The first time I read it, let's say I wasn't happy about the way some things happened, but now I'm older and can understand better the path taken by the author to make the final book more dark.
I liked the story, but mostly the way Harry is finally making sense in his dangerous assumptions of evil. Hermione and Rony made me sad sometimes, because they weren't believers, but Harry never questioned their friendship and I liked that in the final moment, they listened to Harry and made things better.
So this was a book to explain more about Lord Voldmort and make Harry understand what he has to fight, but most of all, this book showed a different side of Dumbledore and I liked that....more
The first book on this series was really good and now we get to see how Bella fulfills her fantasy since this hole thing was her idea.
This book was not what expected because we started thinking Bella’s fantasy was having sex with another women, but everything changed and now we get to see her with uber sexy Dom Kole.
At first it was a surprise for me because she doesn’t act much submissive but things turned better than ever after I realized that these two have a really great chemistry, plus he made her surrender in such a glorious way.
In the first book we met him and I got the felling we would be seeing him again, but not with Bella, since he’s desire for pain is very strong and in this book he was very gentle and not everything he could be because he wanted her so bad and since is her first time in BDSM he tried to be strong but not excessive.
I liked these two together and the spicy scenes were really good, plus Bella needed to deal with some issues from her past and Kole was the perfect person to help her.
I felt like this book was very much like 50 shades and after reading that and liking it, I decided to give it a try to this series after so much rave. Gideon is very handsome and more human than I thought at first glance.
The thing that kept me so engrossed n this story was the past of both characters. Because at first first the sound broken and barely alive, but the secrets are only disclosed after half the book and I was already intrigued by the sexual scenes. Gideon is still a mystery to me, but I keep waiting to know more.
I liked the relationship and how those two are trying and after awhile they realized that fighting is better than running. It took so guts for Gideon to keep coming back. Eva is a flawed character and he past is full of drama, but she still tries in life and love. Props for her.
One thing I didn’t enjoy was Cari. He’s relationship with Eva sounds more passionate than it seams and he doesn’t look like trying to survive, just hang by and it’s bringing Eva down with him. I hope he gets better in the next book and they can discover a normal friendship.
Now waiting to see how Gideon is going to handle Corrine and how Christopher is coming back to destroy Gideon “happiness”. Plus I think Nathan might return....more

Daemon is still amazing and very modest, but now we have Dawson back and everyone is worried about the DOD showing up and how to bring Beth back. Things are crazier than usual, but it’s to be expected with Dawson around.
I loved the first few books in this series, but to me this was has a few slow parts and sometimes lots of actions, so it made me realize, that it could have fewer pages, but a more linear story.
Ghosts from the past book decided to return and most of them wants something from Katy, blackmail is the key on this book and I was not happy with Dawson being like an addict and not thinking through at most book. Daemon is as always trying to be the superhero and save everyone.
I liked but it’s not my favorite, plus it ended in a cliff, witch I hate be the way!...more

This book is about friendship and solution of conflicts most off all. Annie was the daughter of the housekeeper and while growing up she had a good relationship with the family including Julia, the owners daughter, but that changed when both went to high school and gossip got in a way and bad things were said between those two.
Now is ten years later and Annie is working as pastry chef but she always dreamed of opening a cupcake shop, so when destiny put these two together once again they had to try reconnect and discovered what mistakes could be forgotten and forgiven.
I liked the fact that Annie’s and Julia’s thoughts were expressed to us in alternative chapters, so we could understand and actually see what happened in the past that changed this friendship.
Julia is currently in a bit of depression and the shop opening helped her to reconnected with her feelings and try to work better in expressing her thoughts and a few secrets.
Annie on the other end is in a wrong relationship and the shop and try to work with Julia is a lot in once but she also discovered a few secrets from the past and meet a important person.
I really loved this book, is sweet sometimes fun, but most of all is a beautiful story. ...more

