No matter who she writes about. She can bring pain into someone's soul and repair all of their broken hearts within the same book. Breaking The Rules is no exception. I loved Noah and Echo in PTL but I love them even more now.
Nothing is ever going to be simple for these two. They have too many demons and have experienced so much pain that it makes it hard for either of them to fully trust, not only themselves, but each other. That doesn't stop them from trying everything they have to prove every one wrong, especially themselves.
BTR takes place right after PTL ends and we spend the end of summer with Echo and Noah. They were so sure that their summer together was all that they needed to be free. They swore that no matter what and against all odds that they were going to be it for each other.
As all great stories go they find themselves hitting a few speed bumps along the way. But the adventure that they go on is worth experiencing their heart ache and watching them repair themselves and each other in the process.
Noah and Echo find the what the true meaning of family is in BTR. Katie has never disappointed me before and she sure didn't now!! Congratulations on breaking my heart with every book you write! In a great way! ...more

Kelley is an ex-marine, who now works private security. He has had his eye's on Bee for years but he doesn't know if he can truly cross that line. But when Bee finds herself in life threatening danger, Kelley finally realizes he may not be able to keep his distance any longer.
I really loved that this book had an active and intriguing storyline that is fast paced and exciting. It keeps you on your toes and the steamy scenes aren't horrible either :)
The side character's are easy to fall in love with. Winn and Sully hold a special place in my heart and I hope to have more of them in the future.
A very well written book with great character's and a sweet love story. Love isn't always roses but if you love someone enough, you can manage anything life throws at you, together.
I adored this book and I cannot wait to read Jacks story...more

I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did but it was a great story all around. The character's are fascinating and the chemistry between Mia and Adam is sizzling.
I was a little skeptical about the storyline and I honestly wasn't sure how Ms. Aubrey was going to be able to make this work without it becoming something horrid but she did. I was sucked into the story from the beginning and I fell in love with Mia and Adam immediately.
What I think I loved most about this book was the realism to it. It wasn't over the top and it wasn't an in your face book about sex. Sure there are some hot scenes but it was realistic. The character's have real problems, facing real life situations. Well for the most part.
This is a great New Adult novel and if you want to read a book with a strong female lead and an equally strong male lead who fall down the rabbits hole into new, uncharted territory, then this is the book for you. ...more

The storyline was well written. The love story was realistic and the concept was unique and genuine. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect with this one. The fact that it's about a modern day moonshine operation kind of threw me for a loop but it was intriguing and best of all new. What I mean by new, is that this is a storyline that I have not yet come across in all my years of reading and blogging. It's different and fresh and I think that is what enticed me most to keep reading.
The character's are fascinating and have tons of depth. The writing style is flawless and I had no trouble keeping track of Lulu's thoughts. I really liked that it was almost written like a letter. My Best Everything is a great coming of age story.
Lulu and Mason's relationship is much like what you think it would be. Good girl with bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks but I think what is really interesting is how both character's seemed to switch roles. As Lulu continues on the path that is going to take her towards her future, she starts to loose herself. The reasons why she started with the whole operation continue but she starts to realize that she is willing to do things she never thought she would, whether those actions are good or bad.
Lulu and Mason mean the world to each other. They both knew that as soon as summer was over Lulu planned to leave but as the summer continued they both fell, hard, and I am not sure if either of them realized just how much it was going to hurt.
I would have to say that Seth and his trouble added the perfect amount of animosity to the book. It gave us what we needed, in terms of chaos and revenge.
My Best Everything is a unique and thrilling tale. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

Two people who were told by everyone they love me that they cannot and should not be together. They come from two different worlds and they would never be good enough for one another. The Truth About Us is an emotional journey that you will want to be apart of.
I really enjoyed this book. I was in tears by the end of it. The Truth About Us is an emotional roller coaster. One minute I was laughing out loud and the next I was crying.
The chemistry between Flynn and Jess is undeniable. They have a great connection and it was thrilling to be able to along for the ride with them while they try to figure out where they fit into each other's lives.
I would have to say that my favourite character was actually Wilf. That grouchy old man definitely has a place in my heart. The quick, witty back and forth banter between Wilf and Jess had me smiling. He is the Grandpa that I always wanted.
Flynn's little brother Kyle is the cutest fictional five year old in the world. I just had to point that out. If anyone disagrees with me, keep it to yourself :)
I like the growth that Jess went through throughout the book. She has made some mistakes in her past, but who hasn't. She finally recognizes that who she is becoming, is not the person she wants to be.
I have read a couple other titles from Janet but I have to say that this one, was by far, my favourite. ...more

At first the beginning of the story started off great but I feel like we were kind of hit in the face with Lucian and Lia. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love them together but I wasn't thrilled with how strong Lucian came on. Just for the beginning of the story I feel like he was a little crass and unbelievable but don't let that ruin the book for you because we quickly get over that.
The story is great. As much as it is steamy and sexy, the plot is really intriguing and Sydney has no problem keeping you entertained. I love that both character's have their demons that they are fighting to overcome and how well Lia and Lucian mesh together. The chemistry is undeniable and thrilling.
The secondary character's are extremely entertaining as well. Sydney does a good job of making them unique and memorable.
I really enjoyed Pierced and I was glad that the storyline grew as the book went on and wasn't just all steam and sex.

He is sincere and loving and all he wants is for his life to finally make sense.
I really love that we were able to get Lucas' side of the story. I always wondered what it was like. I really love that we get both his present view and his past. The flip through between Landon and Lucas made the story that much more dynamic.
I loved Easy but I honestly love Breakable more. I felt my heart being ripped into pieces and put back together right along with Lucas'. I can't praise this book enough. The emotion is there and the heart ache. The triumphs and success right along with the failures brings you closer to these character's.
I laughed out loud and I cried onto the pages. I loved every second of this book and I hope that there will be more Lucas in the future! ...more

A great story of finding oneself and going after what you want despite what other's have to say about it.
Jesse and Lucy's romantic week together in Italy did not end the way she expected. Lucy knew that it was going to be short lived but their romance was so much more to her than she ever expected it to be. But as all good stories go, she couldn't stay forever and ended up having to leave him in Europe.
Being back home doesn't lessen her feelings for Jesse one bit. But as reality sets in can Lucy really have what she wants? Or will she end up doing exactly what her father wants and leave all her dreams behind?
You must read Love,Lucy, It was a fantastic read and had the most romantic setting. It was realistic in the problems that Lucy faced and had the most important element of all, a love story....more

Seriously try and disagree with me :) No Regrets has everything I love about a book. It it fast paced, romantic, exciting and has just the right amount of danger. I am in love with this genre right now and I especially love that Grey is a fighter. I have a thing with mixed martial arts and Heather got it right. I knew from the start that nothing was what it seemed in this book. The relationship between Grey and Mollie was off to me. Once you read the book you will understand what I mean. But I know for a fact that this book wouldn't have been as good as it was without that odd relationship. I adore Christina and Grey. Their friendship brings the perfect mix of love and kindness into the story. Grey's protectiveness of his sister is sweet. I love how close and strong Heather made their relationship and I love how she combined Trinity's life and Grey's life together. No Regrets isn't overly sexual which was a nice change but you can definitely feel the chemistry between the characters. Heather ended this book so perfectly. I NEED the next book. I am looking forward to seeing where Grey's story takes him next! ...more
