I will never believe conventional wisdom anymore but question everything... Not really. Steven D. Levitt is a genius on data mining. His research includes intriguing questions such as "If crack dealers make a lot of money, why do they still live with their mothers?", "What do real estate agents and the Klu Klux Clan have in common?", "Are your children safer playing at the neighbor's house who has a gun or at the neighbor's house who has a pool?", "Is a name a contributing factor in someone' success?", "what do school teachers and zumo wrestlers have in common?", etc. You may not agree with his findings because they may seemed unconventional and even outrageous, or immoral because morality deals with what the world should be like, but economics is the study of the world as it is and in this respect he is a great economist. You may think that he has his own personal agenda. However, as crazy as his findings maybe, I found the book very entertaining. I highly recommend it(less)
