I'm guessing his favorite past time nowadays is hangin' out with sir Rick Riordan. Trolls of the same feather... wait, trolls don't have feathers!!
Enough with the crap, I was severely mad at this book. SPOILERS ALERT. First, it took the alien author four books to finally reunite all the remaining Garde. The second thing (that really made me want to send a gazillion of Mogadorians to hunt down this fugitive Loric leader) was, for the sake of his greatness for trolling, he killed an interesting (one of my favorites!) character. TROLL STYLE. JUST LIKE THAT. The heck!?
YEAH, PRETTY MUCH WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH THAT LEMONY SNICKET'S ALIEN-STYLED COPYCAT.
Well, I'm not really addicted to this series, and to be honest, it was kind of a shock when I realized that I'd actually read all the "I am Number Four" books! 'The Lost Files' series included!
The good thing about this book though is, well, it's probably the best book among the series so far, 'book two' being the worst still. And for the first time ever in my history of reading the biographies of some alien hot dudes and bad-ass alien gals, I'm now eagerly awaiting the next installment to come out! And oh, did I mention that Adam finally made it to the main series??! I was so happy!! Finally!! I've been waiting for him to join John (Four) and his gangstah of supah aliens. (less)

YOU AREalwaysMAKING WANT TO SLAM MY HEAD AGAINST A WALL, MAKING ME WANT TO CRY A BAZILLION DROPLET OF TEARS, MAKING ME LAUGH UNTIL I FIND IT HARD TO BREATHE, AND MOST OF ALL, YOU ARE MAKING ME WANT TO SMACK THAT BRILLIANT HEAD OF YOURS WITH A HARD-BOUND BOOK OF THE HOUSE OF HADES. AND I'M FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU EVEN MORE!!!!
More over, this is, for me, the best book so far among the Heroes of Olympus series.
Just one question, though: Why the hell did you do that to Nico de Angelo?! Oh, man, you just broke many hearts *including mine, since I was Nico's fangirl*

Though I was kind of disappointed with this book somehow. I mean, this is another dystopian-themed series, so I was really expecting a total kick-ass heroine--like Katniss Everdeen or Tris Prior. Even there wasn't any scene in the book that kept me on the edge of my seat. But I would say, this book has a lot of potential. Can't wait to read the the second book! (less)

He's so hot-headed he's driving me mad, too!! But still, this book is really great, especially the 'Dumbledore vs Voldemort' magical battle! So E-P-I-C.

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GIVE US A HEART ATTACK?! DO YOU REALLY LOVE TO BREAK THE HEARTS OF SO MANY PERCYBETH FANS?! DO YOU REALLY, secretly ENJOY GIVING US A REASON TO FEEL DEPRESSED FOR A YEAR WHILE WE WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT BOOK?! . . . .
. . . HOW — COULD — YOU!! . . .
Okay, enuf with the drama.
I'd been so eager to read this book simply because of Annabeth. When it first came out, I was so happy and excited. "Finally," I was thinking during that moment, "my lovely Annabeth Chase has gotten herself a perspective!!" And what's more... Jason didn't!!!! Ha-ha!!
I really liked this book. Unfrtntly, the conclusion for The Mark of Athena was terribly heart-breaking,the kind of ending that will make you wish for Clarisse's existence so that you can hire her to pulverize the author!(Just kidding! I'm a big fan of Rick Riordan, actually. Though he's kinda annoying when he does something like 'the-worst-cliffhanger-ever' in his booksies :PP)
Gosh, I really can't wait for the next book!! Hurry up, Rick Riordan, before I snap!!! (less)

I love the Kane siblings, especially the very-mature-almost-thirteen Sadie Kane. She's smart and annoying and heck, a half-british. She also loved to use 'bloody brilliant' as her trademark expression which was totally hilarious.
Well, If you love magic, humor, mysteries, interesting characters who use wands (though not the 'swiss and flick' kind of thing, Egyptian wizards used a curved wand), siblings who annoy each other, an epic adventure, senseless gods and goddesses, and twist in a story, well, this book's definitely just for you. To start off, I'd like to describe my beloved Perseus 'Percy' Jackson, the dyslexic, hyperactive, twelve-year old hero in the story. He's the son of one of the BigThree in Greek mythology, Old seaweed er... I mean, Poseidon, the God of Sea. He's brave, smart, loyal, a li'l bit sarcastic, impulsive, and sometimes naive (which's kinda cute). That's why I love his character! Well, almost all the characters here are interesting!
This kinda reminds me of Harry Potter in some way. Percy was like Harry, both trying to live a normal life but since they're actually extraordinary kids, they caused unexpected troubles. Annabeth Chase, just like Hermione, was the brainiac one. She was the daughter of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategies. And Grover, a satyr and Percy's protector and closest friend, was somehow similar to Ron Weasley (though not physically of course!). Both reliable best-friends-forever.
Okay, now that I finally read it, I felt weird just thinking 'bout the movie version which I even watched on big screen. Everything's so different!! But I both love this book and its movie adaptation. Logan Lerman was very, very handsome! I'm happy he's gotten the role as Percy Jackson. :D And I like Alexandria too as Annabeth and the funny Grover guy.

