Why you must read A Gentleman in the Street by Alisha Rai: a. Heroine is a billionaire, a rare occupation for any women in Romancelandia (queens, princesses and goddesses don't count) b. Hero is an author and mix of alpha and beta hero. Also have lumberjack physique appearance c. Interracial love. Diverse characters for the win! d. Step sibling love if you like that kind of story. But not ordinary step sibling love of course e. Mandy and Tori, ladies from Smexy Books, my favorite romance blog read and love this. And I always believe their review and ratings f. Seriously guys, just read this!!
Like I had stated earlier in my status, Romancelandia need more billionaire women that can balance their strength and their hearts. I'm a little bit surprised why so many authors choose to write CEO and billionaire men, while in reality there are so many succesful businesswomen out there?
I praise Ms Rai because she can write about a hero and heroine that balanced each other. Jacob might be just an author, even he's a best seller author, his money and status of course lower than his step sister. But, he didn't cower in front of Akira's rich and debauchery life. A nice change for the overused theme of billionaire, and I hope that A Gentleman in Street will be a start for romance that feature strong, succesfull and confident with her sexuality heroines, never ashamed with what she is.
This book also give an example, that a beta hero can act as alpha too when its necessary. Jacob might be desirable if you love lumberjack kind of hero, but it's not his physique appearance that make me love him. Often I read heroes that act as alpha to the heroines that end up I laughing a lot because it's ridiculous or want to kick them in their ass for their "I'm Tarzan, hear me roar!!". Not with Jacob. He act as asshole at first, but he changes and even until the end, he act as an adult he was. He balance his softer and rough side, and that what make him perfect for Akira. Since Akira is so full of doubt and think that she didn't deserve love. He embrace Akira's antique, accept her for what she is and teach her that she capable of love
I like Akira, and her devensiveness toward Jacob, with constantly taunt him sexually are understable. Sure she somehow seems like a child and the drama plus angst can be over the top. But, if we see her fucked up past, readers will sympathize with her.
It had been in self-defense, she assured herself. Driving people crazy was her time-honored way of dealing with those who disapproved of her. Give them exactly what they were looking for and they would never look any deeper
Lucky for Akira, she didn't going crazy have a spoiled rich father and scorned mother, both are sociopath. Her coldness and snark retort are her fortress, but I'm glad that in the end she, like Jacob, can balance both her sides and make amends with her past.
A Gentleman in the Street also one of dirty book (Akira is shameless afterall. And Jacob's fantasies about her is so raunchy!) I'd read this year. A warning first, this have voyeurism, menage, a little f/f and mild BDSM. But, despite the hot level, I can feel the tenderness between Akira and Jacob. When they don't busy bantering with each other, therefore make their sexual tension rocketed up, their cozy moments also make my heart melts.
Oh, also I really love the family theme that Ms Rai feature in a Gentleman in the Street. I love the dynamic between Campbell's family, especially from Jacob's younger siblings. I also praise that Ms Rai don't sugarcoated Akira's relationship with her scorned mother. Make it more real and also show that not all parents love their children dearly, but on the bright side, she also input her insight that people choose their own family. And Akira choose Jacob.
I think everyone who love a good and hot romance should read this book. And yeah, the reverse thing between the hero and heroine is very fresh. Because I'm so tired to read an alpha CEO hero "deflower" a naive or virgin librarian or secretary or something like that heroine :p.

