i rated this book 3.75, i could decide between 3.5 and 4 so i choose to go in between. well, what can i say..? i really enjoyed this book! it was REALLY good :D it wasn't what i'd say my favourite book ever, or not the most captivating book either but still up there, i loved the reality of the book and story.
it is about a young girl whose mom is long gone and dad is turned into a zomebie. You see she is night hunter, she kills the creature from the real world. now the hunters have dcecided to hunt back and Dru is first on their menu !
let me now start with the amazing characters:
Dru Anderson - Dru is really cool! i love her fierce snarky attitude and awesome fighting skills. the reason that made her soo realistic to me was the fact that she also had her downfalls she couldn't always be strong she didn't always know what to do... she wanted someone older and more experienced to handle the situation, which really all of us would of prefered really wouldn't we, in her shoes..?
Graves - is an awesome friend i wished i had! he never complained once on the consquences of what was happening and the fact that Dru threatened him more than once and that he was totally pulled out of his own life! he was funny always there to pull a funny joke to lighten the mood :) He was also always there for a shoulder to cry on :D this is the ultimate friend. Graves helped whenever he could and stuck through with Dru to the very end :)
Christophe - aaaahhhhh... gorgeus christophe. i know in future books, he will definitely be with Dru in the end. they have a lot in common, you can see he cares for Dru, something will eventually happen there!!! i love his attitude that he can take down anyone and anything and then no matter what happend he would still be better than anyone else with his easy-going confidence.
i love the way grandmama was structured into the book, that was a very unique feature within this book with her owl showing her the way and helping her. i also felt pitty for Dru as Christophe would always bash her father and keep going on that he stupid and that they were amateurs (which yes, they were, but he was harsh.) i felt bad, she had a totally different perspective then on her dad and who he was ect. i only have two complaints. that there was A LOT of descriptive. But it was still good, i could really then understand the emotions and environment and what they were experiencing. And that it would take a long time for when the action would start. But dont get me wrong when it did, it was enthralling!!! really GOOD!!
i loved this book it was great and i definitely recommend it toooo everyone! its really worth the read. ...more

On each page I found something more surprising than the other. The book is about a young girl named Nora who meets a mysterious boy who goes by the name of Patch. When Nora is unwillingly paired with the handsome, dark mysterious schoolboy during science class, she becomes more curious of his life and who he really is she investigates, yet do not be deceived to assume that Patch is not interested in her either. Meanwhile someone is supposedly trying to kill her and her best friend, but the real question is, is Patch the suspect for her assaults? Read along on this epic thriller were we meet the typical hard core boy that any girl would be lusting over and a romance and love that not even death could tear apart!
I strongly recommend this book for young adult fiction, and high school students. ...more

well what can i say, beloved dimitri is turned, i thought i was about to start crying my heart out the way it happened was even worse the dramatic turn of it all, the way she tried to go back for him and then at last that it was that particualrr strigoi, nathan??
but also i was already inlove with adrian and on his side all the way the way this book ended wit him giving her the money and then asking for only one thing, for her to give him a chance, it made me love him even more, there was no way to describe the love i have for him (scratch the fact that he is a fictional character (; )
obviously like in all books not everything can be perfect and something we wanted to happen. and in my case it was the fact of the constant times where she saw mason as she was on a trial. i wanted to scream at her, tell her forget about him help christian! but obviosuly my yelling did no accomplish anything in the slightest. and then when dimitri asked her what was wrong and never told him... that was really dissapointing. i wanted her to trust him even if it meant telling something that could possibly make her look mentally stressed and going through a shocked stage.
but at last she told him and then when she got her victory and beat dimitri i wanted to burst up in joy and i jumped up in the air screming in joy and happiness for her!
to add this book was really funny! i love it when rose says to adrian "kiss me" and he's like what and ect. and then later christian is like "WHY WERE JUST ABOUT TO START MAKING OUT WITH ADRIAN!" rose - "it was my therapy" christian - "what kind of hell therapy are you in`!? " well it was something like that! it was really funny though!
so i cant put all my thoghts into this box as it would take ages and i dont know if there would be enugh space! but overall i loved this book and recomend the series to any YA lovers!!!!...more
