Make It Count actually sort-of hit home for me in some instances and it made me connect to it that much more. I absolutely loved this book and it's adorable roller coaster ride of emotions.
With Kat, I instantly liked her quirky confidence. Plus, it was nice to see a character actually struggle for once. In real life people have learning disabilities, and it's nice to see it recognized in such a way that keeps the reader entranced. With her relationships with Max and Alec...I related a lot. I kept saying "man, I know how that feels" and it made me connect with her so much. Definitely liked Kat as our main character.
Then there's Alec Stone, and as Kat's brother would say, "solid name". The first detail we get about Alec is that he has pale green eyes...and I was instantly sold. On top of that, he's intelligent, runs, he wears glasses, he wants to be a lawyer for all the right reasons, and he's just one hell of a good guy. It's hard not to like Alec and his adorable smarts and protectiveness. Just adored him.
Overall, this book was everything I love in a new adult contemporary. Sexy moments, heartbreak, awesome side stories, and a ride that makes you not want to put the book down. Make It Count is one you should definitely pick up!

Did the book suck me in so bad that I didn't want to put it down? Stupid Girl brings out all the feels. It is an emotional new adult creation that I absolutely adored!
I loved the fact the Liv had a love for astronomy and stars...I definitely related to that. More than that, I admired her strength and her choices after she's been hurt and I loved watching her let Brax in. The one thing I also adored about her was how much a family girl she was...family always means number one to me and I'm glad Liv had that quality.
Braxton Jenkins...unf on toast! I admit, knowing "of him" I wanted to hate him when we meet him, I wanted to so bad, but I just couldn't. Brax's charm instantly steals your heart especially with the whole ethereal blue eyes, Boston, baseball, tattoo, and well-built thing going on. He is just the total hot factor. When it came to his anger, I sometimes melted at the protectiveness because it was all for Liv (or shall I say Gracie), but other times I cringed and may have thought it was too much. When Brax's backstory is finally revealed, you know it's going to be ugly but I wasn't expecting to hurt for him as much as I did. I have to give him all the props for coming out on top after everything he's been put through. Just adored him!
Overall this book had everything I love...college setting, dark moments, drama, laughs, and lots of sexy romance. And fortunately no girls I wanted to beat up, *wink*. If you're a looking for an exciting and emotional contemporary, definitely give this one a shot...I adored it!

Where you finish one book, and instantly buy the next and start it because you just have to know what happens next. Where you actually may force yourself to stop so that the book will last just a little longer. The Creepy Hollow series was that for me. I was hooked in book one, and by The Faerie War, I was in love with everything this series has to offer. And yes, I am definitely in book depression now that it is over.
Violet is one of those characters, that regardless of what she's been put through or what she does to herself, you cannot help but adore her. She's fierce and strong and definitely her own person. Then on the other side, Ryn, you are forever my love. In the first book, I knew I hearted you. In The Faerie Prince, I grew to just love and adore you and finally in this last installment you have easily become a favorite book boyfriend of mine. I just adored watching these two fight the world together (whether they were fighting or not).
I have to throw a shout out to Arthur...YES the shrinking dragon! I want one. With The Faerie War, I love how everything built up to multiple moments that you knew were hopefully coming and just couldn't wait to read about. I also loved all the new characters and work building we see in this last book. Overall, I absolutely adored this series. If you're looking for a fun but dark, fast-paced, awesome fae read, definitely give this series a shot!