Cooking was a bet on the future, on shared moments with family, friends, a lover. Sarah cooked to carve time now, and in the future,4 BLAZING STARS!!
Cooking was a bet on the future, on shared moments with family, friends, a lover. Sarah cooked to carve time now, and in the future, to make secret shared moments. It was different from bringing over takeout, too. Cooking mean you thought about the food and the person more than dialing a phone number and handing over a credit card. Takeout had its place, but cooking... cooking built a future, one meal at a time
Afternoon Delight gave me so many FEELZ, and like the title, read this indeed is a delight for me :). Whether you read erotica or not, Afternoon Delight is a must if you love contemporary romance, but far from the same old same old trend right now.
A strong, witty, far from TSTL, confident with her sexuality, also a fabulous chef heroine? Check! You will love Sarah, a cook for Symbowl, food truck that delivered soup for your lunch pleasurement. I want to have BFF like her!
A hunky man with beard, paramedic with balls-to-the-wall lifestyle that have commitment issue, afraid to the future, act as jerk near the end, but surprisely, not that kind of ANNOYING JERK hero? Check! Tim will melt your heart (and maybe panties, lol!) with his dedication and gentleman-like attitude to Sarah. Yes, he's somehow hurt Sarah feeling, but it just a litlleeee bit. I really, love love love how he make amends to Sarah! :D
Steamy sex scenes that make you fan yourself and insta lust, but surprisely, not your common sex with benefit, no string attached relationship that feel not like same old, same old trope? Check! . I raised my brow when Sarah and Tim go to Tim's house and they already have sex. BUT, even it kinda insta-lust, there was no question that Ms Calhoun write a HOT SEX SCENE EVER! Sarah sensuality and confident nature make the sex very hot, titillating and exciting in the same time. Tired with all that angst-driven sex scene? Ms Calhoun will deliver you how a sex scene between two adults done well!
And a story that feel so slow, but make you savor it words, it moment after moment, a building romance between h/H, Sarah and Tim. Complete with description of food and deserts that will satisfy your bud. And a glimpse into the Big Apple City. Nuff' said, I thought. ;)
I guess, I will check Anne Calhoun other works. And if you had read hers before, why wait any longer to read this one?

Well.. Even Owning Her Innocence maybe so much more like those "daddy-little girl porn theme"books out there, surprisely there was a plot. An actual plot and a little character development. Ms Riley didn't kidding when she said she want to write a different daddy book and I think she did it well.
The dual POV make the story work, and I like William POV, maybe because he's already mature (my give and take, he is in his 40-ish), while Haley is annoying, whiny and sometimes I imagine her as my own sister because both are 18 years old. Make me have an SUPER AWKWARD moment when read this novelette, because..imagine your own sister that still like a little baby for you to had sex with man that twice her age *shudder*. I just hope that Ms Riley write Haley older, maybe 21 years old more, not 18 years old. Even I know that 18 is legal in USA (and also in my country), but still...
So many sexual tension, spanking (just a little),bonding (just a middle level), a deflowered sex scene (bwahahaha I really said it X)) ) and lot of dirty talk. Daddy smut book not my kind of erotica (insert awkward moment here when you call man you have sex with as "daddy"), but I will recommend this if you love that kind of smut....more

Heroes don't always have swords..
That quote make me stunned. And when I saw the cover, if I'm not read the blurb first, I will never guess that Ein is a bdsm, with GLBT characters. I admit that GLBT theme make me uneasy and well, not my cup of tea, while menage never bothered me. But well, I decide to read this, because I'm so curious like a cat drawed by catnips and request this on NetGalley.
The first words make me go.. wow..
Seraiya- naked, bound to her bed- the silk hair ribbons tying her more securely than any coarse rope. Because she wanted to be there. To be mine
Okay, this sure get my attention. And so begin my journey with Einan, also known as Ein Dustmother. Told from the first POV, Ein is about Einan journey from her study at Servants at Peace, her struggle to keep her lover Seraiya to marry to another man than mistakenly kidnapped by her abductor. This, when she meet Ruel, her Sir, a man who taught her that pain is a pleasure and awake her submissive side (she always be dominant with Seraiya).
Yet, destiny can be so cruel for Ruel died when defend Einan and Einan wake up to find that she heavily pregnant with Ruel's child. Fortunately she have Gran who saved her and Bael, a child who later become her own child and inspired her to take poor child who are Dust. Dust are the lower caste in Guthia, a place Einan lived. Another obstacle then throw to Einan when she find that she must trade her body to a cruel man to save her children. But then, Ein never give up. And like the quote of the cover of this book, in the end Ein and her beloved folks become heroes. Without swords.
If we put aside the GLBT theme and BDSM (yes, this book is so heavy on BDSM), what happen in Ein is very much happen in our world. Human trafficking, child molestation, women who whored herself because they don't have choice to save their dear ones. Ein almost bring me tears, for I feel that life was so cruel to her. Ein is not a damsel in distress, yet when she tortured out of her will I hope that Ruel will finally alive and help Ein again. I will not spoil this, but well, in the end Ein have her own HEA. With her lovers of course.
Sometimes I think Ein can be too forgiving and blaming herself over and over, especially when she make a drastic decision and did something horrible. She also considered herself as a whore and I want to shake her that what she did was necessary. She just.. I don't know if people like Ein exist anymore. I'm stunned to see her kindness, her determine to help people and her strong will.
I know that some people will feel uncomfortable when reading Ein because the BDSM content,same-sex relationship between Ein and Seraiya, and how Seraiya's husband Magnusin do not bother to share his wife with Ein. Their lovemaking make me blush and fanning myself. But also show two side of Ein, her become dominant and submissive when it comes to Ruel as her Sir. I think this matter addresed beautifully and make sense. But I have a little bit complain. I feel that Seraiya somehow too childish, and well she have so many blessing and love, either its from Ein or her husband Magnusin. While Ein was so tortured :(.
Because Ein is so much a fantasy book (with a hint of dystopia), I always paid attention to the world building and the history. So basically there are 2 country at wars, Cedesian and Guthian. Cedesian folks are cruel but their people also intermarried with Guthian people. Cedesian also can wield magic, show by Web, one of Einan's foster children (Einan have like 20 children, 2 are her own children, the rest are dust children that left by their parents). Ein and so many people in Guthian worship Yoel, a Goddess of Peace, and sometimes Ein think that the Goddess speak to her. The fantasy and magic part just a little, becaue Ms Black concern to the humanity aspect, but it still make the story rich.
So, if you are open-minded enough and not easily disturbed with erotica and violence content of Ein, I suggest to read this book. Well, I think everyone must read Ein, for some part of this book is very much connected with our world, and you can skip the erotic part.
...sometimes you have to stop taking care of other people and take care of yourself so you have more to give everyone later

