Well let me just keep this short and sweet because honestly I'm kinda speachless... This book was AMAZING! I loved it! It was so on point finally Ms Ione went back to concentrating on the main couple of a book... ( yes I'm still sore about limos story) Than and Regan were hot hot hot.... did I say hot? the book still had the action pack twist and turns I like, and me on the edge of my bed a few times think, I done bit off all my nails. Yeah it was that good... Larissa Ione is an entertaining writer and those love scenes owe! smoookin.... She is like a little sister to J.R. Ward imo (they kinda look alike ya think) Anyhoo I was supposed to make this short and sweet this is a must read the whole dang series ok? lol in other words please I beg you to read this it is a wonderful entertaining read. :)
Here is my Thanatos and Regan.. Happy reading... Yes they are hot together!!! ...more

Soo good it had me feeling all kinds of emotions. I was on pins and needles. I was happy, I was sad, I was angry, I was frustrated, I pissed as all hell, and confused a bunch of times and wanted to go all Thanatos on this whole book. I mean Jeez can you say need to communicate much their was so many secrets and lies, twist, turns and mischievous things going on.. these people needed to talk to each other. I mean like 5000 years and you cant figure out your own curses.. I felt like my head was spinning with all that happen. And Limos poor Limos, was this limos’s story?? Uh I think not this was everybody’s story from Pestilence to Reaver to Harvester to Arik to than to Kynan to Wraith to all the demons and hellhounds and vampires oh my lol everybody and their grandma was up in this.. And boy I have to to tell you if you can get me all riled up with emotions and babbling like and idiot then you are a great author in my book. I can not believe it ended like that, soooo glad I have the next book to jump right into if I had to wait for the next one I would have been hot.... Really I would have gone all Than and took out everybody around me…
Ok I have to say I loved this book. why is it that every third book of a series ends up being my fav.. and even though she didn't give Limos her fair share of the story everything else about it was awesomely good that all the action pack twist and turns it was like watching a movie! Oh and what the heck? Poor Arik that boy got so tortured and Reaver all I can say is Damn? Why, why did Harvester do that to him? Jeez these immortals beat the crap out of each other. I mean beaten so bad they look like raw meat and still get an erection wtf??? Ok Im rambling again ok this is a must read I was going to give it 4 stars because it didn’t have a whole lot of Arik and Limos but im sorry this was pure entertainment im talking sitting bug eyed with a bowl of popcorn good and it deserved 5… I cant wait to read about Than and Reagan my heart goes out to them... this book was more about them than Limos and Arik... Im just saying.. :)

I just wasn't feeling it. She didn't match up to the way I like Ehelana's character their story just seem to drag on and on and on. Oh and the back flashes there was more foreplay in their memories than in their actual story. But besides all that I'd love to give this book five stars just for Nalini descriptions alone. They are so beautiful man that lady can put words together that sound so seductive it pulls you in to her world.
Well here is my couple Honor and Dmitry... happy reading :) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more

Captivating utterly captivating.. Archangels Kiss... See this is what I was talking about, when I said come up with something out of nowhere, and see where is goes. Nalini Singh has this wonderful imagination that are what some of the most unforgettable books are made of. This author did just that with these angels and vampires, she made them he own not like the same o same o we read over and over again in other paranormals. This series stands alone.
Now see, this is an Angel story to sink your teeth into. I'll admit the first book of this series had me in a 'I dont know if I take anymore stage,' but once I read the first three pages... I couldn't put this book down. This book was even better. Nalini Singh is so creative with her writing. Her words are like liquid butter. They make you think and wonder. She say's things like " A hint of midnight whispered in his tone; shadows so thick they were almost corporeal."... It was like wow! I could imagine how his voice was a whisper in midnight, sounds like a caress to me.. yum... Sorry if my review is all over the place but this is just coming out of my head like an explosion.
This book was the like instrumental music to a song by Adele called Turning Tables, sensual and dark, seductive even a little erotic, but not the nasty erotic, just plain lovely, I tell you... It was even funny at times. Kept me intrance with the wonder of it all. Let me tell you there are so many things I liked about this book. The Angels the wings, the smells. I could truly go into my imagination and see, hear, taste, smell, and feel everything in this book. I love the different looks of every angel we meet. Nalini brings them to life with her description of them you can actually picture what they might look like, so many colors. I loved it, know one was the same. It made it even more enjoyable to read with so many ethnic groups of Angels and Vampires from all over the world.
I loved that this book was focused more on the romance, and the feelings between Raphael and Elena. Their love was like a song from Neyo "Say it." that Raphael is so yummy his words to Elena just had me feeling like a waffel cone thats dripping down to the floor. I also liked that coming from being so tuff as a human in the first book, Elena showed her vulnerability a lot in this as an immortal. A new baby Angel; but she stayed true to who she was though. It was also lovely see Raphael's love and attention, his possessiveness and protectiveness, he had towards Elena. He had his seven working it guarding her.... I loved the Seven too. Raphael has some bad a$$ boys that got his back. They are all different and interesting enough you want to learn more about them... Dmitri, Illium, Jason, and Aodhan just to name a few. I'd love to read about them more.. :) The only problem I could come up with this book is that there are so many to people in it I kept getting confused at times. But other than that I was seriously seduced by this story and cant wait for more..
Well have I said enough? I think so my hands hurt now... lol anyway I can't wait to get to the next book. Here is my couple Happy Reading... ...more

