Don’t get me wrong the stories are beautiful and there’s so much drama. But they are worth it. Brenda Novak made a little town full of romance and emotions.
Cheyenne was not my favorite from the group, mostly because we barely see her before this book and Dylan wasn’t even mentioned before, but these two are actually so pretty together. They are both outsiders, suffered so much and now are so normal.
I liked Dylan more, maybe because his life was more difficult, he had to grow up alone and find a way to support his four brothers, but he also had love.
Cheyenne suffered way to much in Anita’s hand and I cannot believe everything her family made her go through. But even after all these she’s a nice girl and thinks more of others. She deserved some happiness and Dylan was perfect because he understand her like no one else. I cried way to much with this couple but it was so good.(less)

That’s why the king asked hm to mate with Brenna, to unite even more the vampires with the witches.
Brenna is in a bad shape and can’t acess her powers anymore, she has a few more months of life and this mating is possibly the last chance she has to fight the poison inside her, but Jase also has a problem and since he was kidnapped he can control the elements. This mating was supposed to help the both, but things are not that sinple and now everybody is after Brenna.
I liked this book so much. It was amazing seeing all the Kayrs family again and Jase was such a ncie guy even after everything. Brenna was a huge help for him, and these two are so cute together. The war is still going strong, but the demons and the kurjans are losing more each day.(less)

This one was not different and I fell in love with Nikki and Tor romance. They are so different in the first chapters but after a super hot night together we can see Nikki is really a demi-goddess and she showed her powers right and left.
I loved getting to know Nikki during this book, she’s sweet and very normal girl, but we can see that her life is more than just beauty contests, plus she’s in love with her boss Tor. After a reunion we can see Tor is really drunk or high, but the point is he spent a really hot night Nikki and never remembered a thing afterwards, so Nikki became a bit angry and being the daughter of Ares things progressed really fast to disaster.
I loved seeing Nikki discovering this different side of her life and meeting the Gods, Ares was so much more than I expected and Aphrodite is super nice. She just wants a normal life, but Nikki discovered things are more than normal and Tor became a nice thing to add to the madness.
I loved this plot and wish this could became a series, I liked the Gods personalities and it would be nice seeing the other Gods too.(less)

I was really fascinated with Robin way of writing and fell in love with Mick and Piper.
Piper is just the girl next door and I loved how wild she became with Mick. She fell in love with the bad boy and discovered a nice guy. Mick is such a nice guy, but in Hollywood life is really different and now we can see he was betrayed more than once.
This was more than just a romance and I liked how people can really relate to Piper, she’s just a sweetheart and had her heart broken once by another actor, but the sparks were so big that she couldn’t let it go.
So they had more than just one night stand and the relationship evolved, but Piper didn’t wanted something more and I liked how Mick started the changes. But not everything was perfect and the paparazzi were not so great.
But I really enjoyed these two together and how much Mick fought for his love.(less)

I liked Jake, but I really loved Beth. She’s caring and have been throught so much in this past two years, but handled everything so weel, even after the entire band moved to her house. This story is actually set in Australia and I love to travel in the romances and met different countries, but this book was more like a one scenerio theme.
Everything is handled from inside Beth house after Jake made it look like they are secretly engaged, just because he’s jeaulous off Beth relationhip with her ex, strange right and now you are wondering what he has to do with those two?
Beth’s ex is now marrying Jake’s half-sister, but the problem is more than just that because his sister has no idea about the family link and thinks his just the boss. Crazy story, but I loved the romance and Jake is just a great guy that sufered a lot, so he deserved a nice girl.(less)

So Chloe is the Nice twin and had been in love with Jake for about twenty years, but he pretend not to see and only look at her like a sister. He was kinda raised with the Sullivans and Zach is his best friend, but after the way his father treated him, he thinks poorly of himself and doesn’t really see as okay for him to go after Chloe.
But she decided to take matters in her own hands and during Chase wedding she just changed and went from Nice to Naughty with a few brushes of make up and a very sexy dress. There was no way Jake could let that pass, a big brother thing, but his hormones were bigger than him and they kinda had sex.
But only two months after Chloe discovered the pregnancy and everything really changed for these two. I liked Jake and his reasons sound plausible, but his a nice guy and deserved a really sweet girl, so Chloe was perfect for him.(less)