I think Nailed better written as full novel rather than novella, since some plot can be develop into something more and the relationship between h/H, Sophie Hollbrook and Fynn Babineau is too fast, the chemistry is not too good. While the sex scenes were steamy and sizzling, I wonder if 1st POV make readers don't know how Fynn feel about Sophie. IMO, better to write this in 3rd POV and alternate it to Sophie then Fynn, so I can relate to them both. What make Nailed interesting is just the TV show and home improvement concept.
Recommended if you want to read a quick and steamy read.

I often hear about Cara McKenna, that she write some best erotica story. I want to read her Willing Victim, but I'm just too freaked out to read about the "almost-rape" theme. Nor that I have time to read her other works (sound cliche, eh?). So, when Harlequin Cosmo Red Hot Read have "Her Best Laid Plans" on Netgalley, I snatched a copy. Not just because I want to try Ms McKenna's work, but the blurb catched my interest. Set in Ireland with a hot-to-trot man with sexy accent? Sold!
When I read read the part when Ms McKenna describe the hero (blue eyes, dark blonde hair, sexy accent and voice, chocky charm), my mind scream "OMG, ROARKE, ROARKE, ROARKE!!!. See, I always want to go to Ireland, because I read In Death series and people who know me maybe already know my (un)healthy obsession to Roarke. Yes, I know it's silly to want to go to Ireland, just to meet my own Roarke. Now, happily married to my sweetheart, I kinda buried my hope to go to Ireland. But reading this novella, renew my dream to go to Ireland again.
Her Best Laid Plans is a simple, fun and steamy short read. Perfect if you want to have a quick read. Basically the story just a fling between Jamie Webb and Connor Kelleher, how even just met for 2 days they decide to have "no strings attached" relationship. All get complicated when Jamie realized that she want to be with Connor forever, not just a holiday affair. But she also can't abandon her first plan, to become a commander for her own plan and future.
What make me love this novella is how Ms McKenna describe about Ireland. Lush and simply beautiful. I find myself transferred to the Pub when Jamie first met Connor, to Cork Harbour when Connor took Jamie to her lesson, to feel all Jamie's experience in Ireland. My, I hope that someday I really, really can go to Ireland! To see the green hill, a mist that rumored surround the island, a blue ocean that will make me feel drowned on it.
Even just a short story, Ms McKenna make us can relate to both her characters. I see that Connor somehow is too good to be true, and I don't know that why he's so shy at first to Jamie while he already her 5 years senior. I see his personality is contradictive. Shy, yet can be bold. Charming and also dirty in bed. For Jamie, hmm, I somehow do not want she think too hard to herself. While I praise her to her confidence and her decision to stick with her plan. This couple is somehow is too sweet for me, but when it comes to sex, just one word. Wowza! Ms McKenna sure know how to write a sizzling and scorching sex scene. Make me want to check her other books (ehm!)
Need a quick sweet and fun read with sizzling hot sex that set in Ireland also sweet and fun? Just read Her Best Laid Plans, you will disappointed if you miss this :).

