I have one word for this book and it's extraordinary. When I first found this book I just liked the cover then I read the summery and I thought why don't I take a break from all the paranormal books and read a realistic book for a change so I downloaded it and started reading. I think I was glued to my laptop after the first ten pages I think it's because the story can happen in real life and as I read I started to relate to Laurel. The story starts in a sad way how her family dies, but then it gets better. We get to see how Laurel deals with her life after the accident how strong she acted. The most thing I liked about this book was how we got to see how Laurel is left with a lot of difficult decisions she struggles on the her way to decide, but in the end she makes the right choice the one that she wants and suits her so now she can move on and start living her life.
Our Life is full with decisions some can be simple like choosing what to have for breakfast or what to wear others can be more difficult like what I would like to study or what I want to do when I grow up and every single one of them is important cause it can change your life so no matter what anyone tells you all that really matters in the end is your choice and your opinion cause in the end it's your life and your the one that will be living it not them.
Making difficult decisions is what I learnt from this book and I intend to remember what I learnt and carry it with me in my everyday life. I also think that I'm gonna read more realistic books who knows I might learn a thing or two while I'm reading.
I recommend everyone to read it cause reading this book was a great journey and your missing out a lot if you don't read it....more
I have to say that this story has to be one of the most captivating stories I have read till now. I was crying the whole time there were a lot of sadI have to say that this story has to be one of the most captivating stories I have read till now. I was crying the whole time there were a lot of sad moments. Abigail and Kristen's friendship was admirable and very rare, I wish I had a best friend like Abigail it was one of the reasons I loved this story so much how loyal Abigail was to Kristen even after her death and how much she loved her to trade her life so that Kristen could live it was really beautiful.
I wasn't very fond of Caspian at first I just thought He was being selfish how he would let her love him knowing that there was no way they would be together I mean falling in love with a ghost is just creepy no matter how romantic it may seem, when I was reading the first and second book I was hoping that Abigail would get over him and look forward to her future cause I really didn't want her to die, but when I got to the third book I started to like Caspian and she did love him so what matters is that she would be happy so I had to respect her choice.
In the end she got what she wanted she and Caspian were finally together even though they were ghosts which is kinda creepy but hey at least it's what they want who am I to stand in their way. The Revenants changed the past so instead of Kristen dying Abigail took her place, Kristen got to live and she graduated and is with Ben that was nice Ben is a good guy He was kind to Abigail so he deserved to be with Kristen.
The only sad part in the story is that Abagail's parents lost their daughter they loved her so much they bought her the shop so she could start selling perfumes, but Abigail will never get to see her dreams come true, but other than that it was a wonderful story I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book. ...more
The Night World is a secret society, with its strict rules to keep it top secret. Vampires, witches and werewolves, all have to keep to the strict codeThe Night World is a secret society, with its strict rules to keep it top secret. Vampires, witches and werewolves, all have to keep to the strict code don't fall in love with a human and dont let anyone know about the night world.
The first story, Secret Vampire, lets us know about the night world slowly, Poppy is dying from a rare cancer and she's always known that there's something different about her best friend James who turns out to be a vampire and when he finds out that poppy will die he tells her that he can help her by turning her into a vampire. I liked Secret Vampire the most as you read you can just feel that you are getting sucked in to this dangerous and dark world.
The second story, Daughters of Darkness. Mary Lynette is suspicious of three girls who came to visit their aunt Opal. Jade, Kestrel and Rowan are on the run from their old fashioned family they got tired from all the over protection and no freedom so they escaped, but they end up getting caught in a town where a slayer is on the loose. And their brother Ash is on their tail, hoping to make them return home. Then they join forces to catch the slayer who turns out to be a werewolf that got angry because he didn't want to share his meals. It's interesting to see how much Ash has changed from his first appearance in Secret Vampire, becoming almost a different person after meeting Mary Lynette.
The third story is Enchantress, Blaise and Thea are two cousins that grew up together and are inseparable, Blaise is the trouble maker and Thea just goes along with her and they are both witches. Thea ends up falling in love with a human Eric which is against the night world laws and they would get killed if anyone found out but in the end they manage to find away with the help of Blaise to end up together without breaking any rules.
All three stories center around the concept of the 'soul mate' principle which means that one person in the world is right for another. In all three stories there is a night world person who ends up finding his or her soul-mate in humans which is forbidden and against the rules but they end up breaking them anyway James, Poppy, Thea and Eric all end up together only Ash and marry don't end up together but they are all happy in the end.
In the end it was an interesting book plus it has vampires, werewolves and witches in it. So if you are a sucker for these things like me you will enjoy reading it. ...more

