But A Great and Terrible Beauty was just that little bit different it kept me interested. I like how Bray has made the characters realistic, we all know that group of pretty popular girls, you want to be apart of yet yet you don't actually like the girls them selves. this is how i felt about the characters i wanted to know what happens to them i liked them but i still thought they were bitchy and petty just how young girls are i spose. The plot of this boo.k is a bit different too, i like the idea of the realms and the spirits in them, I wish she had gone into them and explained them a bit more but maybe this will happen in later books. all in all it was a fun and easy read and i most probably will read the rest of the series ...more

This book surprised me being written for younger readers I didn't expect to get much from it. But the world and the characters Neil Gaiman has created really sucked me in and intrigue me. I feel this book is a good read no matter what your age and it just goes to show that Neil Gaiman really is a master of his work almost no one does creepy like he does. ...more

Im bumping it down to a two and the only reason it isnt a 1 is because I damn well love magnus bane... and he is not enough this nearly enough to save it.
This book was terrible... how on earth did Clare fall so far?
Because she is milking this damn story till the very last drop! far out women you already put them through a war give the kids some rest! I also find this book unbelievably unrealistic (and no not because of the monsters and shiz) if I where cary I would ditch jace ASAP how the hell does she put up with some who mopes and feels sorry himself all day every freaking day! the man is a wet blanket!
gah this makes me angry what once was my fun easy going series has no turned into this horrible beast of a thing with a damn shitty cliff hanger ending that I have no idea how we even got to!
Im done with this series, whit clary and jace and their seriously messed up life....just move to mexico and be done with it all!