Early this year, I read a debut full length novel from Jocelyn Han, Make You See Stars and really enjoy it. So when the next installment from Stardust series, Chase You To The Sun available on NetGalley, didn't take a long time for me to request it. But, because I have so many books to read, I just can read this last night.
The story is about Svetlana Ivanova, that go under name Lana Petrova because she had been targeted by the rebels that despised her father's business. But her disguise blow up after Bruce Randall, a famous space pirate kidnap her in order to stop Ivanova business. And the story goes with what I said as a classic "stockholm syndrome" theme, with Lana and Bruce slowly fall into each other. But, NA book (or so it seems, because Lana is 23 years old) will never be complete without angst and drama. So, Lana and Bruce must face their difference to make the relationship work.
Honestly, I like Make You See Stars (Alen & Tori) more than this one. Lana, imho, too meek and not show much a bravado. People said that she is brave, but it more like tell not show. What lack from this book is the sexual tension not too sizzling like the previous, but Ms Han top off the erotic part. Chase You To The Sun is HOTTER than its predecessor. A fact that Bruce is criminal, way older than Lana (12 years up to her age) make their sex scenes are scorching hot. Ms Han also add some scene that might be considered taboo is you are into vanilla sex , but I don't mind with it. Even when Lana and Bruce have sex first, I feel that it's too fast and not enough sexual tension.
The story somehow too simple compare with the previous book and the secondary characters not too memorable except for Chester and the Japanese brothers. What I love is the diversity of the characters. I admit I kinda bored to read about American characters, so it fresh to read about European, especially from Russia. There's no villain (will not count Bruce's perv hacker, John, as villain), because the problem is in worldwide scale. Chase You To The Sun is simply a love story between Lana and Bruce.
If you want to read an erotic space opera with a dangerous hero that will never take "no" as answer but have a golden heart, read Chase You To The Sun....more

A sexy, scorching hot and laugh out loud funny story . Tiffany Reisz will always be my author to go for erotic romance :)
Told the story about Beatrize, or Miss Bea Haven, a sex toy (and education) blogger extraordinairre. So, yes, she got paid for having orgasm. I wonder why there's no sex blogger in my country, Indonesia. But I think there will be uproar here ;). When attend Claudia,Bea's foster sister, she must review "The Manual", book about sex position, so yeah she need a partner.
Enter Ben, Bea's old flame when she was in college. Ben made a big mistake with avoiding Bea'a offer to have sex with her. But now 5 years later, both are adult and Ben is more than eager to assist Bea in her "research". It's funny to see they have sex, and then Bea review it for her blog! There's a funny twist near the end that caused by Henry, Ben's friend and Claudia's fiance'.
This is so different from The Sinners series, tamer and somehow vanilla. But I still love it! Misbehaving is erotic re-telling of Shakespeare's play "Much Ado About Nothing". Haven't see or read the play, I can enjoy the story without compare it to the original. Bea and Ben is so sweet, their story is so heartwarming, especially how they finally declare their love to each other, make me have a fuzzy and warm feeling (it's not bad actually!). The other couple, Henry and Claudia is so funny, but they care about Ben and Bea so they do anything to reconcile them. A bellshop name Keaton make a comic relief here, and have so much funny one liner.
Alas, the story is too short and I want more about Bea and Ben. Also, before reading this, I browse so many pic of Benedict Cumberbatch, and when I know the hero's name is Ben.. well, I can't stop imagine Benedict do many dirty things! He's British and also have a sexy voice, so yeah my imagination running wild last night ;).
Thanks for write this story, Ms Reisz. I expect more funny and erotic story from you :)

