Annabelle is perfect for him of course. I love that she has an asian ancestry. It's has a different feel to it. I love her never-say-die attitude. She totally fits the requirement of being an Elite angel's woman. I hope that I get to see more of them in the next book in this series. The plot also holds a different feel to it. Not really like LOTU but wayyyy cooler since angels are now the focus. The twist in the end was a damn shocker and a damn shame but I guess that's all part of the story.
I am looking forward to Thane's story (yeah, i just had to choose Thane eh? haha).

I love how they (Daemon and Katy) argued with each other at every turn just like in Obsidian. They were so filled with sexual tension but they never lacked in humor. Even Daemon's jealous scenes were adorable.
Here are some of them that I liked:
He tugged me back, causing my knee to hit the table. “What were you planning to do after dinner? Was Biff taking you to a movie?” Blake’s easy grin started to falter. “Blake. And that would be the plan.” “Hmm.” Daemon’s gaze flicked up, and a second later, Blake’s glass tipped over. I gasped. Water sloshed over the table, spilling into Blake’s lap. He jumped up, letting out a curse. The movement shook the table again. His plate of spicy noodles slid—well, flew—onto the front of Blake’s sweater. My jaw dropped. Holy mountain mama, Daemon had taken my date hostage. “Jesus,” Blake muttered, hands at his sides. Grabbing napkins, I turned to Daemon. My look promised a vengeful death as I handed Blake the napkins. “That was really strange,” Daemon said, smirking. Red-faced, Blake glanced up from patting his crotch dry. For a moment, his eyes fixed on Daemon and I swore he was going to come across the table. And then his eyes shuttered. Quietly and with stiff, jerky movements, he brushed off the brown noodles. The waitress rushed to Blake’s side with several more napkins. “Well, anyway, I’m actually here for a reason.” Daemon picked up my glass and took a drink. “You’re needed at home.” Blake halted his movements. “Excuse me?” “Did I speak too fast, Bart?” “His name is Blake,” I snapped.
--He was sooo amused with his own action hahaha I love Daemon
“You are such a jerk! I know you did the glass and plate thing. That was so wrong!” He held up his hands, laughing. “What? It was funny. The look on Bo’s face was priceless. And the kiss he gave you? What was that? I’ve seen dolphins give hotter kisses than that.” “His name is Blake!” I punched his leg this time. “And you know it! I can’t believe you acted like that. And he doesn’t kiss like a dolphin!” “From what I’ve seen, he does.” “You didn’t see the last time we kissed.” His laughter died off. Uh oh. He turned to me slowly. “You’ve kissed him before?” “That’s none of your business.” My cheeks flushed, giving me away. Anger sparked in his magnetic eyes. “I don’t like him.”
--Jealous much huh
Carissa tossed a folded-up note on my desk. Curious, I spread it open. Why the :( face?
Gosh, was I that obvious? I scribbled a quick message: Just tired. heart your new glasses.
And I did. They were a rocking zebra print. I managed to toss the note back to her. We weren’t worried about our teacher—it was doubtful he could see all the way to the back of the classroom. The guy made Santa look young. A few seconds later, the note was back on my desk. I grinned as I unfolded it. Thank you. Lesa wants me to tell you: “Daemon looks hot today.” I have to agree.
I laughed under my breath and wrote back, Daemon always looks hot!!!
Stretching into the aisle, I went to drop the note back on Carissa’s desk. Before it could leave my fingertips, it was snatched from my hand. Son of a donkey butt! My mouth dropped open and my cheeks burned. Twisting around in my seat, I glared at Daemon. He held the note close to his chest and grinned. “Passing notes is bad,” he murmured. “Give it back,” I hissed. Shaking his head, he unfolded the note much to my—and I’m sure, to Lesa’s and Carissa’s—horror. I wanted to die as I watched those vibrant eyes quickly scan the note. I knew when he got to my part, because his dark brows shot up his forehead. He grinned, used his mouth to pop off the cap on his pen, and wrote something on the page. Groaning, I glanced at Lesa and Carissa. Lesa’s mouth was hanging open and Carissa’s cheeks matched mine. God, he was taking enough time. Daemon finally folded the note and handed it back. “There you go, Kitten.” “I hate you.” I snapped around—just in time, because the teach was scanning the classroom. When he went back to the chalkboard, I handled the note like it was a bomb. Slowly and carefully, I unfolded the damn thing. And I died a little more. That note would never, ever see the light of day again. I refolded the paper and shoved it in my bookbag, my movements stiff and my entire body enflamed. Daemon chuckled.
--I love this scene very much!! It shows how normal, funny and light things can be for them ^_^
I'm happy for how things played out here for their relationship.
Unfortunately, I'm sad for Dee. I hope that things will be better for her on the next book... and that she won't be angry with Katy.
The cliffhanger sucked but I bet it's necessary. It was a good end and will be a good start for the next book.