So many parts made me so happy in this book and yet there were so many oh my gosh moments that The Faerie Prince is impossible not to love.
In this book, I adore Violet even more. Her strength and her determination and even her ability to play into evils hands sometimes just made the book such an awesome one to follow. At the end though, I was really surprised by her and I'm so, so dang curious to see what happens next.
Oryn Larkenwood...oh me oh my. I shipped you in book one, and you have by far exceeded my shipping in The Faerie Prince. Ryn is just everything you love in a boy and more. He's protective, fun, easy-going, likes to joke, and well does the best best best things. Can I just say wet, carpet, and glow butts?! Yep, that is all. Ryn, you better be in all your glory in this last book or I will hunt you down.
The whole last 25% of the book was just a killer. So many crazy things, so many holy crap moments, and I didn't even finish yet I bought the next book because I knew I was going to need it! Rachel Morgan just killed the second installment of this series. Everything is amped up, fights, romance, happy moments, and twists. Just absolutely loving this series and cannot wait to dive into the final book, The Faerie War.
Wow, I just absolutely loved The Faerie Guardian. I'm always a bit skeptical picking up a book I haven't heard anything about, but I figured hey I lovWow, I just absolutely loved The Faerie Guardian. I'm always a bit skeptical picking up a book I haven't heard anything about, but I figured hey I love anything Fae and man was a pleasantly hooked on this book so quick! If you love Fae, Rachel Morgan puts and excellent twist on all things Fae and I could not put The Faerie Guardian down for a second.
Violet is such a kick butt character from the very opening chapter and instantly loved that about her. I love how she breaks the rules and follows her heart, and yet is still always trying to do what is right. Regardless of what she's lost, who is mean to her or betrays her, Violet keeps going and that is an admirable quality.
Then there's Nate, who I find myself very conflicted about. I always in the back of head was wishy-washy about him, even in scenes where I thought he was being adorable. I'll be very curious to see where his character ends up.
With Ryn, well I just love love loved him. It doesn't matter how horrible he acts towards Violet, I understand where his hurt and anger comes from, and yet to me you can still tell there's a heart under all of that. Plus, his hot name and glass blue eyes...oh hellllo gorgeous. I really hope to see a lot more of him in the future, and even though there are no hints being dropped yet...I just may be shipping Ryn and Violet.
The twists and the betrayals in this book were just too notch. I really liked how the story line played out and how it all ended up crashing into each other at the end. I also love the multi-colored hair and eyes to match qualities that Rachel gave her Fae. Also the fact that she made the Fae up to date but yet kept a lot of the same lore. Plus, the whole guardian training aspect was just awesome to read about.
I'm so happy that I have this book a chance, because I ended up absolutely loving it and already bought the next book in the series! Total top notch faerie book!

When we first meet Jordan, I got to admit...she has a lot of balls. Not only is she working undercover in one of the most dangerous fields (drugs), she does it as a thin, blonde hottie which attracts a lot of unwanted attention. Other than that, her next job takes her in one of the more notorious night clubs for trouble makers. I give her a lot of credit considering she lost her whole family, and still does the scary work she does. I love how she keeps her cool in heavy situations and her interactions with Ty were just heart-melting sexy.
Then there's Tyler McGee, who has some secrets of his own to why he dives into the same line of work as Jordan. I love Ty's eyes, and fierce attitude, plus the way he looks out for Jordan stole my heart. I'll take a Tyler McGee any day.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I loved the mystery/thriller aspect, with a little super natural thrown in and a ton of sexy moments. This book had some of everything and I really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a buy!

Baiting The Maid Of Honor, hooks you right away, is filled with so much sexiness it explodes in the pages, and there is nothing to be bored with in this fast-paced novella!
Living through what Julie has and having a family who expects so much of her, I'm not sure I would quite be able to keep my cool and I commend her for it, but also scold. I say that because no one should ever try to be anyone other than who they want to be and it made me so happy to see Reed come in and break down all her walls.
Firstly, the name Reed is just so...UNF. Yes, there is no other word because I adore that sexy name. With Reed, I loved watching his controlling, keep-everyone-away attitude get broken down by Julie. It's funny because you know these big bad boys are capable of affection but you wonder why they never show it and I just love watching big bad boys get taken down by love.
With this story though I kept finding myself looking for something a little more. I'm not sure if it was background stories, or a little less sexiness, or what it was. Overall though, I absolutely adore everything Tessa writes and this one is no exception! Sexy and satisfying!
Exciting, thrilling and sexy, Losing Enough is a new adult with some high stakes drama, and I loved it! Can I also just mention the cover? That coverExciting, thrilling and sexy, Losing Enough is a new adult with some high stakes drama, and I loved it! Can I also just mention the cover? That cover is hot, and that man is phew sexy. If Connor looks anything like him...I'm all in.
With Alex, I adore her outgoing confidence that is never over the top. She knows what she wants and she's never afraid to say or do it. I like how she likes to let loose and have fun yet is also a big family girl. Family is always an important part of my life and I love to see main characters that have the same quality.
With Connor... Unf, unf, and more unf! When we first meet him, he's definitely comes off as confident and kind of a jerk. But, hey if you kept yourself closed off to everyone and everything for so long, you'd probably be that way too. I love watching him slowly change and become the sexy fella he is. Plus the blue eyes...total killer. I loved him and Alex together, they were just so perfect for each other.
Overall, I really liked this book. I liked the fact that is mixes sexiness with suspense, it made me like the story that much more. Losing Enough covered everything I look for in a new adult book and I truly enjoyed it!

