This is the future and the world is divided in three species, The Psy, who can control almost anything related to the mind; The Humans, that looks to be just like us and weren’t really a subject that important in this book; Changeling, the shifters that can assume a animal form during any time they wish.
So the future is all about power and the Psy are currently fighting to control everything, but in some areas there’s more difficulty. The book showed us the story of San Francisco area and how these two species are working together and why is important to have all this power.
So we Sascha and at first I though she was a very confusing girl, but them I realized she’s not like the rest of the psy, with cold and very computerized minds that emotions are not allowed and is strange to see family links.
Of course she met Lucas and he’s exactly the opposite of her, he’s a changeling and is working to make his pact a very dominating in the area, but is also trying to stop the psy.
I liked this couple since the very start, because there’s chemistry and more than just lust, but mostly is the fact his cat knew she was important to him and made damn sure to fight for it.
Great first book and this series is very promising.

Payne we met previously in this series and this is her story, but it felt like it was V and Doc Jane book two. There was way too much DR between this couple and after they found each other, I really thought things wereperfect, but V is messed up so a relationship is really difficult for him.
After discovering that Payne was his sister, V kinda lost it, but the book is also about Doc Manello helping Payne walk again and their love story. Nothing too complicated and he didn't even changed, so a failure to me.
We also got some new and very badass vampires coming to town and creating all kinds of drama with the glymera, making everything more difficult for Wrath in the near future.(less)

Okay these two species are somewhat similar, but they have so strong personalities that it was almost impossible to see them both together without a lot of fight.
The world is crazier than ever and we see the seed of a revolution inside the PsyNet, but of course the councilors are trying to stop all sort of manifestation and killing anyone involved with the so called break.
But there’s also lots of sexy scenes and we see the beginning of a new great romance. At first it was strange how they could overcome rules and their own pact. But I actually loved these two.
Mercy is strong and very capable, she works directly with Lucas and is very important to the pact, but also a very alpha woman that needed a even more stronger male to surrender.
Riley was a very closed person and we know how much he suffered trying to save his sister. But we could discover during the book, he feels guilty for what happened and nobody knew about his secrets.

The couple was a bit too frost for my taste and I wanted to love more because Dev was such a great guy.
Katya was such a strong girl but in this book she lost her appeal to me and became a bit boring, but I liked the fact she fought all the way to retrieve her memories and tried to make the right thing. I just didn’t connect with her.
Dev was smart enough not to trust her without some precautions. I liked that about him, but he just left some sense along the book and followed her like a puppy to points deserted. Not my favorite action.
I liked the final. It was surprising and very different, plus the changelings are back. Just wish Councilor Ming was death already.

I believe people say this because he’s the youngest and has no chance of assuming the crown, but his also the expert of flaying in the family. He’s very passionate about planes and the desert, which made him the perfect person to be responsible for the new Air Force that has been the talk for the last few books.
Billie is actually the perfect girl for him, because she’s carefree and her job is to teach pilots the offensive maneuvers in the sky. She spent her life flying and loves everything connected planes, but she’s very girlie and also loves shopping.
I liked this couple and how Jefri accepted his love and had to fight to be together with Billie. She’s just a normal regular girl and he had ordered a marriage of convenience and now had to deal with a fiancé and the love of his life.
The best part to me was discovering that the king was behind these love stories, it made me remember another romance series that I love written by Nora Roberts, Macgregor's.(less)

And that how she end up in Morganville, where things are very different at night.
After everything she’s been through with those mean popular girls one especially bad day makes her decides to change things. And no we are not talking about revenge, Claire is a sweet girl after all, she’s just trying to run and find a new place to stay because the dorm seams impossible.
That’s how she finds herself in a lot of trouble. Things are very different on the city and the house where she finds a place to stay people are specially complicated.
I found this book a good surprise, but them it must be good since the author is already writing the #12. After so much talking and writing about vampires I can’t stop reading about them. For years I’ve loved Buffy and in those times vampires didn’t had the same status as now. And after so many good books this one was special. The world is well written and the characters have guts and strong minds.
Can I just say that I loved Michael since the first page but Shane not so much. And Eve is perfect. In a town where everyone is afraid of the vampires or just following the rules, she made them look ridiculous and decided to be unique. (less)
A couple of weeks ago I decided to read more erotica from my pile because I honestly missed some hard love. After reading Masters of Ménage series from Shayla Black and loving the way the pictures these relationships, I though to give a chance to the Wicked Lovers series. Several bloggers consider this book the better of the series and after reading it I can understand how the feel so connected. It’s very hardcore and with several scenes of romantic encounters. These two sure made me go all crazy for a happy ending. Morgan is hiding from a stalker when she met Jack, but she never expected him to made her feel some of her darkest dreams and even show her a different side of sex. The thing is Jack is a Master in BDSM and Morgan is interviewing him for the next season of her sex program and he brought alive her feelings and body like no one could ever do. But Jack has a different agenda and he’s only interested in seducing Morgan so that she betray her Fiancé and dumps the guy. Jack was once a friend with the guy and he’s wife betray him, so is like an eye for an eye and Morgan is only stuck in the middle of this revenge plot. But the best part is that Jack is a bodyguard and can protect her from the crazy stalker while teaching her some sex stories. The book is very sexual and the scenes were really well done, plus the action is a great deal and made everything more dangerous and fast. I liked how Morgan decided to trust her body and move to learn more about her sexuality and opened her mind. Also liked Jack, even thought he was stuck in a revenge, he’s character was very well done and he was still healing from the hurt. Great book.(less)
