As the title suggests, it's about a war on another planet, which is very much unlike a war on this planet. I had no idea until tonight that I missed a Young Wizards book in 2010, and that there's another one coming out in 2013. Yay!(less)

I think it's the only one of this series that I read, but I read some of the Dragondrums/Menolly books, too. I've always been told that these McCaffrey dragon books are science fiction rather than fantasy, but they definitely have a fantasy feel. I also remember having a discussion about this book in school, with a couple of my classmates.(less)

There were funny little creatures in it, but I can't remember their names.(less)
