was always on the opposite side.
When Josette is forced to work with Marc, in order to solve a high profile murder, she is not sure she will be able to get through it intact. Her heart still aches for Marc, but moving past the hurt is a tough pill to swallow.
Marc has lived with nothing but regret since that day two years ago, he only hopes that Josette can forgive him. Marc is not sure he will be able to let her go a second time, but he plans to do everything in his power to earn her forgiveness and trust again.
This was an inadvertent reread for me, but still enjoyed the story. In typical Diana Palmer fashion the male figure pushes the boundaries a bit on what is forgiveable. He says some pretty nasty things to Josette, but he does redeem himself at the end....more

When one of her secret crushes steps in to help, it makes matters worse to find out he knew as well.
Officer Jon just wants to cradle his Randi Lee and shower her with kisses, but he knows the timing is not right for that. His lover Wyatt has been waiting for fifteen years to be able to tell Randi how he feels. Wyatt had long ago told Jon that she is what they would need to feel complete, initially Jon thought it was just healthy day dreaming but from the moment he set eyes on her he knew it was true. Now that Randi is free, both Jon and Wyatt plan to show her how great their life could be.
3.75, well worth the read. The only thing I knocked it for was it was a bit melodramatic while Randi tried to move past what others thought rather than what she wanted to make herself whole....more

Her fathers murder is still unsolved and it looks like the man she has begun to fall for, Shane Dufy is not all he appears to be or it could be that Grant Fallon, a geologist who has shown interest in her is planting seeds to keep her away from Shane. Who does she trust during this time of turmoil.
There was a lot going on in this story, it was too much for me. I like Desiree Holt a lot but this one I had a hard time connecting with the characters....more

Reno is the complete opposite of Chase, she is intelligent, shy, and treats him like he is just another person. Chase has wanted to see what would develop and he finally has a chance, which ends up short lived. Reno doesn't feel she is what Chase needs, he is flashy, sexy, and could have any woman on the planet but for some reason Chase wants her.
This is actually a reread for me, I never wrote a review. What Reno and Chase both fail to realize is that they both are putting their insecurities first and allowing it to tear them apart. I think Reno understands more quickly than Chase who manages to make a muck of things but overall it works itself out. A little rushed towards the end with a big happy bow but otherwise an enjoyable story....more

Excited about the challenge in front of her, she is thrown for a loop by the arrogant heir Alexander Abrams whose bellow is not the least bit intimidated to her, but she decides to avoid him at all costs.
Bryant is Alexander's best friend, but when he meets Robin he knows she is the one that would be a perfect fit for him and Alexander. He only has to figure out how to get Robin and Alexander to be able to see what he knows is a perfect fit for three.
I am a big fan of the Male Order series, but this one had some big holes. One very plot point was missing something that I still have not quite wrapped myself about what happened. I also had a hard time warming up to Alexander, he was not very likeable, Bryant however is adorable....more

Ash though wont be detered from what he wants and it is Juliana. Through a series of comical events, the two find a comfortable rhythm as their relationship continues to grow even with a few hurdles set in their way.
I liked this one, dragged a slight bit at the end but otherwise a fun read.
***Reread because I was thinking of the mutton chop sideburns and the way Ash handles a volatile Juliana, whose potty mouth is trying to intimidate him. I think this was better the second time around....more

The fourth in the series, can't wait until the 5th. My only wish is that they had written this all in one book but each book focuses on a brother and builds up the kink another level per each book....more

Seeking out the truth about her birth parents, Savannah finds herself the heir to a fortune and the circumstances of her biological fathers death questionable. As Savannah heads to Miami to uncover the truth, she leaves her almost fiancee Judd waiting for her. As much as it hurts both, Savannah has to figure out the truth before she can start their future.
I had a hard time getting into this one and than around page 85 it hooked me. At first I thought Savannah was overdramatic, but their is something charismatic about Savannah once the pieces begin to fall into place. I loved the lawyer in this book that works with Savannah he has a magnetic personality and really stole the show. Overall a 3.75....more

Rock McCall reluctantly agrees to this but plans on fighting it all the way, especially when he meets the architect Callie Masters. Callie not one to back down, especially after the past seven months she had, jilted at the altar just one of the many hurdles she had to overcome, gives Rock a piece of her mind causing a slow burning yearning that is not going to go away anytime soon.
I thought this was hilarious, everytime Rock is in Callie's company an accident happens to him causing him to fluster and rant and rave. I really enjoyed this book, liked the chemistry and thought the interaction between Callie and Rock was fantastic....more