Spooked By Love
Marnie James has been divorced for a short time and don’t want to be dumped again so she never been on a date after being single again. But everything changes when she meets a hot single daddy at her daughter’s Halloween party.
But there’s a catch, he’s only looking for fun! So while starting a new carrier she discover that have a date can be fun, especially after they keep meeting on different places at all time.
Very fun story that shows all the perks for going out after a disappointment.
Lindy Richards is trying to be all glamorous in her life, she has the perfect job as a manger on a chick boutique, but when her tights suffered a disaster encounter with the car door, she decided to jump on Save Land for a quick exchange and continue on her way to a blind date.
There’s a problem, she caught stuck on the changing room after closing time and worst of all, since she never managed to show on her date neither at home, her roommate called the police as missing person.
but when she was found on Save Land everything on her life changed upside down and I was really sad for her, but Lindy is very strong and managed to make the best of it all.
Ginny is starting to feel homesick after moving from her family home with her boyfriend for another state. Everything is great for him, but she doesn’t have a job yet and is really boring stay at home on Christmas.
Her family has a Christmas tradition and for her to miss everything and stay home alone is even harder. Her boyfriend is great and was so sweet and understanding with her that makes this a sad and sweet story.
When he made the perfect Christmas for her and tried to make her see that everything could be perfect if they learned to change some habits.
Tingle All The Way
Jessica lost her mother close to Christmas when she was no more than a baby and after that everything was different. Her father didn't celebrate so she never really bought all those happy memories that her friends speak about. But when a stranger trying to break in her neighbor window Christmas Eve and Jessica finds herself stuck with strange feelings toward a kids beliefs on Santa Klaus.
I liked this story especially because Jessica is Lindy’s sister (from Holiday Rush) and when can two different POVs from the same memory. Also the stranger helped a lot on Jessica search for the perfect Christmas.
Giving Up Guys
This story is about a group of friends, actually Ginny friends (from Missing Christmas). There are three girls tired from guys and their bad relationships so on New Years Eve they made a promise to don’t have a date until Valentines Day. To make all more easier they also decided to learn new things.
So Claire decides to learn Scuba diving but after a few lessons she gets dumped from class for not knowing how to properly swim and takes consolation on a bar. Every week she goes and meet a sweet bartender.
Lori takes upholstery class and suddenly finds herself with feelings for the sexy teacher, so they start to date, even if is “against” the rules. He doesn’t know about the promise.
Harper takes the easy way and joins belly dancing class, since no man ever learns this, she finds it easier than everything else, but what she doesn’t know is that this time there’s a man in class, because of a bet. And they started some private lessons, but no dates, because he knew about the promise.
The best part is when the girls meet on Valentines. Best story of the book for me....more

And I don’t regret it, because he’s so good.
At first I was a little confused because the time is a bit different and we get to understand things better as the book move along. The chapters are separated as now and the past in the tunnels. But the story is very engaging and I couldn’t put it down.
I don’t blame Nikki for her actions, because Cole took advantage off a girl tormented by her feelings and lost of a beloved person. She was alone and he used some powers to mix her thoughts, so for that I don’t like him. but toward the end my view changed and I don’t know now what to think of him, maybe in the next book will know more, if he’s really bad or something else.
Jack is a sweet guy and he certainly has great sentences. And we also have to take in considerate that he never gave up on searching for Nikki, isn’t it sweet? Anyway I’ll read the next one when released, and I loved this peace of hell on earth....more
I do love a good cowboy and after reading another Vivian Arend series and enjoying her writing style I decided to give this series a change and yell YI do love a good cowboy and after reading another Vivian Arend series and enjoying her writing style I decided to give this series a change and yell YO along with these pals.
This is the first book and we got to meet the family and see how they connect, but the best part is watch these fine gentleman seduce some poor women.
Jaxi was raised playing with the Colemans and has always been in love with their oldest, Blake, but he has some issues with the age difference and never acted on the serious chemistry between them. Jaxi has dated other man, and even another Coleman during some time, but she has her eyes set on Blake and when his mother needed her help it was all the necessary for her to make her move and seduce the fool.
The interesting part was the fact the hole family was well aware of their feelings and tried to help, making some serious jealous scenes happen on this fine town.
I liked these two together and some scenes were really good, plus we got to know about their pasts and some dreams for the future. Enjoyed this book and will definitely read the rest of this series.
Since last year I’ve been hearing great thoughts about Obsidian and I had the chance to read last month. I simply loved!! The action, the romance drama and the almost death of certain characters. I also liked the prequel and I found it very important to fully understand how bad the DOD can be and why Dawson disappeared.
This is the second book in the series and I’m very happy to say that the wait was not very long since it took me forever to start the first one to begin with. But I couldn’t wait to hear more from Daemon and all around the blogosphere they were talking about him.
So I bough on the release day and read last weekend, during the read-a-thon. I loved the name and how the author continued with the stones as the main factor and I have no idea how she found so many with an O.
The story started right where Obsidian ended and Daemon is trying to work in a relationship with Katy, but she thinks is only this new link between them that is messing with his emotions. He gets really romantic during some parts of the book and she gets more in love with him, plus he’s not the douchebag from the first book. Another plus.
But not everything is great and there’s a new guy in town. And he knows all about Katy new power, strange right, but she trust him and pushes Daemon away. This I really didn’t like it. She knows nothing about the guy and he proves to be dangerous several times, but she still trust him. So not cool.
The DOD is in town and things are really stressing, especially when Katy sees Bethany one day. Secrets started to be discovered and Katy’s life is once again in dangerous. But Daemon was so sweet on the end that everything can be forgiven.
I liked this book better then the first one, because the characters showed more feelings and sounded better, Katy can work in the police sometimes because she sure can find things when she wants....more

