Secrets that keep him from love and letting any women get to close to him. But when Rylee Thomas falls out of the closet into his arms, Colton is drawn to her in a way that can only be explained by voodoo. Rylee is a stereotypical good girl who even does selfless social work for a boys home that she has been the champion of for the last several years. The banter and sexual innuendos between Colton and Rylee engaged me from the start and made me fall in love with them falling for each other. Colton has work harder than ever to just get Rylee to let him take her on a date. Rylee knows the type of bad boy personna Colton exudes to the public and doesn't want any part of it at first. It is isn't until she sees his heart breaking through with her boys that she begins to believe there is more to him than he presents to the public. This is a must not miss series!!! It is HOT and explicit. Definitely has found a home on my favorites shelf.(less)

It goes into detail about Abby's fears and reasoning for suggesting the sudden wedding and also allows us insight into how their relationship will be working now that fire has changed everything and they will be together forever. I can't wait to read more about the Maddoxes.(less)

I can't wait to read the others in the series. Kacey is struggling to raise her sister after running away from her Aunt's house to keep them safe. She is struggling against PTSD from a horrible car wreck and the last thing she needs is to get involved with the cop next door, Trent. Trent can't seem to help but be drawn to the beautiful girl who is raising her sister. (less)

Trent will have you rooting for him and trying to solve the mystery of why Cami can't commit to such a wonderful guy. I loved that this story was parallel to the rest of Beautiful Series. We have glimpses of Travis and Abby through an outsiders eyes which was a real treat.
Cami was a strong girl with a large family full of brothers. She went to school and has lived in the same small town with the Maddox boys her whole life. Cami is independent, protective and loyal to a fault. Her loyalty to her out of town long distance boyfriend is almost to a fault. As a reader, it was hard to understand how she stood strong in the face of Trenton's pursuit. But as we see more interaction with TJ, the reader understands that TJ is just as good a guy...perfect really. Cami feels like he is the better choice for her but her heart and mind just can't agree.
Trent struggles to understand why Cami continues to stay loyal to TJ when he hardly ever gets time to talk to her, let alone see her. He also has been in love with Cami from afar. He pursues Cami by becoming her friend and in doing so we get to see the sensitive, warm gooey side to this Maddox brother. His interactions with Olive and the reason behind his babysitting will turn you to mush. I loved that Trent still had the Maddox swagger but was definitely his own personality. He is protective and caring with just enough alpha male to make him one of my new book boyfriends. I absolutely cannot wait for the rest of the Maddox brothers books. (less)

Gunner is the all American Cowboy who is such a gentleman and loves Ellie so much that the chemistry fairly sizzles off the page. Ellie has had a hard life with a verbally abusive mother who hates her and low self esteem as a result. But Ellie and Gunner make the most beautiful love story. Kelly Elliot is one hell of a romance writer. (less)

But althought Ty loved Van, he was never really in love with her. He becomes attached to Isabella, Miranda's daughter that he helped deliver by the side of the road one night. But it isn't just Isabella that he is drawn too. Miranda needs a safe place to stay and goes to stay at Ty's farm. Ty is a great character who is funny and irreverent but has HOT chemistry with Miranda. This is a great follow up to Letting Go. I loved how Van and Colt were also continued in this book. This series entwines to produce a great family of romances.(less)

Savannah gets blamed for Ty's accident but stays faithfully at this side. Colt and Van are drawn to each other but try to stay away for each other. But how do you deny the hot chemistry when it appears Ty may never regain consciousness? This was an interesting story line and loved Colt. He was so caring and so Cowboy. I don't want to give too much away but a must read for anyone who likes adult romances.(less)

I really enjoyed the dual POV. Jeff is such a sexy alpha cowboy and I hated that Rebecca kept trying to manipulate him. I cried along with Arianna as Rebecca continued to insert herself in between her and Jeff. I was so relieved the way it worked out and so glad they got a HEA.(less)

Emma wakes up and doesn't recognize anything. As her family begins to tell her about her former life, she feels like she has woke up an entirely different person. The only person who is constant and accepting is her physical therapist, Mason. Mason wants to be close to Emma but he has his own secrets and needs his job.
This story unfolds as a mystery that keeps you reading. You feel and experience as Emma learns about her life and tries to find way through this strange new exsistence. Her parents don't exactly know what to do with this girl who can't even remember what she likes to eat. Emma is torn between trying to be what she once was and being who she feels is becoming.
I bought this book and read it in less than 24 hours. The story draws you in and and just never lets go. Shelly Crane does an amazing job making you swoon and cry at the same time. Mason is the sexiest sweetest person who is Emma's champion and only wants what is best for Emma. There was no way not to fall in love with him right along with Emma. I have no doubt this book will become a favorite.(less)

Without giving too much away, Sky is an incredibly sheltered girl who has begged her adopted mother to start public high school for her senior year. After a rather rotten first day, she happens to meet Holder after a trip to the grocery store. After a couple of chance meetings, Holder's intense emotional roller coaster confuses Sky yet attracts her at the same time. Holder does seem like he is playing with Sky in the beginning but once the story unfolds his emotions and intense feelings are explained.
I was already a huge fan of Colleen Hoover from the Slammed Series. I am so on a quest for a signed book. She has a way of writing raw realistic characters that climb inside your heart and live there a long time. She infuses the story with beautiful emotions and humor that always has me reading way past my bedtime. Hopeless is even better than the Slammed Series. I have no doubt that this will not only be picked up by a large publisher but I predict a movie for this one too. There is so much strong emotional content that gives you a roller coaster ride of emotions and plot twists. I do not want to give even a little bit of a spoiler away because this book must be experienced and savored. I highlighted so much of this book that I don't think there is any page without a note. I butterflying lived it.
A Couple of Fav Quotes:
"Let me inform you of something", he says in a low voice. "The moment my lips touch yours, it will be your first kiss. Because if you've never felt anything when someone's kissed you, then no one's ever really kissed you. Not the way I plan on kissing You" ~Holder *swoon*
"But what I can't handle Sky? What drives me crazy and makes me want to put my hands and mouth all over you every single inch of you? It's the fact that you just said 'The Jerk' is your favorite movie ever. Now That? he drops his mouth to mine until our lips are touching. "That's incredibly F'ing hot and I'm pretty sure we need to make out more." ~ Holder
"This kiss is just like he is--studied and never hurried" ~OMG right there.....:)(less)