Favorite quote : “Oh, hey, kettle, I’m pot and wow, you’re black."
Tie Me finally give reader what they want after read Owen's story in Touch Me. Yes, it's time for emo and full of angst Sole Regret's rhytm guitarist, Kellen Jamison. If you had read the previous novellas, you will know that Kellen is still mourn over his dead fiance, Sara, so he don't want to have sex with any women. Pleasure them? Oh yes? But sinking his body and have sex with them? He will violated his promise to Sara.
I think 5 years will make Kellen move on, but actually he's not ready. This is what make his friendship with Owen strained. In Touch Me, we see that Owen struggle with his feeling to Kellen, wondering if he gay. And well, Kellen feel the same too. Tie Me will explain what happen to them and well, I think the possibility for them to become more than friend, is near zero.
Kellen will finally meet his match, Dawn O'Reilly, a Grammy award winner and prodigy in music world. It's a long and painful journey, all happen in just one night, to make Kellen take one step forward. To get over Sara, and chase his own happines. I admit that Kellen's by far is the most angsty story that Olivia Cunning write. While Kellen's commitment to Sara is maybe overwhealming, I understand him for he remind me of my dear hubby. Yeah, we still alive until now, and to be honest, he is my one and only and so I to him. That make me can relate to Kellen, feel his pain and angst, know that while he start to open his heart to Dawn, deep inside he feel like he cheated to Sara.
For Kellen's perspective, we see that Sara was kinda spoiled girl, whine and whine and whine, also selfish. I think, maybe Kellen hold his promises to Sara, because he feel guilty for her death, not because he loved her so much. Kellen not realize that he confused his guilty feeling with love. I hope that his relationship with Dawn will make him a better man, a man with soul. Not a man with empty shell that forever haunted by his past.
Alas, I still hope that "the bomb" factor from Touch Me will be solved in this novella. If you wonder what is that "bomb" I talk about, it's (view spoiler)[ connected with the prequel, Share Me. One of the girl that have wild sex with all Sole Regret member, 6 month before this series start, Lindsey find that she pregnant. And chance is, one of the member is the father (hide spoiler)]. I see that this new development is unnecessary and kinda girated my nerve.
Don't get me wrong, I still read the next novella. Because, of course all of them end in cliffhanger!
Share Me is prequel of One Night with Sole Regret series. So, like it successor, no HEA (Happily Ever After), and.... no HFN (Happily For Now) either.Share Me is prequel of One Night with Sole Regret series. So, like it successor, no HEA (Happily Ever After), and.... no HFN (Happily For Now) either. You will see the Sole Regret member have sex orgies on Christmas, before they meet their significant other. If you don't want to read they cheat (can't say cheat anyway), move back and don't read. No problem and want a sizzling, scorching and make your panties melt? Read on!
Lyndsey and Vanessa go to charity concert of Sole Regret and like a groupie they are, decide to stalk them. To just have sex. Okay, I'm okay with that. This is just a no string attached kind of story anyway. Lyndsey lust over Owen and Kellen, while Vanessa want to ride Shade (if y' know what I mean). Lucky for them, the member fulfil their Christmas desire. Owen and Kellen like to share their women, and have a wicked way with ropes. Whooo-ey!! Alas, Kellen still grieve over his dead lover and don't want to have sex, but he have his way with his tongue. Riiiiiightt!! Lyndsey is spend the night as happy woman, also watch Owen and Kellen pleasure each other. Just a mild m/m scene my dear, and I guess both not thrilled about the possibility they turn as gay. The night turn up to be more raunchy when Vanessa and Shade decide to ask Lyndsey join their sex debauchery (gosh, my languange! X))
A sex fest, that's what Ms Cunning deliver with Share Me. And for a short story, this novellette more like snack, but will never satisfy you. I don't like how Lyndsey and Vanessa are sound like , sorry, ho. Sooo different from others Ms Cunning's heroine. What I love is the scene when all Sole Regret members give gifts to each other. So warm, and it's the plus of Ms Cunning. She can write a very good bromance scene. She also stated that this prequel will somehow connected with Owen and Kellen's story. Well, I can't wait....more