I think this is Jus Accardo's best book yet, she just killed this one! Don't get me wrong, her other books are absolutely fantastic, but this one just takes the cake for me. Rules of Survival is filled with so much thrill, so much action, so much heat and I just couldn't get enough of it!
Mikayla Morgan is such a great character to follow. This girl has been place to place, never settling down and constantly on the run. When your mom was a "criminal" you don't really get much choice in the matter. I admire her strength so much too throughout this book. Kayla is eighteen and already had to deal with the death of her mother, being hunted down like a dog, and dealing with people trying to kidnap or kill her. She's definitely one bad-ass chick!
Then there's Shaun Denver....oh hello hot stuff. I adore when a guy is more than just looks and snark. Shaun has those, and the built arms and the sexy smirk, but he also has so much more behind all of that. He's loyal and protective and fierce and can throw one heck of a punch. I also love how he keeps his promises. I adored watching Kayla and him together and was rooting for them till the very end.
Another thing I loved was how Jus set this book up. She started off with an awesome opening chapter, introduced the important people and then jumped right into the story. That's one thing I adore about all of her books, there's no talking your ear off with back story, no lolly-gagging, just straight into the action and no going back. What I also felt was so great about Rules of Survival is that she revealed just enough and just the right points and I adored every moment.
This book was just all sorts of fantastic. Rules of Survival is just constant speed, constant action and filled with two awesome main characters that light up the book with their chemistry. I could not put this one down and it is definitely a must buy!

The Artisans has such an awesome and haunting conThe first thing I thought when I finished this book was 'dang, I would love to see this as a movie'. The Artisans has such an awesome and haunting concept to it plus I just adore all of the characters. It's truly an eerie and unforgettable book with a slightly sexy twist and I loved it.
At first when we meet Raven, I almost thought this book was a historical fiction because it came off so gothic-era-esque, but you later find out that it's definitely not and gothic is just her style, which was a striking characteristic about her. With Rae, I feel so sorry for her throughout this book...she hasn't had the easiest life nor does it become any easier for her. I admired her strength though and was happy for how the book ended for her.
With our lead boy, Jack or shall I say Gideon Maddox, I had an opposite feeling for him. I actually had to grow to love this boy. At first he starts out so arrogant, so mysterious, and it kind of irked me. As the story plays out though, you begin to see that he does have a heart and is put in just as bad of a situation as Raven. Plus, Jack is freaken sexy and I LOVE the fact that he has blonde curls...total win! Watching him and Raven break each other's walls, totally made me love them.
The other characters in the book are just as awesome! My favorite probably being Cole, who I loved right off the bat. Cole is hot and French and I just really liked his role through out the book. Dane and Mags were so cute together and amazing best friends for Raven. Finally, Jenny...aka best house keeper ever!
Overall this story was one I totally loved! The concept and world building of The Artisans was just so unique and creepy that it kind of blew my mind with how different it is. Plus, with my love of photography...it easily captured my attention. What was also cool about this book is that it has paranormal, magic, romance, and basically a lot of awesome elements wrapped into one. Fantastic story line, loved it!

I just adored this book from the very beginning all the way until the heart melting ending.
I right away just wanted to take Landon and store him away for myself. Seriously, any boy who will make out with you after you've been puked on...totally and A+ superstar in the world of guys. Not only that though, Landon is an all-around perfect guy. He's sexy, hardworking, fit, loyal, and a just a complete catch.
On the other side with Skye, first off love her name! Next, Skye hasn't had it easy growing up in a family always in the spotlight, but I was so happy to see a spotlight family who actually does love each other! With that being said, I like how Skye works hard for herself and I adored watching her and Landon grow.
This book makes you fan yourself with sexiness, sigh with happiness, and stop your heart with holy crap moments...and I adored every part! If you're looking for a NA contemporary that you won't be able to put down...this is it!
Just a little FYI, this is book number two in the series, but I did not read book one and still absolutely adored this book!!!! So don't think you have to read the first one, because I didn't and it had no effect on me. Although, considering how much I loved Picture Perfect, I will definitely be picking up the first book!

