Summary: Cass Jones is a plus-sized fashion designer. By accident or fate she meets heart-throb Andreas Katsakis and after one night she flees in Cinderella-esque fashion, leaving behind a signature piece of her clothing line.
Review: I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
In this steamy Cinderella-esque story that starts with a hotel room mix-up, an expensive suite is double booked, and originally it had been booked to millionaire Andreas Katsakis and then booked for Cass Jones for the night after she pitched her plus-sized clothing line.
The mistake was discovered when Andreas arrives and after a shower climbs into bed only to find it occupied by Miss Jones. After a steamy sexual encounter Cass flees, leaving behind a signature nightgown from her collection, and leaving many questions unanswered for Andreas.
This book easily captured my attention and sucked me into the story. Toni Dare has a flare for the erotic, and her writing style is one that will keep you captivated from beginning to end.
The only complaint I have with this story is some of the time jumps are jarring and tend to pull me briefly from the story. It isn't horrible but it is noticeable. Also, it is short! I want more of the steaminess between Cass and Andreas! They are a fantastic couple and I do hope that Toni revisits them again! ...more

Summary: Five year army veteran 1st Sergeant Trent Long and Pinkerton Agent, thought being set-up, charged, tried and convicted for murder and attempted stagecoach robbery of 2 million dollars in US gold was the worse thing that could happen to him. Little did he know that it was only just the beginning.

Honestly, I could not get into this book. I tried and I tried, and I tried through each and every word, each and every paragraph. All of it, it was a struggle to read through, and I couldn't do it. The sex scenes were good, but I simply couldn't wrap my head around this one.
It is very well written, and I will admit that I did enjoy the sex scenes, but more often than not I was pushing myself through each scene that didn't involve sex. I'm not entirely sure what else I can say about this one....more

Summary: Carter Morgan is a wealthy CEO and playboy, who almost always has a model on his arm and very rarely lets anyone into his heart. He usually gets what he wants when he wants until he meets Eva Austin. That's when the sparks fly.
Review: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This story is a short, quick read and unfortunately it does leave me wanting more. Needing more between Carter and Eva. It does tend to leave me wanting, to a point, but do enjoy the short glimpses that I get in the relationship between Eva and Carter.
I do understand that it is to be a four part novella series, that comprise about a 300 page read when all is said and done, and am not entirely keen on this particular way of writing a series, but it works for some. I do love the fact that it was a quick read, and it was decidedly in your face and fantastically written and well crafted.
The sex scenes within this novella are fantastic and had my mind whirling at about a thousand naughty thoughts a second, which is definitely a good thing! The heat is there, oh very much so, and I love me some heat. It is a unique combination of Christian Grey and Gideon Cross which tends to send my libido into overdrive – really. I'm not joking here.
So, do I recommend this book, based on the first installment of the novella, decidedly so. I will be looking for the remaining parts of this series. ...more

Summary: Austin meets Karen. There is sex. There is bad dialogue. That’s all.
Review: Adult book. Adult review. Thank goodness this is a free book, or I would be crying at the waste of money spent on this fifteen minute, horrible story. I actually finished it, but couldn’t find the effort or the interest to give it anything higher than one star. The lines in this one are absolutely horrid, prime example is this little gem here: "Austin, I want to leave now. I want you inside of me melting your hot stick of love between my legs" and then there is this one here: "Yes baby release all that warm juice in me now"
This book seriously is nothing more than Kindle smut, and bad smut at that, and very rarely do I stumble across something THIS bad that I couldn’t even take anything pleasurable away from it – aside from the ache in my sides from the laughter at some of those lines. I recommend this for a good laugh but not for that surge of pleasure from an erotic story.

Summary: The hot wife needs money to save her husband's life, so enters a Faustian bargain with the horny neighbor: money for unlimited sex-on-demand. But he has no idea how long the sex freak has been denied pleasure, forcing him to step up his game to give her what she so badly needs. Their relationship blossoms, but what will the husband do when he finds out? (Taken from Goodreads.com)
Review: Adult book. Adult review. This was a free book from the Author on smashwords.com, and if you are looking for a quickie story that has hot sex, a touch of blackmail and starts off with an indecent proposal then this is most definitely for you. The witty dialogue helped move the story along easily, and the sex scenes had enough detail to keep me interested throughout the story as did the interactions that did not involve sex. Everything eventually falls into place for the couple and they do have a happily ever after spawned by their affair (though not that either of them were in happy places to begin with). This was a short book, and thus it is going to be a short review. I love the sex in this book, the adventures that the couple have in the time that they are together. It spans about ten months or so and highlights various events that occur during the ten months they were together.

Summary: Set in 1794, Jeanette the daughter of a family dispossessed French aristocracy has been married off to regain a bit of wealth for her family, however, her husband is impotent and has made plans to compromise her in the most heinous way in his quest for an heir. Intent on escaping this fate she flees and disguises herself as a boy to stow away on a ship in Her Magesty’s navy. In the same time, Lieutenant Crawford Treynor, the bastard son of a wayward marquise had been raised by a famer and maltreated until he ran away to join the navy. Now, he seeks to captain his own ship, however the presence of Jeanette has him in a quandary. What shall he do? Turn her over or risk everything to save her?
Review: Brenda Novak has spun a stirring tale of intrigue, romance and absolute wonder. The relationship between Jeanette and Treynor is almost entirely typical of all romance novels. However, this story is action packed and absolutely stunning in its imagery.
Jeanette has been married off out of obligation to her family, and having survived France’s Revolution, her family, a member of the dispossessed aristocracy, she is now in England. Still bearing their title, but they are impoverished, Jeanette is determined to relieve the hardships plaguing her family in her marriage to Lord St. Ives. However, there is a hitch in the plan that is over heard by her brother, and causes Jeanette to flee the home of her husband and attempting to get into London where her influential cousin resides.
Lieutenant Crawford Treynor is the bastard son of Lady Bedford, and was raised by a famer who mistreated him and such mistreatment caused him to run away at the age of fourteen and join the Royal Navy. He moved quickly through the ranks from cabin boy to lieutenant, his life had not been easy, but he is a man of honor and has earned the respect of his men. It is while The Tempest is moored in Plymoth that Jeanette learns that it will be sailing for London, she disguises herself as a thirteen-year-old boy and signs on as one of the crew. Two days on a ship to London is easier and a quicker way to travel than any other right?
Extensive background of naval sailing ships of the late 18th century and lots of historical detail woven into the story made this a very entertaining historical romance, though not entirely certain as to the accuracy of the events but it reads quite realisitically, and the love story is wonderful.

