Can...moreThis installment of Vampire Realms, Marise the Venice Law Keeper is called to her bloodline to investigate the assassin attempt on Timure’s life. Can she set aside her feelings for her past lover and complete the mission without putting herself and others in danger? This story is very focused on the love between Marise and Jascha and helps put away the one lie that has torn down their relationship. I really like this short story and it has enough romance and action to balance out. The only thing that I would change is that I wanted more information on a couple of the characters that were mention, but other than that the story was interesting enough. (less)
