I believe people say this because he’s the youngest and has no chance of assuming the crown, but his also the expert of flaying in the family. He’s very passionate about planes and the desert, which made him the perfect person to be responsible for the new Air Force that has been the talk for the last few books.
Billie is actually the perfect girl for him, because she’s carefree and her job is to teach pilots the offensive maneuvers in the sky. She spent her life flying and loves everything connected planes, but she’s very girlie and also loves shopping.
I liked this couple and how Jefri accepted his love and had to fight to be together with Billie. She’s just a normal regular girl and he had ordered a marriage of convenience and now had to deal with a fiancé and the love of his life.
The best part to me was discovering that the king was behind these love stories, it made me remember another romance series that I love written by Nora Roberts, Macgregor's....more

And that how she end up in Morganville, where things are very different at night.
After everything she’s been through with those mean popular girls one especially bad day makes her decides to change things. And no we are not talking about revenge, Claire is a sweet girl after all, she’s just trying to run and find a new place to stay because the dorm seams impossible.
That’s how she finds herself in a lot of trouble. Things are very different on the city and the house where she finds a place to stay people are specially complicated.
I found this book a good surprise, but them it must be good since the author is already writing the #12. After so much talking and writing about vampires I can’t stop reading about them. For years I’ve loved Buffy and in those times vampires didn’t had the same status as now. And after so many good books this one was special. The world is well written and the characters have guts and strong minds.
Can I just say that I loved Michael since the first page but Shane not so much. And Eve is perfect. In a town where everyone is afraid of the vampires or just following the rules, she made them look ridiculous and decided to be unique. ...more
A couple of weeks ago I decided to read more erotica from my pile because I honestly missed some hard love. After reading Masters of Ménage series from Shayla Black and loving the way the pictures these relationships, I though to give a chance to the Wicked Lovers series. Several bloggers consider this book the better of the series and after reading it I can understand how the feel so connected. It’s very hardcore and with several scenes of romantic encounters. These two sure made me go all crazy for a happy ending. Morgan is hiding from a stalker when she met Jack, but she never expected him to made her feel some of her darkest dreams and even show her a different side of sex. The thing is Jack is a Master in BDSM and Morgan is interviewing him for the next season of her sex program and he brought alive her feelings and body like no one could ever do. But Jack has a different agenda and he’s only interested in seducing Morgan so that she betray her Fiancé and dumps the guy. Jack was once a friend with the guy and he’s wife betray him, so is like an eye for an eye and Morgan is only stuck in the middle of this revenge plot. But the best part is that Jack is a bodyguard and can protect her from the crazy stalker while teaching her some sex stories. The book is very sexual and the scenes were really well done, plus the action is a great deal and made everything more dangerous and fast. I liked how Morgan decided to trust her body and move to learn more about her sexuality and opened her mind. Also liked Jack, even thought he was stuck in a revenge, he’s character was very well done and he was still healing from the hurt. Great book....more
Is interesting but this was the first urban fantasy book that I’ve read this year and I have to say that I missed some of the crazy world and the action packed story. Last year I read the Chicagoland vampires and fell in love with the strong and capable woman in charge. This book made me remember how much I love a strong women leading the fight, they are always more perceptive and everyone think less of them and of course is always a surprise when they start fighting back. And one thing that Kate is good at is fighting. The book is all about Kate investigating her “uncle” murderer and she has to face some very dark and powerful beings making fighting the very last thing that saves her life over and over. She has some strange powers that were not fully explained in this book but I have faith in this series after this first book and expect some explanations about her past and her secrets. She hides and only accept jobs as a mercenaries, but she’s very good with magic too and could by part of the Order, her only problem is following rules and working in a group, but I think she managed just fine with the Pack and of course Curran. Curran is the Pack leader and alpha in charge, but there seams to be something different in him, just like Kate, hiding something too. There’s also some sexual attraction between these two. The world was very strange and destroyed, not like things we know now, and that part made me a little confuse at first, but in the end we understood better the magic and how things could change so fast. I liked the investigation and how Kate tried and didn’t succeeded to work solo. She has to accept that sometimes friends can come to your rescue and that’s not a bad thing. I really liked the book. ...more

Maya Banks is really great in creating menage series, her books fell natural and the stories made them more real, like something you see everyday instead of just a fantasy.
I loved Adam and all the rightness. His the older brother and feels like guiding them, plus his the first one to see and find Holly. Ethan is the perfect guy, romanctic and very calm, but in the bedroom, WOW. Ryan was the darker brother, because he suffered in the army and almost lost his life, took him awhile to believe in their relationship and actually trust Holly. I really loved them each in their own way.
The ending was strange because things happened so fast, but now there’s a longer epilogue and it made things more normal....more

And after all this timeThis story was expected since we discovered that Kane and Sherra are actually mates since before they breeds escape the labs. And after all this time they are mated and fighting the signs. I loved theis spats and moments together, they are quite a pair and after everything that happened is understandable to see Sherra reluctancy to just accept a mate. She suffered a lot in the labs after Kane disapeared and it’s not his fault, but things are different between them now, but are grown ups and fighting for the Breeds.
This was another great story and Sherra was perfect for me. We also got to see the other couples and the changes for the Breed in the real world, outside Sanctuary. Loving this sereies and can’t wait to continue with those shifters....more

So last year I chose to start with the Alpha and Omega because it had only four books released. I really liked Anna and Charles and decided to give Mercy a chance.
I like that we have the same world of supernaturals, but the city is different. I think it gives a different feel for the series, but we still get to see some off those people we loved on the other series.
This series is a great example of Urban Fantasy, but I really loved the way Mercy is both strong and female. For the first book, we usually have lots of introductions and it was easy meeting Adam, Mercy and Zen. I also loved Warren, but who wouldn't.
Loved the audiobook and will continue with this series on audio....more

I liked her story and how she completely trusted Walker, because he needed some help to overcome what happened in his past.
The best part was the comparison with Angel. Plus he was really shocked about it. He’s strong and very manly, but not so funny, it was nice seeing his other side for once and he’s really good with kids.
These two deserved some happiness and things working for them is great actually....more

At the begin of the book it was interesting to understand that these tow separated but still are friends, so working together can be strange but not impossible. Cal thinks it’s better for them to be friends than anything else, because everything he touch became destructive.
I don’t blame him, for his mistakes in life, but I do blame him by the way he treated Penny during their marriage and how he never even came clean about his secrets and the reasons why he kept her from the family business.
Penny is very strong and a really great girl, she decided to have a child and after what happened with her marriage, she just jumped on the in vitro fertilization to save time and keep her child to herself. She’s very capable in the kitchen as the executive chef, but there’s only one thing missing in her life and it’s closure about her marriage going wrong. They were good together but things started happening and she never figured out why he withdraw from her.
I liked how they managed to overcame the mistakes of the past, but I still think Cal could be a little proactive and start sharing the secrets before his crazy grandma start hurting people, because the woman has a problem with control and loves to see the others suffering.
It was really nice meeting this family and now we get to see even more secrets....more
