I really liked Candice, she was a string girl and the challenges just pushed her more to fight back and keep going. It was great seeing her toughen up and prepare to battle to save her friend. Not everyone would do it, but she face it with a lot of strength. Along the way we got to meet Vince and discovered a jaded guy with emotions and a good heart and I liked seeing him helping Candice and fighting for the true, he’s a great guy and needed to see this investigation end with a positive outcome.
I really liked the mystery and would definitely indicate for people that like surprises along with danger....more

He loved Audrey like a little sister but had no idea she had a very different feeling for him and they shared a super hot night together, the problem he didn’t remember the woman in question and Audrey was completely hurt about it.
So after a few awkward moments she accepted to work in the ranch and let it go, but she was still in love with him and after some help from a friend, operation seduction started. Luke had no idea Audrey was the perfect woman he shared a very hot night. But once Luke discovered we can clearly see he’s afraid and decided to run from his mistake, so no happy ending for those two, but Audrey was pregnant and things changed quite a lot after that.
I really loved Audrey, she has strength and a lot of hard work, but she’s not a little princess waiting for her prince. She works and follow her life, because Luke is clearly oblivious to her love. I loved these two finding a half way. Luke needed someone strong and Audrey was perfect for him....more

The story is not really related, but the boys are present in this story, plus we see a bit of the couple from the first book and it’s explained a bit about their relationship, nothing to extensive.
Lucky is actually a really nice guy and I liked the way he decided to change his life and enjoy more the country life after fighting in war and being a marine, but is definitely a change that he welcomed. His family is having some problems with money and he can help, so it’s nothing surreal for him to return home, but the best parrt is meeting Taylor again. He’s kinda in love with her for awhile, but their realtionship never worked and they are better as friends with benefits since Lucky is best friends with her brother.
I liked Taylor and completely understood her reasons for fighting and breaking chains. Her family is a bit too much and she just wanted freedom and being herself. But she’s so good with Lucky, plus she’s had a crush on him since forever.
I liked these two as a couple and she's very adventurous so that makes her perfect for Lucky. Really nice book and I’ll read the first one very soon....more

I read the entire series of Dark Protectors and needed another book from Rebecca Zanetti, lucky for me she also write romances and I jumped on the chance to read this series. Her cowboys are so hot and very intelligent too. I have no idea how the manage to work and fix the farm too, but they have independent life’s. This first book introduced the family Lodge. They are more than just cowboys, they have indian blood and are very honored of the heritance.
Sophie was such a nice girl and I really liked her. I had my doubts about her relationship with Jake along the book, but she was great with the family and we can clearly see her past is a little confusing for her. Jake has a dark past because of his ex-wife and now he raises his daughter with the help of his family, but he’s very successful lawyer and is kinda against Sophie at first but things took a turn and these two are good together.
I loved this family and can’t wait for more Lodge falling in love....more

I was never a fan of Shane and neither his father, but seeing what the old man is capable of only for revenge was the supreme nonsense. I clearly see what Claire is trying to do in saving Shane because he's mostly lost and needs a guidance....more

It was nice seeing Michael and Eve having a time alone with adventures, even if on the dangerous side, with vampires of course.

He was deeply afted with his sister death and it plagues him until today to talk about the subject. I liked how we got to know more and see Monica doing her bitch thing again was super nice.
She was once super hot for Shane but after seeing what she was capable of a little fire looked like nothing, so it was no problem for Shane to think she had something to do with it. Nice novella....more

There’s something very exciting for me about a mythology book. It’s really fun to see how an author will use all those great Gods and change things so that a history can be created.
This book was no different and I really liked Plato. He has attitude and follow his own rules. He had a bad time working with the Gods and decided to open his own Investigation Practice, but things are not so great and the money is short, still he doesn’t accept the offer from the Gods to start a gig for them.
I liked this story because all those different cases were actually connected and Plato is really good in following the links and discovering new things about those Gods. He’s kinda fearless and never backs down, but he uncovers a few secrets and makes a couple of enemies along the way, but the investigation is actually fun to follow and Plato was a great mind.
This is a good first book and I’ll definitely follow this series. ...more

Since this was actually the prequel and we only got to meet the family, it was a little fast the amount of the surprises and gossip that we received, but I hope we get to see more of the family and understand their reasons for fighting so much.
The love couple in this book is actually the least of my thoughts because I didn’t really connected with Anton and not gonna lie how much it disturbed me the way he lied and used Emily, to in the end discover after two days that they are soul mates and belong together after everything he’s being through the amount of hate he still have....more

I don’t like Taryn and how much she became lost in this relationship with Gabe, because came on can’t she see that it’s clear he likes Ellie and she’s just a fling, but Brooke that actually likes her it’s pushed to the corner.
Evan is getting really good in this strange world and becoming a really nice character to follow, but still needs to learn a few things with Brinley to actually own the news....more

It was a bit confusing for me the POVs, I liked that could chose and how much it shoed inside the girls mind, but it was a bit too much reading 4 different people reactions for one single night.
I liked the story. It’s full of intrigue and suspicious. These girl are like dynamite and everything it’s a point for explosion. I liked the drama, but it was so fun seeing how much these girls could lie and get away with everything.
I liked Evan more than them other girls, she sound more normal and less trouble maker than the rest of the bunch, but they are so evil together, it’s like a TV show where every problem could be easily changed for the right price and words. Taryn was a bit to naïve for being raised in California and her father was a governor, but she learned real fast how to save herself in DC right? Brinley was the only one that I actually thinks has the right mind for a DC girl, always thinking about her next move and getting the best place ever. Ellie was a bit too boring for me, with her problems and her sensitivity.
I liked the setting too, because it’s so fun to see things happening in DC where all the drama unfold....more

So I was so anxious to read that it jumped in the front of a few others and I don’t regret it.
There’s not a lot about tennis or any other sports in the story, for me is more about intrigue and backstabbing than anything. I felt like this was more like Gossip Girl, but so good. I liked Maya and Cleo and this two are the most amazing characters. Maya is motivated to be the best and of course be friends with her idol Nicole was a dream come true. But Cleo is more down to Earth and just needs to be best to help her family. They are both from scholarship and showed two very different sides of how much career means when confronted with everything else.
On the very other side we have two brothers and the romance is a very important side of this high school, sometimes I felt like this people didn't trained enough with the amount of time they spent dating and partying, but this book was actually really good. And I’m hopefully waiting this series continues....more

I have a few issues with this cover and if you're following this series, we both now this is so not a guy. But anyway I missed Gwen in this little novella and it’s actually funny, but I never hated Logan, even after everything he did in the last book, I’m not saying what!!
Logan is actually perfect, because he never knows about anything and he was clearly betrayed, so more pity and that is exactly what he’s running from. He is in love with Gwen but after the way he acted and how much he was hurt her, it’s actually understandable seeing him trying to put some distance between them, but I liked knowing his doubts and he’s clearly trying to get back on his feet.
So this was a nice little insight to Logan POV and I liked seeing him torn about Gwen....more
