When Kristen Ashley releases a new badass alpha male book, I put all others aside and read it. To date, she's not let me down. Though I'm rating Fire Inside 4.5/5 stars, that in no way indicates that it's not as hot or as badass as her other books.(less)
You know how you pick up a book with certain expectations and it goes above, beyond, and over the moon exceeding those expectations? That's what Strings is for me. I knew it was going to be dirty (hello? read the author's synopsis), but I didn't expect Strings to make me laugh inside and out over and over. (less)

What starts as a book with an underlying plot line of a submissive in training, The Submissive ends up being a mystery wrapped in a love story wrapped in another love story. In all honesty, I would have loved to read more about the character development, and maybe that will come in the following books. (less)
3.5/5 stars I admit I had high hopes for this indie book that's sitting near the top of every bestseller list. I'm also a fan of a forbidden relationship story and a mystery past, so those had me hooked as well.(less)
This book is probably unlike any you've ever read. Blind Obsession is haunting, yet sexy; tragic, yet lovely; mysterious, yet personal. It's one dichotomy after another and left me so damn confused about how I was supposed to feel that by the time everything unfolded, I was relieved to make it to the end, yet disappointed to not continue. Normally, a tragic story doesn't include hardcore sex, but in this book, it fits and makes this book a must-read for anyone who can handle having your emotions shattered.(less)

Mysteriously living her life in the middle of Nowheresville, USA, Ashton stumbles on the hot and bothered Nathan and decides to bed him. Because...of course she would. Only after deciding to make a one-night stand into a longer sexed-up agreement do secrets about why either one of them are currently living where they are. It's discovering those secrets and the feistiness of Ashton that I loved most about No Attachments.(less)

Though this book isn't part of the other Abbi Glines' series with some of the same characters, the characters overlap and we get to find out what's has been happening in their lives. It's not really necessary to read the other series before this book, but if you know the characters already, it's a bonus. Woods and Della come together for a hot-ass couple of hot-ass sex scenes that make this book a must-read. (less)
I realize these are big words to say: Beyond Shame has THE hottest sex scene I've ever read. That alone is reason enough to read this book. Though I'm not a huge fan of dystopian society books (aside from Hunger Games—LOVED), the setting of this book doesn't really make a difference to the innocent-girl-finds-tough-man-of-her-dreams story. I highly recommend Beyond Shame if you're looking for something a little different from the norm with a load of hot scenes.(less)
I fell hard in love with Tessa Bailey's first book, Protecting What's His, and I couldn't wait to get started on the second in the series. Though there's nothing in the books that crosses over from one to the next, both are centered around a badass law man protecting his woman. I liked His Risk to Take, but I felt like there could have been so much more to the sexual chemistry of the characters. After reading PWH, I know it's possible; I just wish there was more to this story to draw me into liking it more. It's still a solid 4 out of 5 stars and I recommend it to anyone who likes a man with a dirty mouth that takes over in the bedroom.(less)
The hotness of this book is off the charts. Rock With Me, the fourth in the With Me In Seattle series by Kristen Proby, is by far my favorite. Both Leo and Sam are amazingly strong characters, coming together with their own baggage. Together, they make one of my all-time favorite couples. Their sex scenes are h-o-t and plentiful, making me wonder how Sam can even walk and Leo stand up straight. I'd also like to send a lovely, humpy thank you note to Kristen for sharing her muse, Sulan Von Zoomlander, with all of us smut lovers. He's a delicious addition to my Spank Bank arsenal. Rock With Me is a big, fat must-read. (less)
[4.5/5 stars] I just wanted Evie to catch a break. She's had a crap life and makes the decision to change her path. Only...she runs into Hunter, and her bad luck continues. Wanderlust is dark erotica, meaning there is dubious consent in sexual situations that may be uncomfortable to read for many people. The writing is excellent and the story is unpredictable, which makes this a must-read for anyone who is comfortable reading morally questionable activities. (less)
Though Rules of Entanglement is a sequel to Seducing Cinderella, it's not necessary to read its predecessor. I wasn't a huge fan of the first book, but Rules of Entanglement more than makes up for whatever Cinderella was lacking. The sex scenes between Jackson and Vanessa are so hot, my fingers got twitchy, mostly from the heat coming off my Kindle. Nessie is a hardass when it comes to her life rules, and Jax is a hardass with everything else. The sweet-talking fighter and Hawaiian resident could melt the panties off any steadfastly independent woman.

When presented with the unquestionable, Kayla has to make a dark and twisted decision that leads her into even darker realizations. These novellas are not for the sensitive-hearted. While they were jam-packed with story and mystery, there was a lot to be assumed with little foreshadowing. Being that they are novellas, not much can be fit into the books, but by the end of the series, so much is fit in that some of the connections with the characters is lost. Overall, I was left liking what I read, even though I hated Gage.(less)