The thing is I read the first three full novels in a roll and even hunted the novellas afterwards, so I had nothing but waiting until this final book release date. And The Prince ended in a cliffhanger so my mind was going crazy with all those ideas and turns this book could deliver. But the reality was even better.
You can ask me why, but the answer would be way to big, so without spoilers my review is only about the awesomess of this installment. We have Nora remembering some of her hot nights and even better, we can finally understand the real relationship between Soren and Kingsley. Think that’s enough? Remember Wesley? So he got some happiness too. I’m not saying how or with who, but I got the idea of his future really fast.
The best addition to this series was Grace Easton. We’ve only heard about her, but this time se actually shows and I liked her attitude and impulsiveness. Plus she’s a really smart woman and she helped a lot after Nora was kidnapped. I was so happy seeing all those favorite characters again and this book brought some closure to a few points. So now we only have to wait for the new series. (less)

But these two are so good together and we actually see there’s some future for them.
We met Linda while she was in captive, one of the girls supposed to be sold as slaves and after hearing how much she was helping the other girls, I got the feeling she was a very strong woman, but only reading this book I could actually understand how much she suffered in those places and she was never really into BDSM.
Her first night and she was kidnapped, so it kinda got in mind that this was not her place, but Sam didn’t gave up and she came so hard with some pain that we could see with no doubt that her life was incomplete before meeting Sam.
But there’s other problems and Linda is not completely save, so Sam decided to help her and we got some insight about this dark and quiet man. I was never really his biggest fan, but this book was insightful and I liked knowing more about his past and seeing the changes Linda brought into his life.(less)

Let’s face it, this was the most emotional book in the series, maybe because it’s the last one, or maybe because Chris suffered so much and he deserved a happy ending. And I hoping for some babies and weddings and of course and bad guy too.
Maybe I’m lunatic, but Chris has been through a lot in last year and a half, so a do over in a relationship was more than necessary and we all got to see that Julie was also facing a few demons after some stuff happened in her childhood, but these two are so cute together. They helped each other heel and are such nice couple.
I had a few thoughts along the book of who was responsible for the deaths and was so nervous in the last chapters after I realized he would get Julie, I definitely cheering for Chris to show up and save the day. This was my favorite book and I want more of this family, maybe the next generation?(less)
The first book on this series was really good and now we get to see how Bella fulfills her fantasy since this hole thing was her idea.
This book was not what expected because we started thinking Bella’s fantasy was having sex with another women, but everything changed and now we get to see her with uber sexy Dom Kole.
At first it was a surprise for me because she doesn’t act much submissive but things turned better than ever after I realized that these two have a really great chemistry, plus he made her surrender in such a glorious way.
In the first book we met him and I got the felling we would be seeing him again, but not with Bella, since he’s desire for pain is very strong and in this book he was very gentle and not everything he could be because he wanted her so bad and since is her first time in BDSM he tried to be strong but not excessive.
I liked these two together and the spicy scenes were really good, plus Bella needed to deal with some issues from her past and Kole was the perfect person to help her.
I felt like this book was very much like 50 shades and after reading that and liking it, I decided to give it a try to this series after so much rave. Gideon is very handsome and more human than I thought at first glance.
The thing that kept me so engrossed n this story was the past of both characters. Because at first first the sound broken and barely alive, but the secrets are only disclosed after half the book and I was already intrigued by the sexual scenes. Gideon is still a mystery to me, but I keep waiting to know more.
I liked the relationship and how those two are trying and after awhile they realized that fighting is better than running. It took so guts for Gideon to keep coming back. Eva is a flawed character and he past is full of drama, but she still tries in life and love. Props for her.
One thing I didn’t enjoy was Cari. He’s relationship with Eva sounds more passionate than it seams and he doesn’t look like trying to survive, just hang by and it’s bringing Eva down with him. I hope he gets better in the next book and they can discover a normal friendship.
Now waiting to see how Gideon is going to handle Corrine and how Christopher is coming back to destroy Gideon “happiness”. Plus I think Nathan might return.(less)