With "NSFW" word, of course I can't resist the temptation to click the link, despite it is already 4 a.m and I plan to go to gym with my BF. Hooboy, really NSFW indeed! Chester 5000 XVY, written and drawing by Jess Fink is an erotic steampunk graphic novel that will make your smutty heart singing (har, har). The story is about Priscilla, a woman who lived in Victorian era with her husband, Robert a scientist. She's a nympho, and know what she want. Robert, overwhelmed with Priscilla's sexual appetitte then created a robot called Chester 5000 XYV. For what? For his wife of course. So Chester begin to pleasure his new mistress, but turn that his ability to satisfied Priscilla make she love him. Yeah, because Robert also act like jerk, totally abandon her. Can blame Prisicilla to fall in love with Chester. When Robert caught them, he plan to sell Chester. Oy, Robert! You make me (and another readers who adore Chester) so angry! Beside, Chester is way way better that Robert. Now, what happen to Chester? Can Priscilla give up on him to his new mistress?
Well, you can read it all in Jess Fink web. Click this link :
The best part? It's free!! No need to register or paying :D. If you want to read it in book format, Ms Fink already publish Chester 5000 XYV in paperback. As for me, I love the art, the style, the smutty part (lol!) and surprise! The story is good and sweet too. You can't help to fallin' love to Chester. Beside, he's kinda like live vibrator with 1:1 scale. The problem? Well, he's robot. But love doesn't see difference, right? LOL! Just for warning, this graphic novel is for ADULT only. The sex scenes are very, very graphic (even not offend me) and there's even a f/f scene. I will recommend if you love your steampunk steamy and like graphic novel. And the plus part? No dialogue, which make it brilliant!
Note : Not necessary, but you will consider to read Share Me first. It's the prequel of One Night with Sole Regret, feature Owen and Kellen. Because sNote : Not necessary, but you will consider to read Share Me first. It's the prequel of One Night with Sole Regret, feature Owen and Kellen. Because some event of Touch Me are intertwined with Share Me, also make you get to know into Owen-Kellen friendship
So, now the bassist of Sole Regret, Owen Mitchell will finally met his "downfall", aka meet with his significant other in just one night, like his fellow band members. But, there was a little twist. After the event of Share Me, Owen realize that he feel aroused around Kellen. Now, before you ask "are Owen gay?", I admit I'm not sure. He denied to be gay, even his feeling to Kellen now more than friend. Maybe he will end up as bisex, maybe he just confused his feeling to Kellen with his worriness because Kellen seems can't forget his dead fiance. Either way, just Ms Cunning that know the answer.
Caitlyn Hanson had enough with her cheat husband, so when she met Owen, seems like her wildest fantasy will be fulfilled. Yep, I admit this is the first time for me to read about "pegging", lololol! And of course Owen kinda ruin that moment with screaming Kellen's name, instead of Caitlyn. What follow next more like Owen not sure about Kellen, he constantly worried about Kellen (and his feeling too). It's like Touch Me is the story about Owen, Caitlyn and Kellen.
Fortunately, for the last half story, the focus back to how Owen and Caitlyn work their relationship. I always love to read an older woman-younger man theme :). Also Caitlyn do not have a clue about Owen's occupation, and she doesn't like rock music, not like previous heroines. Owen is too sweet somehow, more like a childish version of Eric. He want to make everybody happy. This is why at first I said that he maybe confused his feeling to Kellen, because deep inside he want Kellen to be happy.
Nothing kinky happen, beside the pegging scene (and well, the bondage too. But it was pretty tame). The erotic level is lower than the previous novella, at last that what I feel. Like it predecessor, Touch Me end with cliffhanger. But with a bomb! Make me so pissed off to be honest. I can't wait to know how Olivia will make that "bomb" factor work for the next novella....more

Love blossom in just one night. Just.One.Night. Are there any conclusion of their relationship in the second book aka this book aka Tempt Me? Nope.Nada.Zero.Zing. That's also the problem with Tempt Me. You not make a problem and not write the conclusion, JUST BECAUSE THIS ONE IS NOVELLA AND NOT A FULL-LENGTH NOVEL,WOMAN!!
Sorry, I'm just kidding, Olivia ;). But yeah, I don't like the way she write the ending. The problem with Adam's drug habit and his addict father is not solved in this one. Even this book is still sexy, I also find it not... sexy. Confused? Me too :/. The main characters, Adam Taylor, the main guitarist and Madison Fairbanks, the drug abuse consultant (okay don't know the right term, sorry) is steady couple. Had know each other for a year and always have sex each time they met. Romantic? Well, maybe that what Madi thought. Me? I can't do that, but hey, that Madison's problem. To choose with a rock star.
The first chapter is interesting and Adam already caught my heart with his adorable feeling to Madison. I always think Adam is like Brian Sinclair from The Sinners! Until, I find his drug habit. Okay, he's now clean and sober. But there's chance he will back, even he work so hard to not become addict again. For Madison. Uh huh. BUT, he admit that he got laid with another women when he's not with Madison. Even he finally feel sorry about that. Ehm, dude, that cheating. I don't like cheating in my book. Ever. The other thing that bothered me is Madison seems to eager to work up Adam. Um,long time no see make she hot and bothered, but pass border of naughty girl (maybe its harsh if I think she kinda slutty? :/) I'm a little bit disturbed.
Thing that save this book, beside the romance is just okay for me, and the sex scenes is still hot hot hot (but become a little bit boring with all that talk), is the friendship and bromance between Sole Regret member. Oh, and the stage performance part! This is why I love Olivia Cunning's books (this and The Sinner). I always love to read how she write the bromance, how each member care with their own way. For Tempt Me, there's unresolving problem between Adam and their vocalist Shade, which remind me a lot with Sed from Sinners. And of course, we don't know what exactly the problem betwen that two :/.
Final words, do I love this? Umm, I like the first book than this. Do I still want to read the next book,Take Me ? Yeah, bring it on! Hope its get better and... even just one night, please don't make unresolve problem again! :(...more

