I really enjoyed this book. I did expect it to be my favorite of the Quartet since I loved Malcolm's character in theHAPPY EVER AFTER by Nora Roberts
I really enjoyed this book. I did expect it to be my favorite of the Quartet since I loved Malcolm's character in the other books, but this book turned out to be my least favorite - still a great book though! I just felt like it was trying to hard to make a conflict between Malcolm and Parker, the directions their relationship took seemed a little forced, where in the other books their flirting was full of perfectly flowing chemistry. I guess since they started out so well I expected more in the end. But, all in all, this was a solid read. It stuck to the format of the other 3 books, and gave a happy ever after, so there's nothing wrong with that. :) Wonderful characters, great story, lots of fun, romance, tears, friendship, and happy ever afters. A nice close to a wonderful romance Quartet. If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommend it!
Mac ~ "He's the only guy I ever knew who actually chortled. I don't think you can trust a chortler."
Before I started this book I figured it would be my least favorite in the Quartet, but I'm happy to say that I loved tSAVOR THE MOMENT by Nora Roberts
Before I started this book I figured it would be my least favorite in the Quartet, but I'm happy to say that I loved this book immensely - it might even be my favorite so far! I enjoyed this book from beginning to end, but I really, really adored the last 3 chapters. The more you get to know Laurel, the more you learn to love her. She's strong and hardheaded, but mixes that with sexiness, a hidden vulnerability, and humor making a perfect recipe (pun intended) for a wonderful character. Del was another character that bloomed over time, I loved his character from start to finish. In this book, Nora Roberts does not disappoint, SAVOR THE MOMENT lives up to the wonderful romance you'd expect from the Quartet novels. Perfect, lovable characters, sexy romance, fun humor, and everything else you could possibly want from a great romance novel. I love following these characters; their lives, their loves, their futures. These books are a must read, and I highly, highly recommend them to Nora fans and Nora newbies alike. :) I cannot wait for the final book! :)
I loved this book!! There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Emma is so sweet and perfect, and a pure romantic, and JackBED OF ROSES by Nora Roberts
I loved this book!! There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Emma is so sweet and perfect, and a pure romantic, and Jack is such a typical man's man, but in a good way, and darn sexy and sweet, too. Sigh. They are so freakin' cute. All the regular characters who showed up in Book #1 that were back I just adored them - all of them! Can I just say that I can't be the only one who was excited over Triad's appearance, am I right? :) I think I like this one even better than Book #1, and that one was awesome. I am a sucker for flowers, but that in no way influenced my choice. Really. ;) I thought Emma and Jack's relationship was so sweet and sexy and just...everything! I loved BED OF ROSES so much! *sigh* Nora Robert's knows how to do a romance, that is for certain, so yet another point to her in my books. I can't wait to read Book #3; I have a feeling I know who Laurel will end up with...and Parker, too! ;) And if I'm right, then, yay! Awesome first half to this quartet. Highly, highly recommended! :)
P.S. - I hope I wasn't the only one who had the Bon Jovi song 'Bed of Roses' stuck in my head the whole time I was reading this, lol. :)
Overall Opinion: A+ (or better!)

My Thoughts: I had high expectation for this book, mainly because of the promising storyline, and that fact that Nora RobeBRAZEN VIRTUE by Nora Roberts
My Thoughts: I had high expectation for this book, mainly because of the promising storyline, and that fact that Nora Roberts wrote it. BRAZEN VIRTUE is the first on my "no" list of her books. I found the book to be decent, but was it good enough to recommend to anyone? Not really. I felt that different parts of the story (suspense vs romance) were competing with each other and neither side got 100% effort put into it, both sides lacked greatly. The characters were okay, but then their personalities got on my nerves (especially Jerald and company), I didn't care for some choices about what they did or said (this would be aimed more at Grace and Ed), and it seemed they just kept having the same conversations over and over. Another thing I didn't care for was that some scenes seemed to drag on, and usually those scenes were almost pointless. There were some parts of the book that were good, but at the end of the day that fact was that BRAZEN VIRTUE was very predictable. Very. It's not a book I'd recommend, and I think if someone made it their first Nora Roberts read they wouldn't get the experience of how good her books normally are. Nora Roberts is a "yes", but that doesn't apply to this book.

My Thoughts: Now this is a romance novel! VISION IN WHITE is the perfect mix of romance, both sweet and sexy. The characVISION IN WHITE by Nora Roberts
My Thoughts: Now this is a romance novel! VISION IN WHITE is the perfect mix of romance, both sweet and sexy. The characters are amazing. Mac and Carter and the sweetest couple; Carter being an adorable, clumsy, nerdy teacher, while Mac is a successful pulled together, yet relationship shy, wedding photographer. This book flows perfect from Mac's job to her personal life, and both sides are just as entertaining. VISION IN WHITE is both funny and sweet, with a bit of sexy, tender, classy, and warm all thrown in. The friendship of the "quartet" is a nice bonus to this book and I love the interaction between the 4 of them, but this story really makes you want to keep reading to get to the next encounter between Mac and Carter, which is always what you're wanting it to be, and more. This is a real romance novel, pure and wonderful, without any crap. It's what all romance novels should strive to be. A beautifully perfect story with amazing characters that make you want to read more and more. I loved this book, it's definitely a keeper, and I can't wait to read the others in this series. :)

My Thoughts: This book opens with a scene from the past, which lets you in on the sad history of Manet Hall. The openingMIDNIGHT BAYOU by Nora Roberts
My Thoughts: This book opens with a scene from the past, which lets you in on the sad history of Manet Hall. The opening was very powerful and once the book switched to present day I immediately wondered more about what had happened long ago. One thing I loved about the layout of this book was that it went back and forth (small scenes, spaced out in moderation) to add more knowledge of the past events. That was something I enjoyed, as it would have driven me nuts not to get the whole story. The past and present day characters were wonderfully written, making the book a joy to read. This book could've stood on its characters alone, they really were the making of everything wonderful in this book. Past and present alike, they each had dynamic personalities that made you connect to them and relate to them. Another highlight was the attention given to the setting, from the "lively pace" of the city of New Orleans, to the haunting slow calm of the bayou, the picture painted was wonderful and complete, and made you feel like you were right there with them. On the other hand, I will admit that the paranormal aspect was a hit and miss with me. I am all for paranormal/supernatural, I love it, and mixed into a romance novel I figured that would be something new and interesting. And it was, for the most part, but any loss of "points" I'd give this book were due to the little bit of a stretch with the paranormal later in the book. The majority of it fit nicely into the novel and didn't seem out of place, but there is a line, and I feel it was a bit hit and miss towards the end. Would it have been even better without the paranormal? No. Would it have been better with a few choice changes to said paranormal? Yes. All in all this book was a great read, full of moments that were funny, sexy, devastating, tender, and fresh. Not your average romance, and one you won't regret picking up.
Favorite Quotes: "He'd explore that area another time, when he had a flashlight and a bag of bread crumbs." (Page 28) "He felt the amused curve of her lips against his and, running his hands up her back, into her hair, let himself drown." (Page74) Declan ~ "Excuse me, men don't faint. We do, on occasion, pass out or lose consciousness. But we do not faint." (Page 98) Lena ~ "Pleasure's nothing, sugar, unless you got the willpower to hold off until you really appreciate it." (Page 124) "This mysterious place with its slow-moving, shadowy water, its cypress bones and thick scents, was as much her world as the crooked streets and lively pace of the Quarter." (Page 167)