And to be honest, I'm still struggling trying my best not to laugh while I give my personalized review on this title. But before anything else, I'd like to say that- I should have given this book a 5-star rating if not for Raven's attitude of being so stupid!~sometimes :P hell Yeah, she became a real headache and mental disaster this time around!! But of course, she's still far from the most annoying swan in the YA world. And don't get me wrong, I honestly like Raven's character. believe me. *cross.my.haaart!* oh crap! I forgot I don't have one!
Okay back to Raven. Those who already read the entire book series or just happened to read one or some of VK( I mean Vampire Kisses and not Vampire Knight )book series,'guess you're already aware that Raven is such a trouble magnet troublesome heroine. She/'s: -Nosy -short-tempered -sarcastic -likes to kick Trevor's butt -so emo looking gal! -Soooo GOTHic!! And most importantly, she had this weird(very deep) obsession over vampires! But what makes her stand out among some(considered stupid&lame) YA vamp-heroines is her humorous personality! She's also smart and witty and definitely not a slut. She only had an eye for Alexander. ~Oh hey Alexander!:D You know what, because of this book I suddenly fell in love w/ you!! ~kyaa!!
Actually, I really, really, really wanted to spoil everything here!! I mean, totally spilling the beans!! most esp. the identity of the mysterious purple-haired guy named Phoenix! Seriously. I never thought this book would be one of the best VK book series until I had finished reading it! This book just... caught me off guard! lol!
Oh well, I decided not to spoil the details around here for the sake of the person who'd just become mad(maybe juz a lil') at me because I spoiled/revealed too much for her to take. Sorry dude even though we both know that I'm not sincere and you'll never get the chance to read this eventually. (less)

From the bottom of my heart... I Thank You ~teary-eyed~
Well, this story tells about a very, very, very short tale (Just little/tiny details) about the childhood days of the Spook. It was a story on how he met the dude (sorry I forgot the name. I have a weakness when it comes to memorizing people's namesakes, and yeah, even the fictional ones) who would teach him the art of Spook's trade. Anyways., it was kind of funny to think how young Gregory (view spoiler)[he actually wanted to be a priest, his 1st passion (hide spoiler)] and Tom were so much alike. Just read it if you want to know what I mean. But of course, I'm betting that Tom is more courageous than his master. :PP
This book also tells short stories about Alice D., Grimalkin., Mother Malkin., etc. all of which you can read in the original series.
Because the stories were all brief (Yeah, sort of disappointing) you cannot expect it to reveal a lot of things/details about the Spook's past. You aren't alone. 'am also craving, wanting, and hoping for the mysteries to be revealed. all in all., this book is a good read esp. to those avid fans of this book title. Oh yeah, just like me!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>(less)

Q: What Tom Ward did in this book? A: Seriously, I don't want to talk about it, but since it's a vital question for readers, what choice do I have? Tom was super epic-fail. USELESS in this book. Urgh!! Really, that pissed me off to the extreme!!
Q: Okay then, how about the Spook? I'll bet he's still awesome despite his age, right? A: Can I make a troll face right now? Q: Why? A: 'Cause he's worse than Tom, geddit? Twice, he was overwhelmed by Bony Lizzie, nothing much he did is helpful. In fact, the author made Old Gregory look like an old sack of potatoes.
Q: So, what's interesting in this book? A: Interesting??? Are you stu--- Okay, Alice, as usual, was the only interesting character here. Yeah, girl power!!
Q: Okay, what's the thing that made this book awesome in your point of view? A: If you're up to some scary readings, well, this book will not disappoint you. I mean it. The writing still creeps me out. Those drawn pictures still send me goosebumps.

Though I can say that the fighting scenes here were brilliant and more fast-faced than the first book. Maybe because this title finally introduced Seven, Nine and heck, number Ten! Oh well, two more numbers to go: Eight and five. This is kinda good. 3.9 I hope there's going to be a movie for this one too. Ho-ho I love to see Alex Pettyfer again, kicking ass as Number Four. :)
By the way, Pittacus Lore, what a joke!! :PP (less)