Another great installment to Sinners on Tour series. Might be a little weird since Jace's book supposed to released early before Double Time (or Trey's). But that's the publisher decision. Olivia Cunning make me love The Sinners boys again and again, and now she make Jace and Eric finally understand each other.
The D/s scenes is very hot but read how Jace struggle to let go his past and his demon with Aggie's help really break my heart. Aggie also have mummy issues and its so delightful to read how they solve their problem.
Sinners on Tour will always be my favorite erotica series, and Olivia Cunning is my favorite authors. I'm glad the publisher still use sexy cover that feature a couple. Not make it like some re-realeased of erotica novels that just have one image and one color. Boring, IMO. I would love to read more about Sinners and I hope Ms Cunning not just end the series with Trey's. Maybe she can expand the story, lol. No anything weird happen in this book, just voyeurism scene from Eric (like usual). The D/s scene is still can be read and will not make you uncomfortable.
The next is Eric's book in Wicked Beat. And since I like reading in orders, I will read Trey's after Eric's :).
If you love reading erotic story that full of sappy romance, don't read this.
If you love HEA at your booFavorite quote : "God, I love a man who reads"
If you love reading erotic story that full of sappy romance, don't read this.
If you love HEA at your books, don't read this.
But, if you love read a book with plot that so emotional even its don't have HEA, Seven Day Loan might be the solution for your problems
Seven Day Loan is story about Eleanore (who I realize, she will become the main character of The Siren), a trained submissive who had been loaned to her master's friend, Daniel, for seven days. Daniel, a Dominant, is widower whose his wife had died for 3 years ago and prisoning himself at his home. First, they just fuck each other, until Eleanore find out that Daniel is librarian, much like her. They start arrange his book, knowing each other beside fucking, and the seven days start running without anybody can stop it. Eleanore find out she can't leave Daniel, but she can't leave her Master too. Even Daniel said to her to not leave him, Eleanor afraid. If all she can do is just to say.. no.
Almost weep. That's one of my reaction when reading this novella. I just read one of Tiffany Reisz book, Immersed in Pleasure and I'm already hooked. I love her voice, her way with words, and how romantic that book even its labeled as erotica. Seven Day Loan is the opposite. There's no romance, there's no HEA, but then there's love. Because love is sometime need no HEA. Eleanor's love to Daniel is different from her love to her Master, but its still love. I know some readers will find this book is not romantic at all, but I don't mind with it. In the end you can't help to love both characters, Eleanore and Daniel.
BTW there something that maybe will offended readers like (view spoiler)[The fisting scene that make me cringed, but other sex scenes is okay with me (hide spoiler)]
Overall, I will recommend this to anyone who love erotica that have plot, interesting character and doesn't mind with no HEA. Tiffany Reisz again prove herself to be one of promising and the rising star of erotica authors!