But I have to say it was even better than what I hoped for and I dived into this story, not even the pages keep me away. I loved Gail and Simon for very different reasons. He’s trying to be bad, but at the heart we can clearly see he’s just hurt. And Gail it’s such a good person, but also have some dark spots on her life.
These two as a couple was perfect, because we can see the connection since the start. Gail is public relations and they were supposed to get married for only two years, enough time to get the media off his back and believing he changed and became the good guy, all this because he wanted some visitation rights with his kid from a previous marriage, but everything turned better than I even expected because Gail is such a nice girl, but she can put a guy to his place without a problem.
There’s all the right thing in this story. Little town, friends meddling and a perfect couple with some issues from the past. loved this book and will dive into the rest of the series ASAP.(less)
This is not my first read in this series, but don’t worry they are all good stand-alone. Several short books with very spicy encounters. I love a good erotica, but these books are mostly all about a good sex and a fun night.
These one was actually a good surprise because the two characters had a relationship while in high school and previously had feelings for each other. Rebecca is very successful in her job but is still in love with her high school boyfriend, so since him no boy has ever made her feel the same way. A friend of her made her sign for the 1 Night Stand program for a night of fun.
Luke left town and joined the army but now he’s back and never considered that the women meeting him for a 1 Night Stand would be his ex-girlfriend. So now he has one more chance to make things right and this night is all about forgiveness.
I loved the way both characters are still in love and trying to understand how to move forward after all these years, plus the sex was crazy good.(less)

If you guys don’t know yet I love books centered in magic and this one was a perfect catch. A girl finding her powers after being accepted for a school that she never applied. Sounds familiar? I thought of Harry Potter too when I first read the summary and that made me want to read Rae’s story.
There’s a huge difference between Rae and Harry. She’s smart and fight to discover things of her past and why nothing makes sense toward her parents live. Her acceptance in the school is at first really easy, and everyone try to make her happy and be her friends, but we can also see that Rae doesn’t trust in all the pretty faces around and oh boy, she was right.
As the book tell us, Rae’s parents story and we try to see what tatù she was going to have. I felt connect with her character and bravery, plus she had to struggle to accept this new and very much different life. So it was really fun to read this YA book.
I loved her tatù and her final battle was really awesome. I just hope once her power start to grow, she realize that her choices not always will make everyone happy.(less)

Reading Challenge 2012. There’s also another plus, Harlequin makes great books with babies and sometimes we just want to read a HEA.
This one is no exception, and there’s even two babies. Nick Falco has only one rule for his love live, no sex with employees and that’s what happened in this book. Plus he has some mutant chromosomes because the twins are so his fault and a copy of his dimples.
I loved how Nick struggled first to accept the truth but also started to see his life with kids and started to enjoy this change. It was very fun to read how he took care of the babies and also decided to change his life. For a womanizer this was a serious change but he was so sweet with the babies and change diapers from two is very difficult at first. Fun read and a bit sweet too. (less)
This is a hot book! I was expecting a paranormal romance with some steamy scenes and a lot of kissing, but this book was good surprise.
Chance has given up on primal-mate simply because his father suffered a lot after his mother died. And the way his brother treated him, blaming and pushing made things even harder.
Now he’s the alpha of LIIA and for years his pack is trying to arrest and stop a crazy wolf that has killed both, humans and lycan. That’s how Chance met Olivia. She has a wildlife preserve and the crazy wolf has been attacking her animals.
I loved how the author handled the discovering's and the relationship between Chance and Olivia. He’s trying to save her but she is trying to forget her adulterous husband and lies are not the best thing. Plus there’s a chemistry between these two that is extreme.
The sexual scenes were more than I expected taking in consideration Chance pack lives a very human life. A great thing to overpower the suspense and the crazy wolf killing past time. I liked this book, but wish it were a little bigger.(less)

