This is the perfect book for a dreamy, lighthearted, summer afternoon, cosy up on a lounger, get the vino within arms length and dive in.... heaven!!
a very pinky, peachy, all is well & everything works out perfectly, everybody happy, one big love-fest, i know i know but sometimes a girl just wants to wallow in romantic fluff. And it is perfectly written! I didn't get bored whatsoever, no repetitions, no rollin' the eyes cause it's all tooooo unbelievable, nope: romance well dosed, thank you very much!(less)

I just finished, my head is still swarming with feelings and afterthoughts...
If you have never ever read something by JCP, please do so now, you will not be let down.
Do i ever want to read meaningless romance ever again? hell no, not after this kick ass ride! I'm glad this is not your regular m/m, Meatworks provides a gritty painful teethgrinding once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is such a pleasure to read a story this realistic and engaging.
Jordan, you are getting better and better with each book, absolutely fabulous!(less)

overall I like it, Ty & Zane are smoking hot together, cute, sweet, muscled and smexxyyyy oh yeah! I especially enjoyed Zane's evolution (he's always been my favorite).
But, aha here comes the but... too many things bugged me.
the constant chuckling/ridiculous banter amidst life & death situations. Personally I hate the coolio-homies banter. we get it in spades in the BDB, i've had it. Can grown-ups talk grown-uppie please? there is so much to say between T, Z, N & K...so many twisted emotions...unfortunately 85% of the time, we have to make do with the hysterical banter.
the limbs going everywhere. Really, gotta keep track of those limbs. Zane's arm reaches behind Ty's neck, Ty's leg is hooking behind Zane's calf, his toes caressing his foot. Bloody hell, feels like I'm stuck in a game of Twister! It's helpfull when dosed in small amounts to really visualise a scene.... but please, don't go overboard with it.
sometimes I was really struggling to keep track of the limbs. what's his hand doing there? where does this leg come from? I thought he was on his back!!???
I loved Nick & Kels, a nice addition and I'm looking forward to reading more about them. Is there actually more to come? I don't know. I've been out of it for about a year. Real life got a bit messy and GR went on standby. It took me a while to take back to reading... re-read the Administration completely... now I'm back to my old favorites (great thing about the pause is that a lot of new work got published so yay: plenty to read!)
Ty & Zane are impossible not to love... troubled, trying so hard to get a chance at 'normal' life & love. they are larger then life, hey, we wouldn't get the rollercoaster of emotions if they were your regular next-door-guys.... Just wished that thin line separating brilliant & incredulous didn't show through.
that being said: already looking forward to those last 40 pages ;)
yeah, so those last 40 pages were more of the same, although i am disappointed cause the hospital-marry me scene between Kels and Nick was way more intense then Ty and Zanes final marry me moment. A real shame
after a long hard struggle with a slowpaced book (i gave up...eventually), this book was utter bliss! Oh hell Chase was delicious, Regi...morea joy to read!

and a definite improvement to the previous books in the series. Less path-well-traveled and more unpredictable twists and turns.
