There is nothing I love more than a book that makes me happy! This series is one of my favorites and each one has been fantastic. This one was no different. I am a sucker for people that love animals and Jill, you can see in the books, is one of those people.
In the last book you met Darcy, who had been in an accident and was very badly hurt and going through PT (Physical Therapy). You also met AJ who was her brother's best friend and her Physical Therapist. They were always butting heads and fighting.
Darcy and her brother and sister never had a real home to call their own unless they were at their grandparents house in Sunshine, they also had a hard time trusting people thanks to their parents. In Still the One you will find out what happened to Darcy, why AJ does what he does and you will find out just exactly how someone can overcome odds that were never in their favor.
This book has a lot of happy, some sad and even some moments where you want to pull out your hair because you are so mad. It takes a great author to be able to pull out these kind of emotions in one book and Jill did this flawlessly. I can NOT wait for the next one to come out and I know I am going to have to wait as patiently as I can LOL.

I generally don't seek out short stories, but Lia has a way of dragging me into her world immediately, investing me, and leaving me satisfied; all in under 50 pages. And all of this for someone who generally dislikes insta-love. :)
I loved this witty and sexy tale. Can't wait for more.
Sexy, snarky, cursed witch meets over Alpha werewolf descended from the goddess. What more could you want? :)
*Warning: These are shorts. They're super quick reads and set up to be a serial trilogy. Go in expecting the perfect distraction for your half hour lunch break, not an all-night reading extravaganza. :) ...more

Once again enter the darkly thrilling world of the Sons of Sangue and their rival MCs in the seductive third installment of Patricia A. Rasey's incredible Sons of Sangue series, chock full of sexy intrigue, suspense, subterfuge and revelation.
Like the previous book, Gypsy picks up where Hawk (book #2) left off, though this one doesn't read quite as well as a standalone seeing as a lot has happened in the last 2 books of the series. After Tamera made a grave error in book #2, Vlad has made an edict that Gypsy must either claim Tamera as his or relinquish his rights to her, never to have her again. In a fit of rage, he pushes her off onto Anton, only to almost immediately realize that he can't get the feisty redhead out of his system or off of his mind. And while Tamera knows she'd be better off with Blondy, she can't let go of her feelings for Gypsy either. Unfortunately, she has more than just her uncontrollable desire for Gypsy to deal with. Vlad is watching her like a hawk, making sure she doesn't screw up, she can't help hurting Blondy and it weighs heavily on her conscience, and her bad decision that led to her mating with Gypsy is coming back to bit her in the a$$ in a big way.
Amidst the maelstrom of want, need, desire, and danger, the Sons' rival (the Devils) is trying to claim additional territory and move cocaine through Draven's club, taking advantage of the Sons' decree for the Rave owner to stop selling and peddling Ecstasy. The book starts out immediately with heart-pounding action and violence, setting the tone beautifully for the mystery and suspense of the rest of the book. And the surprises! Oh the surprises in these books. I look forward to that next shoe dropping every single time! :)
Ms. Rasey writes a wickedly good paranormal tale that will have you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. After every new book, I wait impatiently for more of these delicious bad boys, and now that even more threads have been added to the world, I am chomping at the bit for book #4.
Highly recommended for paranormal romance, romantic suspense, and fans of alpha bad boy bikers far and wide....more
I will admit, I don't read a lot of M/M romance. The occasional one here and there for authors I follow. But this book was great in my honest opinion.I will admit, I don't read a lot of M/M romance. The occasional one here and there for authors I follow. But this book was great in my honest opinion. I didn't know what to expect. At all. I'm new to Taylor's work. What did I end up with? A fast-paced, sweet, subtly witty M/M PNR that felt naturally written and absolutely had me wanting more.
Jessie is like that preppy best friend that you had back in high school. Nice to everyone, striving to find himself, but constantly available for everyone else when needed. Ironically, his character, while the less alpha of the two protagonists, was also the more experienced, and I found that mix intriguing and endearing. Especially since he can't remember much about who he was/is for a large portion of the book.
Xander is my kind of hero. He's just alpha enough to make you know he's a strong male, but he has that adorably clueless male side that makes you giggle and shake your head while cheering him on and hoping he gets his HEA.
Throw those two together with some very human (and a few paranormal) insecurities, struggles, worries, wonders, and more, and you ultimately end up with a sweet, sexy, subtly witty tale of love and discovery.
I should also note that I hate insta-love. I just don't like it, but I tolerate it because it's necessary in PNR novellas. And while Jess and Xan fall in love super quick given the page count of Wrong Turn, I never groaned once. :) The conflict introduced with Jessie's accident basically making him a blank slate, and the fact that Xan knew almost right away that he and Jessie were Fated made it much more natural and palatable for me. And that's a hard thing to do. I'm a tough sell where that is concerned. LOL
I'm excited to learn more about the Shenandoa pack and their village. That was my only complaint with Wrong Turn. I wanted a bit more about the world and a tiny bit more backstory about the characters, but with that said, I didn't once feel lost or feel like I was missing anything integral to the story, and I struggled to find a way that the author could have given us that without a ton of extra word count and/or data dump*. I just wanted more, which is the sign of a good hook. :)
**P.S: after talking with the author, I've found out that additional information about the pack, the town, etc will be revealed with each book. So now I really need to keep reading. I suggest you give Wrong Turn a try and do the same. ...more