The characters are ... hmm.. how to put it.. NEW? amazing? lovable? oh i definitely loved them alright! Kat is a really strong character. The things they went through .. gosh, i teared up when i thought Gabe was really dead. I'm also glad that i got a glimpse of what's been happening with the other characters in the past books.. especially Hunt and Darcangelo.

I love how Jenna knows what she wants and did everything in her power to get it. I also love how Gabe eventually gave in to her and became her white knight. They had good chemistry. Their banters were sweet and sometimes hilarious.
I'd definitely read the next one in this series. =)(less)

The story line is great. Interesting that i never suspected who the culprit was or in this case, were. I was totally shocked. For me, this is a really strong start for a series. The characters were nicely introduced. I love it that the author did not ruin it with too much povs. To me, this is a satisfying read. I was mystified. (less)

Where do i start? Well damn, this has got to be my most emotional action - suspense romance novel so far. Sitting here right now at 1am thinking of what to type.. my mind is still in scrambles. The story left my brain foggy. I am one happy reader.
First of all, this is one good getting-back together story. The main characters knew each other waaayyy back and rekindled the flame. That rarely happens and in fiction, rarely works for me.. and yet.. this novel just wormed it's way into my heart. Hunt and Sophie met when they were still teenagers and then went on separate ways. After 12 years, circumstances make their worlds clash again and then things got hot, heavy and action packed. Hunt is one great hero! He sacrificed his own freedom for his sister. He's always thinking of others before himself. He had lots of bad experiences during the time that he was imprisoned and yet, in the end, he was willing to go back. Sophie on the other hand.. i admire her for her courage and faith. She always believed in Hunt. The plot had so many twists and turns but one thing remained constant, the story is interesting! I was never bored. Not one bit. I sweeaarr i'm so happy about the ending right now i could just die. I wasn't surprised that Julian and Hunt became close! I mean, they kinda have the same background. I love it that they all welcomed Hunt and gave him a second chance(yeaaahh everything's all about Hunt! I love Hunt! Go Team Hunt!!!).
This is one helluva novel! i admit to crying at some parts (uhuh sappy sappy sappy me) and to also to jumping for joy at some especially the ending!! WHAT AN ENDING! I can't help but set high expectations for the next book....(less)

Here's one story that i think i'll always remember. I was really curious about this. I thought I Team was a group of mercenaries or special ops. I never thought that it's a friggin news team! Genius!
The story revolved around a writer and a senator. Yeah, an unlikely couple but they worked things out. I love the plot! totally dig the paper! Reece is totally dreamy! He's everything i want in a hero! Smart sexy and realllllyy sweet. On the other hand, i love Kara because she's like WONDER WOMAN. She does everything and she's very strong. Her character was built to withstand pressure and everything else. I was so engrossed and i really wanted to find out who's behind everything. To tell you the truth, i thought the mastermind was the hero's best friend. I'm still sad for him though.
Anyway... i was strangely reminded of this while reading Extreme Exposure:
yea! Maid in Manhattan. Not that Kara was a maid.. but she's a single mom and Reese is a Senator! ^_^

I hope that his hand heals! I'm glad that him and Shea got past their histories and became happy. Their story is of course, a very interesting one since it somehow introduces new characters and a hint of a very dangerous enemy.