The definition of DNF : Do Not Finish.
After reading half part of this book, I give up! God, help me. I can't bear this any longer and need to bleach my mind after reading the humility and stupidity that is The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty.
Or,is it The Spanking of Sleeping Beauty?.
The Prince aka Captain Spank remind me a lot of Jeoffrey from Games of Thrones. Wonder if George.R.R.Martin got his inspiration from this one? Beauty herself has courage, but what she do? When the Captain Spank order her to do humiliating things, she just do it. Kiss me, Beauty. Put your hand behind your neck, Beauty. Don't you dare to glance to other male slave, Beauty. Blah, blah, blah. All in the name of love and tenderness, gaaaaah!!
Someone must punish, spank, forbid A.N Roquelaure or Anne Rice to write this one. Such a waste of paper, money and time #snicker.
BTW, read Dina's review here, and for book 2 , and book 3. Bless her for the patience when reading the books....more

The sex scene still hot too, there are a scene when the heroine pegging one of the men (if you don't know what pegging is, wikipedia have the description about it). But other than that, the story is so simple. There some aspect I don't like, such the heroine sleep and having sex with another guy because she don't want to break her gay best friends relationship. Even she love them. Turn that this two friends of her, love and want to have sex with her. The question is, is it love or just merely a lust?
Perfect for people who love to read erotica without too much thinking. Otherwise, read another books...more

The hero's name,Paolo and the model that portrayed him on the cover kinda remind me of Fabio. You don't know Fabio? o_O I suggest you to see any bodice-ripper romance novel that published at 1980-1990 era to know what I mean.
If Laura -part Higland Hussy part Fabio admirer- Hunsaker read this review, I think you must read the book. And pretend yourself to be Fabio.. err Paolo's sub. (just kidding, Laurie!! :p)...more

Even I love reading erotica, there some lines that I'm not dare to cross it yet. Especially for same genre loving, gay and lesbian. Joey W Hill can write a good story, emotional and intense. But this one just too much for me. I read Thomas and Marcus first sex scene, when Marcus punish Thomas for leaving him. And I can forced my self to read it. But when they go to BDSM club, that's it. I can't continue reading.
I guess, it took a big courage to read gay and lesbian story. Since its still taboo at my culture. I think I will stick to menage erotica, while its have m-m scene, I can enjoy it. Maybe because its not the main focus of the story, and usually both men both love the woman. I can accept that....more

Makasih y Bang, udah dikasih makan, diobrak - abrik rumahnya, direcoki pula koleksi buku di rumahnya :)). Sekalian jadi buku ke 50 yang dibaca tahun ini, oh, hiiiiks!! X)
Baca Birunya Fira Basuki jadi keinget diskusi GRI yang sayang sih aku g ikutan kemaren, bahas "sex in literature". Kenapa ga ikut Ren? Cuma kadarnya masih mild, g terlalu eksplisit.
Nah, ada lagi salah kaprah, kalau erotica g pake romance , jatuhnya jadi porn. SALAH BESAR SODARA-SODARA!!! (sengaja dicapslock). Masalah karakternya based on sex, tapi tidak ada happy ending.
Jadi pengen baca "sastra wangi" macam Birunya Fira Basuki. Ada rekomendasi?

Twice Upon a Time is the second book of Lover Leap series by Olivia Cunning. Since the events ofNot as good as the first Loving on Borrowed Time :|.
Twice Upon a Time is the second book of Lover Leap series by Olivia Cunning. Since the events of this book is continued from the first, so we must read the first book, Loving on Borrowed Time. The main story is about a sexy archaelogist Reece Jericho who found an ancient amulet and travel back one year before to meet his fiancee, Lara Kensington. He do it to prevent Lara's death. And after that they will leap trough many times, inhabit a stranger body and often solve their problem, especially in romance. The first book make them leap to medieval Viking and Victorian English. In this book, they leap to Turkish harem place in Ottoman era and Japan when samurai and ninja exist.
My problem with this book is the amount of sex scene. While the first is just on steamy level (with many teasing and sexual tension), this one considered as erotica. Not surprised if we know that Olivia Cunning herself is erotica author. But the content really bother me. There's f/f, m/f//f, m/f/m/f and mild m/m. Also a mild bondage and submission. I think its a surprise if we compare with the previous. Even this book still have plot, but I get annoyed with Lara that demand Reece to make love to her. Its feel like this :
Lara : I have an itch Reece : I will scratch it for you Lara : Do.It. Now. Reece : Anything you wish, my lady.
Yeah, something like that :/. I want their sexy times really sexy, even its bordering erotic, I want it sexy, not rushed :(
Like the first, this one is end in cliffhanger too, when Lara finally found Reece's ugly truth. Now, I'm frustated to know the next story, lol! ...more