Because this was one of those books that people will have mixed feelings for. One of those 'I like but don't love it'... I thought this was a very interesting story. I'm really liking the fallen angel genera just wish I could find me one that's a awesome love story... I'm so tired of vampires but then again these fallen angels had fangs just like vamps ooooh save me from the same ol folk lore lets just come up with something from no where and see where it goes... LOL? This book like I said interesting and strange the povs was nice at times other times I just felt like they were just thinking to darn much... I liked Raziel he just keept fighting what he wanted to darn long... Allie had to warm up to me but I ended up like her the most out of the everybody her sense of humor kept the story going for me...
Thing I didn't get is, she dies right?... no spoiler it says that in the back of the book description... Anyway he saves her from hell and takes her to his lair and of course they get together and all that but he kept saying that she would eventually get old and die...ok got me confused there I thought she was dead and was now with the fallen so wouldn't that make her immortal too?....Well I read the preview of the next book after this and I will say I am definitely curious about this series and will not give up on it and read the next one... I hope I didn't put you off this I say give it a try. I was glad that I did.. You never know you might fine something wonderful... :) oh I found this part hilarious...."He was exquisitely beautiful, even more so without clothes. I'd always found naked men to be sort of silly, with their drooping parts bouncing as they walked."*Allie* Thad part had me busting up laughing drooping parts... ;)

Although I was hoping for more of a romance fell to it, it was still good, in ways it reminded me of Harry Potter. The author kept you on your toes waiting to find out what happens next with each page.
The reason for the 4stars is... As much as I like YA books I just don't like it when their girl characters are made out to be so naive about certain things that are right there in front of there face. I also couldn't understand how Clary's BFF could stay out all night without no explanation to his parents. And I hated the ending twist that was a big put off for me, but I ended up reading a spoiler somewhere and the ending twist that I read might not be true in the rest of the series, I sure do hope that that was a mistake because that was gross.
Other than all that I can't wait to read the next books. ...more

Being introduced to a new author is all ways a challenge for me, But the girl at my bookstore said this was a must read. “If you liked J.R. Ward then you will definitely like Nalini Singh.” She said to me. She talked so highly of this book and had such a glow on her face when she was telling me about the book that I just had to get it. I’m easily stirred when someone is excited to tell me about a book.
Now to the reasons of why I like this book. I love her descriptions of the Angels and their wings. I also love the different ethnicities of everyone; the book definitely has a lot of people from various cultures. I like the romance between the Archangel Raphael and Elena the hunter after about 100 or so pages the hunter lost her bitchiness and became more likable.
The reasons for the 4 stars is I know this was a urban fantasy romance story but I would have preferred her say it was just a urban fantasy because there wasn’t a whole lot of romance between the two but I have to admit there were some good tension I would have liked it better if the author would have left the gruesome details out of the killings by one particular angle. What he did to the humans made me a little nauseas at times. I would have more preferred the details of Raphael and Elena’s romantic moments. What I couldn’t understand during the ending battle was where were all the other angels why didn’t he have help I thought that they mention in the beginning that it was agreed they all were going to kill the bad Angel. But then again I could have forgotten something I due tend to read fast sometimes. ☺
One more thing I have to say about the battle was that it was great and full of excitement. Over all it was a very good story with some wonderful surprises in the end. I will be defiantly be reading the next book to this series. ...more
