When Bowen Montgomery arrives at McHugh Keep, that sliver of a new life for Genevieve arrives. Bowen doesn't know why the stunning woman is hated by the rest of the clan, or the cause of the scar running down one side of face but he does know she doesn't belong at the keep and promises to give her protection and safe passage when he leaves.
Bowen takes his roll seriously trying to shield Genevieve from further cruelty forming a bond with her that is unexpected. As he falls deeper for the lovely lass he is torn between keeping her close or returning her to her family who believes she is dead.

Rumors swirl about Eveline Armstrong mostly that she is “touched” or “daft”, but no one has gotten close enough to her in years to really see if the rumors are true. Graeme Montgomery is insulted that he is forced to marry a woman who can bear no heirs , nor for all marital purposes share his bed. He knows to go against the king will mean swift death for his clan, but it can’t help him dread is impending fate.
Eveline has kept a secret for three years, while she lets the rumors drift, they are far from the truth. Seeing Graeme as a chance for safety and perhaps an opportunity to be herself, Eveline accepts the marriage only to learn he has plans for it in name only. Of course Graeme has never met a woman like Eveline who is intent on making him proud as the lairds wife, even if she can’t hear.

Enter Marcus MacGregor into her life, whose interest is peaked by the openly defiant and outspoken American woman who has Celt blood running through her veins. She arrived on the MacGregor land a bit of a mystery but her passionate nature has quickly made her future determined, Marcus plans to marry her. Elise has other ideas and has no issues rebuffing his efforts.
A merry dance ensues between the stubborn Elise and the reluctantly patient Marcus, often leading to laugh out loud moments as he tries to win her heart. My Highland Love is filled with fantastic chemistry, intrigue, and a hint of mystery. I thought this was a really enjoyable read, wrapped into the story right away and absolutely loved Elise and Marcus. (less)

Included is the lovers to a powerful fairy, who want to make his life miserable. Centuries later the fairy have found the perfect candidate to be Hawk's bride, a woman who hates beautiful men, Adrienne de Simone.
Adrienne has no clue what has happened, one minute she is at home in Seattle, the next she is in the lap of a king who is forcing her to wed a man she has never met Hawk. Once she lays on Hawk, she has no problem telling him no or whatever comes to mind. He only reminds her of her troubled past and has no plans of repeating it again.
For the first time in his life Hawk has found someone he wants to spend his life with, but she spurns him at every turn. He will have to seduce her like no other until which time he plans to have her writhing in pleasure and saying his name.
Delicious treat, loved the sparring between Hawk and Adrienne. Karen Moning has gift when it comes to writing and describing the scenes, you are able to imagine everything going on which makes for a spectacular story.(less)

Resigned to a tedious life, Emma is shocked when Highlander Jamie Sinclair interupts the nuptials and kidnaps the bride.
Jamie planned on kidnapping the bride and holding her for ransom, wanting a possession he has never been able to retrieve in return. He figured the lady would be so frightened and meek that it would be easy to keep her captive, what he got though was a tempered lass who has no qualms sharing her feelings or devising new ideas to drive him mad in wanting her.
Thoroughly fun read, Emma has several surprises in store for Jamie. Everytime he thinks he is one up on her, she figures a way to outwit him. Love a great book that has spark to it.(less)
