Although the story it was cathartic and quite intriguing, I would try to avoid creating a story which is filled all throughout with the characterization of Victor as such an overbearing, hubris-based, faux-poignant victim. Simply dealing with Victor's spiels over his suffering felt like an obstacle at times.(less)