I am blown away by Amy Ewig's presentation of such a cruel and dangerous world and yet you cannot help but be entrapped in its pages. I just adored everything that is The Jewel.
"It seems like for every time the Jewel makes me angry or uneasy or sad, I discover something beautiful in it."
Violet Lasting, not just her first name but her last name as well is very fitting. After being taken away from her home, put through tests, and then thrown into such a cruel world, Violet has more strength than most. She makes no illusions about a glamorous world, but also is not stupid about how she acts either. I love how she preservers, how she insists on people still knowing she's a human too, not just a purchase to play around with. Although, I don't envy her. I'm not sure I could be put through such horrible things and treated like a slave just carry someone else's baby. I have high hopes for Violet in the future and I cannot see what she can do next.
So let's talk boys. I'll start with Lucian who in so many ways reminds me of Cinna from The Hunger Games. He's one of those instantly love, almost hero-like characters that you look forward to seeing. Then there's Garnet, who first, has the most amazing name ever! On top of that, he's blonde, tall, built, and I absolutely love his carefree personality. See, with Garnet regardless of being part of The Jewel, you can tell he wants no part of it and he won't conform to ways everyone expects of him. We don't see too much of Garnet in this book, but I sure hope to see much more in the future. Then lastly that leaves Ash Lockwood. Oh Ash and your perfect gray-green eyes and the way you treat Violet as if she is actually human. I just adored Ash and everything about him, and at the same time felt so bad for the situation he has been forced into. He's another one that I can only hope we'll see more of.
When I say I hope to see more of the boys, it is because this story and this world is not focused on males or romance. The Jewel is a much darker and sinister story, not in the way of horror but in the horrible situations that humans are forced to endure. See, the woman basically rule the Jewel and regardless of the money, and glamour, and frivolous items...it is not such a beautiful place to live.
Overall, I absolutely adored this book. The Jewel is definitely worth a buy and I cannot wait (will be begging) for the next book!

When I saw she had fae under her belt I couldn't help but give it a try and let me tell you it didn't disappoint at all. I absolutely loved The Glass Man and once I hit a certain point could not put it down!
There are so many fellas in this book and I really loved so many of them. I'll start off with Garret, little Garret...I just adored every scene he was in. He's so frightened and yet brave and selfless I couldn't help but adore him! Along with selfless is Donovan, this dude is one awesome fae. Not only does he do everything in his power to help Lila but he's got some pretty cool powers. The other fella I will mention is Nix, I really like him. Although I say that, I'm a little wary thigh because Nix is the sweet, handsome, always there for you guy and well...I'm completely team Liam!
Liam Liam Liam! Oh man, I adore this guy. He is sexy and protective and has total love for Lila no matter what she throws his way which is a sign of such a great guy. Plus seeing his powers and the things he can do were just totally awesome as well. Of course with him, there's our main character, Lila. I liked sort-of growing with her. She was so lost and tough in the beginning, and although she's still a tough chick at the end she knows so much more about herself. Plus, I loved her attitude, there were so many times I laughed out loud at things she says.
One final boy I suppose I'll just mention a tiny bit is Parthalan. Man, is he bad...sexy bad but bad. Parthalan is the definition of power hungry, of using whatever and whoever he wants to get his way and I actually really liked him as a bad guy, as odd as that sounds...ha!
I'm not sure if she's considering this one adult or NA because our main character is 20 and there is some heavy language and sexual moments. That being said, I absolutely love this age range! No, it's not because I'm 24, but I have always preferred the older side of YA because nothing is really held back and that makes for a heck of an adventure.
Overall I absolutely adored this book. I love all things fae and in The Glass Man we get to see some really awesome sides to the seelie and unseelie. I'll admit that the beginning was a bit slow, I actually thought I read the wrong synopsis because it didn't seem like what I expecting, but once it started picking up...man did it pick up! Violence, sexy fellas, romance, heartbreak, awesome lore, and one kick-ass protagonist all contribute to this awesome story. Cannot wait to read the next one!
Awesome lore, thrilling story, and tons of characters to adore...I just loved Awaken! I admit, I wasn't sure what to expect with this one and I am soAwesome lore, thrilling story, and tons of characters to adore...I just loved Awaken! I admit, I wasn't sure what to expect with this one and I am so glad I gave it a shot because I really loved it!!
With Chloe as our main character, I liked getting to discover everything as she did. There were a lot of moments I felt bad for her, but also commend her for being persistent in what she wanted and knew she needed. I'm looking forward to finding out more about her in future books!
I adored Noah right from the start. Hello, he has my blonde hair and green eye combo...insta-win for me! On top of that though, Noah is an all-around good guy. He listens, he likes to do outdoorsy things, and he's protective. Just adored Noah and his adorable sweetness and hope to see much, much more of him in future books.
Zeke, I have to give it to him for being awesomely persistent. Regardless of not knowing Chloe, he still saves her at every chance he gets and has her best interest at heart. I know we'll get to see more of him in book two and I'm looking forward to getting to know this sexy sea boy.
I really liked the story that Skye created in Awaken. It's a topic we know and love but with new lore thrown in that made the story so much more interesting and I loved trying to figure it all out along the way. There even was a thrill factor that made the story even more gripping through the pages. Overall, I was super impressed with this one and I cannot wait to get my hands on the second one!