There's nothing i love best on a book other than when it strikes me emotionally.
❝Lately I’d been so consumed with fighting with Mom that it never occurred to me what my life might be like without her. Without Dad’s benevolent disinterest. Without the brat, my sister. Who would I be, if they were all gone?❞
This book is entirely not what i was expecting. Sure, i was expecting it to be a dystopian novel... but i wasn't expecting it to have adventure, heartbreaking lines or even romance. Took me by surprise really. The story line is awesome. This is the first time that i have read a novel about volcanic eruption and i must say.. it's impressive. I like how Alex survived on the road. I like his ideas, his ways of avoiding trouble and his ways of getting out of it if ever he meets one. His goal was very clear to him and he did not waste time. I know some would find it surreal that a 16 year old can survive alone on the road with all that was going on in the book but, for me (a dreamy wide eyed girl ≧◔◡◔≦ ), it is possible. If the need to survive and the passion for that one goal is strong enough, i think one can definitely make it. But that's just me. Darla is one girl i would love to be (fiction wise). She's tough and resilient. The love part between him and Alex was kinda awkward to me at first but i got used to it and it was cute in the end. Not all hearts and flowers but .. just sweet (✿◠‿◠).
The line i posted above is the line i love the most in this book. It's very humbling and it truthfully, it made me think of my own family. I'm crazy about my family and so... i found out today after finishing the book that my favorite books are those that i had emotional attachments with.
I don't know if the end part of the book was supposed to leave me hanging or what.. but frankly, i love it as it is. I am waiting for the next book but i love how this one ended. =) perfect.(less)

I admit to skipping lots of Ally's internal monologue but i definitely didn't miss Ally's and Griff's scenes. The interactions of Ally and Griff captivated me. They were so sweet.. too sweet that it left me hanging.. Can this have a sequel please? I think that if this one had a sequel it would be more.. hmm.. how should i say it? complete? satisfying?

I liked how their story progressed. So many new characters were introduced and it only made the story more exciting. The idea of a moving maze really amazed me. I was in awe during their whole journey. When it ended, my question is what'll happen next?? I feel scared for them.. yet i'm also excited. I know that this is the fourth book in the series.. and i'm kinda sad that it's about to end, but then i really want to know how this will all end.(less)

As expected, I loved it! Book 3 in the Percy Jackson series is definitely awesome. It was weird to imagine Artemis being a child, but it worked out. The hunters and half blood working together created a totally different scenario. Their adventure is even more exciting than the second book. The plot? SUPERB. The twists and turns of the novel would surely boggle the minds of kids, young adults and oh! how it boggled mine. I feel sorry for the siblings Nico and Diana. I hope that in the next book, things would work out fine with the both of them (cause i kinda hated it when Percy took the blame and all..) Ugh i would never have guessed that it was (view spoiler)[ ATLAS! (hide spoiler)] who was the General.. hell, i even forgot about him! The twist in the prophecy was a shock to me as well. I never would have thought... haha. It's so hard to put a review without spoilers.
Anyhoo.. i love it! I do hope that i'm not that late to recommend this book to everyone. =)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>(less)

Let's first get this out of the way.. I did not read the first book because i figured that since i already watched the movie, i won't be thrilled with the first book anymore.. BIG MISTAKE! The book was nowhere like the movie. I mean, basing from the second book... it totally isn't one and the same. Ugh.. just look at the age. Anywayy.. i admit that i loved the movie. So i promise to read the first book when i get the time off.. or when i feel like it. haha.
So i loved the book. YES i love it!!! Actually, i listened to the audiobook while doing chores and checked the physical book from time to time. It was an enjoyable read.. FUN FUN FUN. Lots of adventure and lots of morals for kids. I mean, of course i sooo don't pass for a kid anymore yet i feel like i re-learned some values. Percy as a hero is surely a good kid. I like Annabeth as well because she's a brave one and because she never left Percy even if she calls her stupid 50% of the time. Their banters are precious. haha. I also grew to love Tyson.. hmm.. well.. because he's soooo frikkin loyal to Percy even at the time wherein Percy doesn't want him as a brother. I think i'd love to see Tyson in the next movie (yea, i'd like for the movie to have a sequel and i don't mind the difference in age.. i'll get over it.. eventually. ahha). Grover on the other hand... haha.. hahahahaha! i can definitely laugh out loud with his scenes here. He's one funny Satyr! what a dashing.. i mean blushing bride! Haha.. Oh well.. i guess it's quite obvious that i love the main characters. They made the whole book colorful and full of life. It's like i'm with them throughout their journey. I love it. The plot is just right..totally awesome and the end part? SHOCKER.

I can honestly say that i didn't know what to expect in a firefighting novel. Turns out, it can make one's night a hot one! haha yea. Hot, scorching hot and yet really heart warming when it came down to it. The main characters are just perfect for each other. The introduction of the other characters is a bit off for me because sometimes the author uses their first names, sometimes last that it's hard to keep up. Anyway.. the plot is good.. thrilling and really heart wrenching. The dangers of being the one who puts out the fire....hmm.(less)