This book is about friendship and solution of conflicts most off all. Annie was the daughter of the housekeeper and while growing up she had a good relationship with the family including Julia, the owners daughter, but that changed when both went to high school and gossip got in a way and bad things were said between those two.
Now is ten years later and Annie is working as pastry chef but she always dreamed of opening a cupcake shop, so when destiny put these two together once again they had to try reconnect and discovered what mistakes could be forgotten and forgiven.
I liked the fact that Annie’s and Julia’s thoughts were expressed to us in alternative chapters, so we could understand and actually see what happened in the past that changed this friendship.
Julia is currently in a bit of depression and the shop opening helped her to reconnected with her feelings and try to work better in expressing her thoughts and a few secrets.
Annie on the other end is in a wrong relationship and the shop and try to work with Julia is a lot in once but she also discovered a few secrets from the past and meet a important person.
I really loved this book, is sweet sometimes fun, but most of all is a beautiful story. (less)

A very well written short story. I usually don’t like when there’s only few pages on a book but this one was a bit addictive and I was actually looking forward to the end and to find out if they were going to be together. Crazy right?
This was a good surprise. Julie wanted to have what every other girl does, a normal sexual life the only problem for her is her virginity. So she hires a company specialized in dates as the said 1 Night Stand.com.
Mark is a normal guy who dates a lot, and his married friends consider him a womanizer, and truth is he’s kinda happy with his life and his friends dare him to join the same company Julie did.
They never met and only dated with one propose in mind (sex), so these two actually met in a hotel in Las Vegas (perfect place!!) and is kinda awkward in the very begging since they don’t know how to proceed but once one kiss is shared is like everything is set in motion and they have chemistry together.
The sex scene was very good and I liked how sweet Mark was about her virginity, another plus. In the end I was hoping the story could go on, since it was very good.(less)

Spooked By Love
Marnie James has been divorced for a short time and don’t want to be dumped again so she never been on a date after being single again. But everything changes when she meets a hot single daddy at her daughter’s Halloween party.
But there’s a catch, he’s only looking for fun! So while starting a new carrier she discover that have a date can be fun, especially after they keep meeting on different places at all time.
Very fun story that shows all the perks for going out after a disappointment.
Lindy Richards is trying to be all glamorous in her life, she has the perfect job as a manger on a chick boutique, but when her tights suffered a disaster encounter with the car door, she decided to jump on Save Land for a quick exchange and continue on her way to a blind date.
There’s a problem, she caught stuck on the changing room after closing time and worst of all, since she never managed to show on her date neither at home, her roommate called the police as missing person.
but when she was found on Save Land everything on her life changed upside down and I was really sad for her, but Lindy is very strong and managed to make the best of it all.
Ginny is starting to feel homesick after moving from her family home with her boyfriend for another state. Everything is great for him, but she doesn’t have a job yet and is really boring stay at home on Christmas.
Her family has a Christmas tradition and for her to miss everything and stay home alone is even harder. Her boyfriend is great and was so sweet and understanding with her that makes this a sad and sweet story.
When he made the perfect Christmas for her and tried to make her see that everything could be perfect if they learned to change some habits.
Tingle All The Way
Jessica lost her mother close to Christmas when she was no more than a baby and after that everything was different. Her father didn't celebrate so she never really bought all those happy memories that her friends speak about. But when a stranger trying to break in her neighbor window Christmas Eve and Jessica finds herself stuck with strange feelings toward a kids beliefs on Santa Klaus.
I liked this story especially because Jessica is Lindy’s sister (from Holiday Rush) and when can two different POVs from the same memory. Also the stranger helped a lot on Jessica search for the perfect Christmas.
Giving Up Guys
This story is about a group of friends, actually Ginny friends (from Missing Christmas). There are three girls tired from guys and their bad relationships so on New Years Eve they made a promise to don’t have a date until Valentines Day. To make all more easier they also decided to learn new things.
So Claire decides to learn Scuba diving but after a few lessons she gets dumped from class for not knowing how to properly swim and takes consolation on a bar. Every week she goes and meet a sweet bartender.
Lori takes upholstery class and suddenly finds herself with feelings for the sexy teacher, so they start to date, even if is “against” the rules. He doesn’t know about the promise.
Harper takes the easy way and joins belly dancing class, since no man ever learns this, she finds it easier than everything else, but what she doesn’t know is that this time there’s a man in class, because of a bet. And they started some private lessons, but no dates, because he knew about the promise.
The best part is when the girls meet on Valentines. Best story of the book for me.(less)