Summary: Not your typical romance. Now, together, they have more – love, passion, intimacy, and a world of infinite possibilities. But Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them ever anticipated. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity, identity or independence; Christian must somehow overcome his compulsion to control, and lay to rest the horrors that blighted his past and haunt his present.
Just when it seems that together their love can conquer any obstacle, misfortune, malice and fate combine to make Ana’s worst nightmares come true. Alone and desperate, she must face down the poisoned legacy of Christian’s past. (Taken from goodreads.com, save for first line).
Review: This book, I knew would be difficult going into, it is usually hard for me to read the last book of a really, really good series and this one was no exception. Why? Because I know that the story is over and there won’t be any future additions to the series and that saddens me. However, this book right here, does not go quietly into the sunset, this book does not go down without a fight.
I seriously spent so many hours on the edge of my seat reading this book, because happiness has found Christian and Ana, but as we learned at the end of the second book, it would only last so long when a vendetta is called, hatred directed toward Christian puts everyone in danger and it takes some time to figure out why and that it is all tied to Christian’s sordid past. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry, I wanted to laugh, but most of all I wanted to keep reading during every available time I could.
I distinctly remember that the day I finished it, as per usual, I’d gotten to a very suspenseful part and that meant it was time to start my shift, so away went my Kindle, and then I swear I was like a kid waiting to open presents on Christmas morning, my break couldn’t get there fast enough for me to find out what was going to happen next. Seriously it drove me crazy, one of my co-workers was like, now I want to know what is happening now when I was talking to her about the book.
Very good read, and must be read AFTER you’ve read Fifty Shades of Grey and then Fifty Shades Darker.

Summary: Not your typical romance. Anastasia has left Christian, attempting to create a career for herself at a Seattle publishing house, however, her thoughts are perpetually on Christian and her libido constantly yearning for him. Christian proposes a new arrangement, one vastly different than he is used to and one that Ana cannot refuse. However, they each have their own demons to deal with – Christian and his Fifty Shades, and Ana and the women who have come before her.
Review: Seriously and utterly sucked into this series. I issue my plea again, please Santa leave a Christian Grey under my tree in those sexy playroom jeans, barefoot, and the top button of the fly undone as is proper. That is all I want!
The romance has continued, picked up after Ana has left Christian which is the most torturous time for both of them. E.L James has only improved since the first book of this series. You live each tortured moment that encompasses Ana’s emotions and even Christian’s past. You cannot help but fall in love with these characters and the families of them. Ana is much stronger, much more determined for this relationship to work, and sets some rules of her own that Christian is trying very hard to adapt to.
Between all the struggles and heart breaking events that fill these pages you cannot help but be swept away with all the love and compassion that is in these books. However, they CANNOT be read out of order or you lose key information, you lose important details.
Read Fifty Shades of Grey first, and then this one and then move on to Fifty Shades Freed, to ensure that you do not miss a moment of this heart-stoppingly wonderful story.

Summary: Not your typical romance. Christian Grey, has unique erotic tastes, and wants to do very kinky things to Anastasia Steele, who was drafted into interviewing him in the place of her roommate for the campus magazine in honor of Grey being the one giving the diplomas at graduation this year. However, both of them are about to be turned upside down by emotions that neither thought would rear their heads: love, passion, devotion, rage, jealousy and so many others. What will happen to them both?
Review: Decidedly NOT for any readers under the age of eighteen, given the graphic nature of some of the scenes, more so than any other romance novel out there. I suppose that is why it is being pulled off of library shelves (I smell this trilogy making its way on to the banned book list for 2012 anyone else?). Many of you are facing the question of to read or not to read, and truth be told, read it. No harm can come from you spending some time reading a book. I’ve found that there are those that love it and those that hate it, there is (no pun intended) no shades of grey when it comes to this book or series for that matter.
Yes, there is sex, and not all of it is straight up vanilla missionary style sex. There is to quote from the series some “kinky fuckery” that involves all sorts of unique toys (often found in the section of the adult stores that house leather in abundance). However, there is actual character development in these stories, there is literally the essence of each of these two individuals being laid bare and attempting to find love and togetherness against all odds. This is definitely the kind of book that will keep you up all night reading (I know, I very nearly did it on more than one occasion).
It is funny, knowing that this is a romance with BDSM tendancies, that mainstream music even showcases a little bit of one’s subconscious desire for a bit of “kinky fuckery” with songs like Rhianna’s “S&M” (and that is the main one that comes to mind at the moment), but so many people aren’t even willing to come to grips with the fact that they would even try something above and beyond “conventional” sex. However, I am NOT stepping on that soapbox right now.
Read the book, honestly, it won’t kill you. I promise.
Also, if I could create Christian Grey, I would clone him and be a millionaire from selling the clones of this image of sex personified (and yes, I’d create his millions too, because someone that sexy needs all his money too).
