OhEver felt as if a book is too good to only be in print? Like it needs to have a bigger stage.. Saaayy.. a movie??!! It's like that with STILTSKIN!!!!
Oh gosh, it's a whirlwind of adventure!! I'm so proud to say that I read this book!
Alright, first things first..
The characters.. There are many of them here, but only a few that you'd understand right off the bat. A lot of them are complex and some of them, I only got to understand in the end. I would say that these characters are portrayed uniquely and are introduced very much in detail. I swear the author has a knack for introducing characters in the most interesting way possible! He gives them a grand entrance, in my opinion, that you have no choice but be intrigued!
So.. Characters? BIG CHECK! Protagonists or antagonists.. He nailed them! Wooot!!
I have two favorite characters, The "CAT" who's all wise and very entertaining and Veszico, my hotheaded and tinier fictional self. Haha! So there! It's all cool! They're both cool! :)
No as for the story it self... Of course, you probably already know that this is all about the fairy tale world, but it's not depicted as that. It's way different! Plus, you get to see many of these fairy tale characters in a different light!
Just to give you a bit of information regarding the story... It all revolves around one guy who never fit in the normal world. He's an odd one and many, many weird things have been happening to him over the years that they all seem familiar to him now. I found him to be a sad sort of individual at first, but as it turns out, he has a colorful past.. one with a rabbits, dwarfs, wolves, magic and endless mysteries. He has a chance to venture there now and he takes it! He gets to meet a lot of um.. people.. and umm.. creatures. He also gets to travel from one umm.. place to many others. It's all so interesting!
That's what you get here. No boring moments! Even the characters' banters are well worth your time! I had a good time laughing my ass off with most of their lines! :)
As a big fan of fairy tale remakes (trust me, I've read many of them!), I can tell you that this one is damn good! One would say that the author took a risky move in depicting many characters in a very outlandish way, but I call it brave! To me, that risk also paid off because I love what happened here. It's enjoyable, entertaining and full of surprises!
All in all.. I would gladly give this a perfect 5!
I can't wait for the next one!!! ^_____^

I think this is one of the sweetest fantasy books I've ever read in my life!
Imagine being married to a person that you view as TOTALLY UGLY on the outI think this is one of the sweetest fantasy books I've ever read in my life!
Imagine being married to a person that you view as TOTALLY UGLY on the outside. You don't have a choice, so you just marry him/her. I know a lot of people would jump to the conclusion that this couple will have a nasty marriage, but IT'S JUST THE OPPOSITE.
I thought it was something like this: They would fight from the start because the guy views the girl as ugly while the girl views the guy as hideous. They would see the positive sides to one another and then stop fighting. They will kiss and make up and live happily ever after.
DID THAT HAPPEN?
What happened is that they accepted each others' appearance from the start, they both wanted to be with someone, maybe even just to fend off the loneliness. What they didn't expect is that they'd learn to love each other despite all the differences between them. They never fought. They're always a team. It's them against the world actually, but they fought them all off.
They were kind to each other and sweet.. so very frikkin sweet!!!
I forgot how EMMA CHASE works! She works fast in giving you laugh out loud moments and she works harderTHIS IS A DAMN FUNNY, SEXY YET ADORABLE BOOK!!!
I forgot how EMMA CHASE works! She works fast in giving you laugh out loud moments and she works harder at making you feel so attached to her characters.
First off, I think this is the first time that I actually fell in love with a big ass family from my fiction world. When you start reading this, don't confine yourself into thinking that this is just about the two main characters because trust me, it's not just about them. It's about everyone which lives they care about. I wouldn't say anything more about that, just know that you WILL LOVE THEM too. :)
Now for our characters, let me just say.. THEY COMPLETE ONE ANOTHER. Complete as in something was missing in their lives until they found each other.
Jake isn't a complete asshole. That's my first observation when I started this book. I didn't have any background of him because I haven't read the first book yet (FINE, SHOOT ME), so my first impression of him is that his thoughts are damn hilarious and that he's a very methodical man. He likes to put things in order and he likes SIMPLE. Little did he know that when this book starts, his life was about to become ANYTHING BUT SIMPLE!
Then enter Chelsea and her 6 beloved charges. They actually enter his life with a bang. It's not everyday that he's thrust into the lives of seven people (if we add Chelsea). Chelsea is a likable character. I thought at first that her character would be the gentle and well.. kind of meek one, but nope. She actually has the backbone to support each and every one of her charges. What I love best about that is that she doesn't balk. She just goes on with taking care of things. However, when things get to be tough... Let's just say that it's an awesome thing that Jake was suddenly present in their lives. :)
What y'all have to look forward to is how Jake would interact with each character. I swear he's frikkin adorable. Emma Chase made him out to be the perfect guy for those angels! Just perfect! He's amazing, funny and lovable! He has his issues, so watch out for how he'll handle those!
The plot is light hearted to me, despite the conflicts. I was able to end this book with a BIG ASS smile on my face. It's just like a movie. I'm telling you. It read like a funny, light hearted with a hint of drama kind of movie!
READI IT NOW!!

Ohhmygods Decker!! I swear that man made me cry after laughing so hard!!!This is probably one of the most hilariously cute, yet HOT read of my life!!!
Ohhmygods Decker!! I swear that man made me cry after laughing so hard!!!
Okay so the blurb says it all actually. Decker is a porn star. The guy has a big problem with his um... equipment. He becomes depressed since of course, THAT is very problematic. He suddenly sees the light when he sees Andi again. The plot takes us with them on their journey to becoming friends. . . And then more than friends.
I swear to you, Decker's thoughts are just plain hilarious and borderline cute and hot!!! You will love him!!!
I wanna be Andi myself! Haha!
The people around them are all so very supportive too. It's nice to have them in all the scenes because they add the laughing-out-loud factor!
All in all, I recommend this book to those who want to laugh hard while falling in love all over again!! ;D...more

Once again, I reiterate that this series is UNIQUE. I never, for the life of me, can figure out where SHAY SAVAGE gets her ideas, but this book definitely came from somewhere that no one has ever been to before. It's awesome!
This book ties up the mysteries of Liam's life before it all started. I must say, even though I already expected a lot of it, I was still surprised by some things that happened here. I love how the book ended and I love everything about their relationship in the end. Yes, I wanted to bash Liam in the head many, many times, but I had to look past that and focus on him getting Tria back.
Tria definitely has more backbone here. She's more loyal and more fierce. I love how she protected Liam in her own way and I love how she was there for him after everything. She's a perfect mixture of strength and grace in times of pressure. She's amazing with Liam. I love how she understood him all the way. I WANT TO BE HER!!!
Both of these characters grew to be more than what I expected them to be. Liam learned the value of forgiveness and moving forward in life. Tria learned that she could trust in a person again and that she's not as unloved as she deemed to be.
I think what I love best about this book is that you'll see how they both appreciate what they have no matter how small it is.
Spoilers ahead so stop reading if you don't want to see this!!
As Liam came from a rich family, left it and then came back, you'd expect that he'll feel entitled to it all. But nope. He just appreciates that he could take more care of his family, but other than that.. nope. Not for personal gain. Tria is the same, so I love them both for it.
The ending part is worth the wait. Everything went as I wanted them to be. I love it! I love it so much!
All in all, this is a perfectly unique trilogy about fighting your battles head on, keeping the faith and pushing forward.
