I welcome the escape into a different world with mystical creatures and magical characters. So when I started Incarnate after reading the synopsis, I was expecting a good read what I did not expect was a fantastic, amazing, awesome, breath-taking book that had my mind going in so many different directions I was dizzy with elation! The world building in Incarnate was so good I could feel the Heartbeat in the walls and temple of Heart and the fire that came from the Sylph’s. What I also liked about this book was the idea of reincarnation where people remember everything from past lives. I sometimes caught myself thinking “Would I want to live like this?” because as awesome as it sounds I felt it would get kind of stale knowing the same things and people just in different bodies. Then again knowing every time when you die that you would come back was pretty cool.
Now for Ana the Main Character I loved that even though she was a nosoul (as her awful mother called her) was strong willed and held her own with these people that had lived over and over again. Speaking of those people the love interest Sam *sighs* I think I have found myself another (yep that’s right) book boyfriend. He’s tall dark and handsome but not only that he’s gentle, creative, funny, and protective but he also has a vulnerable side which made me love him even more. The other cast of characters ranged from people I loved to people I vehemently hated and wanted them to suffer. I had so many emotions while reading this book and there was one part that sticks out and I’d like to try and quote it without spoiling too much so here goes!
Scene: This is during a dance…..
“His fingers brushed my cheek, down my neck. The entire masquerade stretched out before me, but my focus tunneled to the man behind me. Hands eased towards my hips and held tight as we spun; my feet lifted off the ground, but even when I thought the wings might carry me into the breeze, he held me tight.”
Let’s just put it this way this whole chapter had me swooning ;)
Incarnate is a book I can see myself reading over and over again I fell hard for this book and the characters and world inside its pages! I can’t wait for book 2 to see where Ana’s journey takes her and us! ...more

Megg has a way of creating a fantasy realm that you could see yourself living in even wanting to! I’ll try and not spoil too much so this review will be short and sweet because I feel like I could ramble about this book for days!
Lianne is the type of character you fall in love with immediately she is loving, caring, but also very strong. The two boys in this story couldn’t be more different there’s the quiet shy Bryden or the strong outspoken Kellan. I’ll be honest I didn’t like Kellan from the start I thought he was arrogant and something always felt off with him. Bryden though stole my heart immediately with his dreamy eyes and his smarts!
I think the best part of this story was all the twists and turns. I’d finally get comfortable where it was going and then Megg would throw a huge monkey wrench into the scenario and we’d be headed off in a completely different direction.
Go pick up Sleepers now! I’m patiently (not really) waiting for book 2 :D

Megg has another hit on her hands and has wrapped up the series with an ending that was both heartbreaking and joyous! I couldn’t have seen Reychel and Mark’s story ending any other way.
Megg has brought back the fantasy world that I dearly love and with it the amazing characters that I’ve grown to see as friends. I hoped and wished they would have a happy ending but with Megg I knew that to get a happy ending there would be some suffereing along the way. I cried and winced with pain with what she does to some of the characters I think I even said “Oh Crap!” more than once. There was also something that happened that I predicted early in the book something even Reychel didn’t see coming but it was so fun watching her discover the truth about it and no I won’t tell you because it’ll spoil the ending!
The characters she brought back in the story were all a very important part of this ending Krissin grows into a strong leader and with Ace at her side she appears to be almost invincible but, she has learned to show some weakness as well and that made me love her even more! Mark and Reychel seem to be up against some insurmountable odds but their love and connection to each other can survive anything. A love like that is special and rare. Ivy is back in this one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I actually forgave her and, I swear the bad guys were even worse!
You all know how I love a good fantasy series and this is one of them Megg is one of the first Indie Authors I read and I am so happy to say she is an amazing author!...more

I also haven't read a mermaid story since The Little Mermaid so I was very excited to read this.
So Everblue takes place in two locations one on the surface and around Lake Tahoe and the other in a magical realm Natatoria both so different and vivid in their own ways. I could feel the chill off the lake and the snow still left around in the the spring setting of the book. I really could visualize the underground worls as well.
Onto the characters Ash is the MC and I loved everything about her she is a swimmer (so was I) so I could completely relate to her issues with nerves on race day. She is an amazing and loyal friend when Tatchi her best friend and Fin Tatch's brother and the boy she loves go missing she stops at nothing to find them. Tatchi is an adorable character I love the fight she has in her she wants to live her own life not the one dictated by the Mer's in Natatoria. On to Fin oh sighs whats there to know about Fin? He's a sexy blonde haired blue eyed merman who can even pull off wearing a kilt look sexy. He's also completely in love with Ash you can feel his passion for her burn right of the page! There's also a sexy baseball player named Callahan who stole my heart I absolutely love baseball players if you don't believe me ask my last two boyfriends lol (both baseball players).
This story had me sucked in on page one and kept me up until 4a.m. reading I guarntee once you pick up this book you will not want to put it down! ...more