I thought I'd read the first book of the series and if I liked it I'd continue with the rest of the books.
I think the story was interesting it's just one of those thrilling adventure stories that makes you not wanting to stop reading. I'm a fan of all paranormal stuff. I just like the action and the fun I get from reading about all paranormal stuff and it kinda gets you to wish that it really does exists.
As for the characters I didn’t feel any connection to them. I didn't care about them that much I would just read fast until I got to something more interesting cause I was bored most of the time. Of course, I am not talking about Rose, Lissa and Dimitri cause I loved the three of them, but I am talking about the other minor characters.
The relationship between Rose and Dimitri was the cutest thing, but they couldn't be together so that was sad cause it was the only thing I was paying attention to. Also, Lissa and Rose friendship was the kind of friendship everyone hopes to have with their best friend it was really inspiring.
I have five more books to read so the question is will I continue reading the rest of the series my answer is yes. I guess once you've read the first book you just can't stop without completing the series and I also read some reviews that said that the story gets better. ...more
I couldn't have asked for a better ending everything happened the way I was hoping for them to happen. I was so happy that I couldn't even find wordsI couldn't have asked for a better ending everything happened the way I was hoping for them to happen. I was so happy that I couldn't even find words that would describe how I felt. This book really took my breath away and that is rare cause not so many books make you feel that way. There were some heartbreaking scenes in this book I was crying in the end. The characters became more developed especially Clary she is more confident in this book. All the mysteries got solved and there were no loose ends. The writer really worked magic when she wrote this book she just makes you imagine everything every scene every character I don't think that there was one scene in the entire book that didn't appear in front of me it was like watching a movie but better. All the events that had happened from the first book to the third were connected and as they happened they were drawing a circle and by the end of the book the circle got completed. I really thought that this was the end and there wasn't going to be any more books cause really this was the perfect ending to a perfect story.
The story starts with Clary. She is on a mission to save her mother with help from Madeline, her mother's old friend the only person who knows how to make her mother wake up from her coma. She tells Clary that there is a warlock that can reverse the spell but he is in Idris and the only way to get him to do it is if she goes to him.
Alicante is the home of the Shadow-hunters also known as the City of Glass. The city got the name from the beautiful three glass towers that protect it from any harm. The only way to get to Idris is through a portal and Magnus, the warlock, has arranged one. Clary is planning to go through the portal with Jace and the Lightwoods. The only problem is that Jace doesn’t want Clary to go so he lies to her about when they where leaving. He thinks it is too dangerous for Clary.
After Clary gets left behind she finds her way to Alicante by using her ability to create runes and makes a portal for herself but Clary doesn’t know that using a portal and entering the city without permission is against the law so she cant let anyone see her.
Once in the City Clary is caught in the middle of the largest battle the Shadowhunters have ever had to face against Valentine. They form an alliance with the down-loaders cause without them they have no chance in fighting the Demons Valentine has unleashed on them.
The mystery about Jace and Clary is revealed and they aren't siblings thank god cause was kind of wondering what kind of a sick story is this. We find out that Jace's mother kills herself in the uprising when her husband got killed. She was eight months pregnant and Valentine finds her body he saves the baby so that he would raise him to be his own child hoping he wouldn't turn out like his 1st boy who is a monster. This boy doesn't grow up to be what Valentine wants, he is too good so he dumps him after ten years to be raised by the Lightwoods.
In the end Clary saves the day and ends up with Jace. What more do you want to know more that is the perfect ending. A lot of other important stuff happened but you will have to read the book to find out. ...more
When I started reading The Hunger Games I wasn’t really paying attention to the story I felt bored most of the time and it was also kind of weird in tWhen I started reading The Hunger Games I wasn’t really paying attention to the story I felt bored most of the time and it was also kind of weird in the beginning cause all the story was about was hunting and the need to get food to survive like that’s all there is to life hunt get food and eat and wake up the next day and do it all over again. It was like their only purpose in life. They live so they can eat that’s all they do all day, but as I continued reading the story got more and more interesting.
When Kitniss volunteered to be the girl tribute instead of her little sister I really started to like the story and the more I read the deeper I got sucked in cause that’s when the action started and The Hunger Games began. From the start I was cheering for her and Peeta to win although I thought that by the end one of them was surely going to die, but I just kept cheering for them and wanted them to survive and as the other tributes started to die I got excited and thought they really have a chance in winning especially when they changed the rules and told them that if the last two tributes are from the same district then they both win so all they have to do is be the last two standing.
It was nice seeing Kitniss and Peeta taking care of each other. He saved her life and she kept taking care of him when he was sick and risked her life to get him the medicine so that he doesn’t die. It was sad to see that Peeta was really in love with her, but she still doesn’t know if she feels the same way all she knows is that she cares about him an doesn’t want to see him die.
Now after they won the game makers are angry because they defied them so Kitniss and Peeta have to keep acting and say that the only reason they went against the rules was because they are madly in love and can’t stand the thought of losing each other.
I thought this book was a great kick off to the hunger game series. I’ m looking forward to reading the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next. ...more

I loved everything about the book from the story line to the characters. There was a lot of mysterious things happening that get you glued on the chair in order to find out what's going on.
I love Kylie's personality she's so funny I couldn't stop laughing I had lots of Laugh-Aloud-Moments. I also love what Kylie has between her and Derick and Lucas ah but it's a hard choice even I couldn't choose one they are both so great.

I really loved Corr he was a really great horse it was so sad what happened to him in the end and how he'll never run again and when Sean decides to release him he doesn't go in the ocean and stays with Sean so that was really nice. The writing was beautiful and I hope that there will be another book cause I'm looking forward to reading more about what else will happen I dont want the story to end yet I want to see what Kate-Puck will do next. ...more

The thing I loI loved this book it made me laugh and cry it was just one of those special books that will stick with you after your done reading them.
The thing I loved the most is Emma and Dexter's friendship and how they were able to keep in touch over all the years no matter how much time they spend apart when they meet again its like they were never apart I just loved how they made each other laugh and how they fought together but still managed to stay friends after 17 years.
The ending was sad though I mean couldn't they just let them live happily together and have babies they deserved at least that after all they went through. I cried a lot when Emma died she was just full of life and she was what kept Dex going on, that's what anyone really wants a loyal friend that one can depend on that will be there in the bad and good a friend that you can share all your secrets with cause life is just hard to live it without one.
Anyway it is still an amazing story even though I was devastated with the ending, but that's how life goes in reality we rarely get the happy ending that just happens in the fiction books so I guess I'm the kind of person that dreams of a happy ever after I blame all the books I keep reading.
