This book is oh my gawd! No words. Loved it! It was Intense completely Delicious and had me crying and laughing at the same time.
Dear book where have you been all my life!
Julian of Macedon, Greek love slave, summoned to take care of woman’s loins for two thousand years. Golden Viking *at least that’s what it said* sex god! *now there are two Viking sex gods I have come across* Julian is trapped inside a scroll for the past two thousand years. He is a fierce warrior of his time feared by all. his oh so conniving deceiving brother decides to trap him in a scroll for all eternity. Born from a goddess of love Julian was deceived from it. He had never known what love is in his two thousand years. That is until he meets Grace.
Grace Alexander, a SEX therapist and she haven’t had any for the past four years. *as Selena says, (Grace’s bestie) this is the Age of Electronics woman, I agree.* let’s move on. Grace is the modern woman who believes in science and logic not magic and love slave. But soon she changes her mind when Julian appears before her after the incarnation she does *forced by her gypsy wannabe friend Selena*. Grace is guarded with her heart. But she finds it hard to not to fall for the ancient warrior.
Talk about laughing your ass off it actually happened to me while I read this. I was laughing and getting hot and bothered at the same time. Sherrilyn Kenyon has given new meaning to doing everything except sex. We go to the shower NAKED. We pared around the house NAKED we read books to each other NAKED!! And still nothing. There were times, when I was going yes, yes, that’s it! And then GAH nothing. It was sexually quite frustrating.
I have never read Greek mythology and have a very little knowledge about them. As far as my knowledge goes it is limited to TV series and the cartoons. So even if there were any false information about Greek gods I would not know. So that being said, the Greek gods are absolutely hilarious and cruel at the same time. Eros aka cupid, is married to Psyche, and they are a biker couple!! I almost peed my pants.
Priapus Julian’s brother the evil one. They have some serious issues. Sibling rivalry!
Grace and Julian’s horniness is above and beyond that kept my toes curling in every five minutes. Grace’s determination to break Julian’s curse was incredible. There were times when I was sure they would give into temptation.
From the beginning to the end I was hooked to this book. The story line, plot progress everything about this book was absolutely amazing. I would love to re read this book.(less)
I relate to Milagro in so many levels that it was scary. Yes, I do think men are fabulous...hell I do check out men once in awhile. ;p

I really enjoyed this book. The progress between Milagro and Oswald and then there was Sebastian, Ian and of course Sam, all Milagro's love interest. From the get go I hated Sebastian's snootiness. He was attracted to her and he has issues admitting it because of their family backgrounds. He could have been a ideal choice for Milagro if he had stayed the sweet boy in college. But he didn't. That get's him out of the book for me.
Ian was somewhat preferable but seeing they don't entirely believe themselves as vampires, his actions were rather offensive. And he kindda got crossed out after the chest carpet part.
Oswald, now that is a man who had me captivated from the get go. Milagro's "infection" (as they call it) was from Oswald's blood. Their physical attraction was instant and they had a easy going flirtatious friendship going on the entire time.
Milagro gained a family of vampire that she never had. Fell in love, made some wrong decision and tried to correct them as she went. The lack of strong role model in her life leaded her to make those decision IMO.Her choice of friends in real life was few but those few did seem to be caring for her.
This book was snappy, fluffy and funny. Recommended to all who loves paranormal humor. (less)

First dream hunter on the Dark Hunter series, Arikos a skotos dream hunter, who takes pleasure from human's creative dreams. Wanting to feel human emotion on flesh he bargains with the God of the underworld, Hades. Only to have his humanity for two weeks and at the end deliver a human soul, one specific soul. Geary is out on expedition to find the lost city Atlantis. She will go above and beyond to recover his father's lost reputation. When the stunning gorgeous man stumble upon her path, water she has the very opportunity to make her dream come true.
I did something out of curiosity after the 7th book, I sneaked on Acheron's book. So the leading woman in his book makes is introduced as Dr. Geary's geeky cousin. WITH whom I don't have any problems with. Just the fact she ends up with Ash. *feel free to ignore fan-girl rant on Acheron*
Book's time line is before the dark hunter series started.
Lot of characters makes re/pre-appearance. Overall a good book. Perverted word building of Kenyon will never disappoint.
Recommended to all who loves Dark Hunter world.(less)

His father was cruel to him his brothers but what ended his human life was in fact his brothers. He was never popular nor did he had a friend amongst the many dark hunters, just like his half brother Zarek, who is now a demigod living in Olympus married to the justice nymph. Valerius has always been alone and he thought he would always be, until he met Tabitha.
Tabitha – a Goth girl who has taken an oath to kill Daimens and she didn’t take that oath lightly. She dressed herself in pure gothic attire as she slays vampires. Her family is a hoot, most of them have been mentioned in other books. Amanda, Tabitha’s twin married to an ex-dark hunter Kyrian. Most of the Devereaux family is involved with supernatural world. Tabitha’s kind of guy would be an emo dude most likely or so she thought until Valerius Magnus came along.
This book deals with a return of the old villain who is after Amanda and Kyrian’s daughter. To save her New Orleans becomes populated with more dark hunters but being a DH they can’t fight together as it juices out ones powers. While saving their life they lose some really good friends, which completely tore through my heart. Major angsty past from Valerius, as expected. Agrippina’s death was painful and he never truly recovered from it.
Nick of lawd! Don’t get me started with the boy. I love him I do but sometimes he can be a real ass.
Artemis was more civil in this book. And I have a feeling Apollymi and Acheron might be related. Just Sayin.
Overall a good book. If it wasn’t for everyone becoming immortals it would have been my favorite book on the series so far. (less)

As predicted and have seen in the other books, he is full of angst. His past life made me cry a little bit. Not the torture as much as the loss he suffered from. Sunshine is a nutcase. And I felt related to her, because seriously I don’t have a mouth brain filter either. Sunshines entire family is pretty much weird, but I totally love her. This story had some high revelation about the Dark Hunter world. Acheron’s past comes back into tiny bits, which left me wanting to know about him more. Artiemis is one interesting character. Her and Ash’s relation wasn’t so clear but Ash had feelings for her that I did came across which Artie smashed whenever he needed her. This book was full of revelation and angst. I loved the way Sherrilyn Kenyon writes her warriors and lemons. I loved it to bits. If you are a fan of the Dark Hunter series it’s worth checking out.(less)

Okay. Well, I did...moreI have been seeing readers swooning over Shadowfever for the past few weeks, which got me curious and I just had to check them out.
Okay. Well, I did have hard time getting into this story in the beginning but after I started getting into it, it wasn't half bad as i thought it would. Actually the story was pretty good. But too much descriptive on mythical creature and what was that Shisa-du
Mac, urgh... seriously annoying. Not really surprising though, i had been through-fully warned not to get my hopes up about her. She sets out to find the murderer of her sister and finds herself in another world entirely. Fay, Sheer, unseelie, vampires almost all type of mythical creatures exists. Being the stubborn as she is, she stays in Dublin ignoring all the warning and threats. There were some parts she was even strangle worthy. I am hoping I can change my mind about her.
Is it Barrons or Barrens? I am still confused. He is a hard character to define, because at the end of this book I was thinking I would know what HE is but no explanation on what spices he is yet. He saves Mac, he knows about stuff, he knows people, he has a thing worked out with shades, he jumps off of roof.. it's a bird, it's a airplane no it's Jericho Barrons I guess it'll be revealed in other books.
I am intrigued with fae prince V'lane. I have 100% doubt on his honesty. But but but he sounds... idk what to call it either.
I wouldn't absolutely call it adult genre but not YA either. It's for a bit olderlings. (less)