And that’s how he met Karen, when she was send to the mountains to help on the construction of a new hotel, but every night she got the visit from this strange man and they had amazing sex, one day when an avalanche happened Adrik saved Karen and kidnapped her to his tends.
But the Varinskis discovered about him and now Karen has to fight for her life and escape with Adrik.
I loved Adrik, he’s hunted by a death that occurred when he’s no more than a child and Karen actually helps him, is really to see how he reconnect with his past and also helps find the icon. Karen is strong and they match from the first moment. I think Adrik has the best women from the whole brothers. ...more

In this bookMy Thoughts: This is the last book in the Darkness Chosen series and now the Varinski is getting closer and now there’s one icon missing. In this book we met Douglas, the missing son from the Wilders and also discovered that he had a relationship with Firebird. Konstantine is barely alive and the time is almost done.
This book is very different from the other ones because everyone always though that Firebird was Konstantine daughter and to discover that her hole life people had lied to her was very difficult, and after that she also discovered that she had dated the son and ran away thinking he was another Varinski coming after her family.
Douglas loved Firebird but one day she simply disappeared and using all his means he started to search for her. In the middle of that he thinks Firebird was kidnapped by the Wilder and start to help the Varinski, full out trouble.
The action in this one was a bit different because everyone in the family was part of it and they needed to close a chapter and vanquish the evil. I liked this one and the pace was a bit slower than the other but very enjoyable. ...more
A couple of weeks ago I decided to read more erotica from my pile because I honestly missed some hard love. After reading Masters of Ménage series from Shayla Black and loving the way the pictures these relationships, I though to give a chance to the Wicked Lovers series. Several bloggers consider this book the better of the series and after reading it I can understand how the feel so connected. It’s very hardcore and with several scenes of romantic encounters. These two sure made me go all crazy for a happy ending. Morgan is hiding from a stalker when she met Jack, but she never expected him to made her feel some of her darkest dreams and even show her a different side of sex. The thing is Jack is a Master in BDSM and Morgan is interviewing him for the next season of her sex program and he brought alive her feelings and body like no one could ever do. But Jack has a different agenda and he’s only interested in seducing Morgan so that she betray her Fiancé and dumps the guy. Jack was once a friend with the guy and he’s wife betray him, so is like an eye for an eye and Morgan is only stuck in the middle of this revenge plot. But the best part is that Jack is a bodyguard and can protect her from the crazy stalker while teaching her some sex stories. The book is very sexual and the scenes were really well done, plus the action is a great deal and made everything more dangerous and fast. I liked how Morgan decided to trust her body and move to learn more about her sexuality and opened her mind. Also liked Jack, even thought he was stuck in a revenge, he’s character was very well done and he was still healing from the hurt. Great book....more

