In the first two chapters, you'd think this was well written, but in all following chapters the writer repeats smart phrases over and over again. The one that I think I read 47 times: "They broke my bones." Ugh.
Also, despite this being pitched as a novel, the writer clearly is building his best image of self. And, of course, he thinks he's a badass.