When I first saw this book, the cover alone made me want to read it, then I started reading several bloggers also wanting because the summary is great. Among several books about vampires and werewolves, this one is a fresh start for a series about mermaids, or syrena as they call themselves on the book.
This was perfect and it got me hooked since the first chapter. Mostly is set in Florida and we got to met Galen when Emma bumped into him, literally. He’s a prince on the waterworld and an ambassador with the humans, but only few actually know what he really is.
Emma was really fun to read and I enjoyed reading how she handled finding out about her true heritage and how she fell in love for the first time. This was fun and there’s also a bit of investigation, plus Galen is topless most of the book, can you really blame Emma for falling for him?
I loved the characters and Toraf was perfect, with his love story. And it was really different how the author focused on the secondary stories, that’s really important for me. Because Emma and Galen are not alone on the book and the friends supporting is very helpful in dangerous situations....more

From the first time I read the summary I feel in love for this story. Both characters had family problems and the way they live is a very expression on how that truly marked them.
Marlene is working on Charmeleon restaurant since her teenage years and is home for her, even if she struggles now to work with the chef. Her best friend owns the place is in the family for generations, but now situation is really difficult since her friend married a truly asshole and Marlie has to accept his orders.
When Olivia, Marlie’s friend discovers her husband cheating on her and files for divorce, the restaurant loses a chef. Marlie thinks that’s her chance to work as chef but Olivia calls Joe to help her out for a while.
I truly understand how Marlie gets upset, thinking that her friend doesn’t appreciate her because she doesn’t have a degree, and the way that she deals with her frustration is one night stand.
Joe on the other end is trying to change his life, from random women to a great job offer, but Marlie becomes more than a friend, and together they try to put the restaurant back on its feet and try to understand their feelings and how to live outside their normal....more
This is Keely book and she’s being waiting for her happy ending since book one and it was not a surprise for me when jack finally managed to get her.
This was such a good book and Jack is really good in the bedroom, or the floor. He’s definitely has charm when you through the exterior of polished greatness. Keely is a great girl and has no problem in creating a mess, she has five older brothers and had to stand up for herself.
The relationship between these two is growing since the last three books, but I never realized jack was so good, it was kinda boring to me compared to the cowboys, but he’s a good person and deserved to have a nice ad normal life after what his ex-fiancé did to him.
It was fun how these two decided to pretend an engagement to help in Jack’s job and how everything ended so good. Sparks fly and these two are great in getting back together....more

What first hooked me to this series was the covers. They’re pretty and also when you put paranormal beings living in the world and a girl as the only chance for society they continue to live things start to look more fun than ever.
Evie has never being normal, since her childhood the place she calls home is underground and hidden from society, can you imagine living like this? But it is all she has and they keep her save, plus she sees through the glamour. Crazy, hum?
Several paranormals are hiding in plain sight, they just chance how they look in front of humans and only Evie can see and force them to work for her agency, IPCA.
But things are not that simple in her life and she has a stalker ex-boyfriend that is a bit disturbing; a new guy who nobody knows nothing about it and her best friend is a mermaid.
But not all are flowers and some paranormal are being killed by a strange thing and Evie is caught in the middle of the investigation.
The book really fun and has a sweet romance, definily will read the next one in this series, because the world is very well written and need to know how Evie is doing with normal life....more
This series is so much fun and the adventures just make things more interesting. We got to see more of Kylie and her very strange and dangerous love life. Between an werewolf and the his pact against the romance things get really ugly.
But Kylie is also in the middle of an investigation related with the newest ghost appearing for her, but I liked how things are turning and we got news of Kylie family and what she really is.
It was strange at first to understand Kylie power and also to see how dangerous her life can be with a crazy vampire hunting her for a romance and his coven meddling over the future.
This book better than the others, but so difficult to explain without telling a few spoilers. I liked how strong Kylie became since she went to Shadow Falls on the first book and she’s getting better at helping the ghosts and understanding how to discover the past of her family....more

I just love him and how he just wants to be with her, without judging and running for the hills.
But this book had a bunch of new information's and it feels like it ended too fast. Gin is picking Mab's men and silently destroying her army, but Mab is the best at being bad and she paid another assassin to end with this nonsense.
Just loved seeing this deadly side of Mab and how much is bothering her what Gin is doing. Plus there’s more evil than ever, because La Fleur, the other assassin, is also an elemental and she’s loves the thrill of a new death.
But on the sidelines we have Gin struggling to talk with Bria and is adorable the way she, Gin-assassin, doesn’t know what to do. I just loved the end and Christmas is one of my favorite times in books. Everything ends in a big party with lots of drinking....more
