I loved every single character. Seriously in most books you can find a second or third character, or even a main character. that you don't really like or didn't connect with but with Breaking Sky each and every character brought something special and important to the table. They each brought a special part to the book and I do not think the book would have been the same without each and every one of them.
Nyx and Arrow are memorable to say the least. The chemistry and that they have is undeniable. But the relationship that I loved even more was between Nyx and Pip. It was a unique partnership and they both needed each other equally. The bond that they share comes across the pages of the book and will dig deep into your heart.
I loved it and I would most definitely recommend this book....more

I am absolutely blown away. This book was not at all what I was expecting. It was a lot darker then what I usually read but I was captivated and enthralled throughout the entire book. The relationship between Blue, Ark and JD is not a conventional one by any means and they take this relationship to level's that are beyond any "norms". This novel was both beautiful and tragic. You have three character's who are so tortured in different ways trying to muddle through their lives and their feelings for one another. What most people look at as being "wrong" or abnormal, they make into something so beautiful. They take their pain and anguish and throw everything they have into each other. They explore themselves and their limits and they do it all together. Ark and JD's relationship is a co-dependent relationship for sure. But then again all of them are dependent on the other, but it works. It's hard to explain but it works. Blue's love for both of these men causes heart ache and pain and tragedy. The love is genuine and Blue is able to bring out the love that Ark and JD have for each other. Would it have happened if she hadn't come into their lives, probably not. But she does and is spectacular. This book invoked a wide range of feelings and emotions from me. I was able to look past the sex and see what J.A was trying to get across. It wasn't about the sex. It was about the character's themselves. Their connections to one another. I know I've said this already but it was just..Beautiful. There really is no better way for me to describe it. Throughout the anguish and pain something truly pure comes out of it.
This was probably the easiest review that I have been able to write in a long time. I loved it. This is the first book from J.A that I have read but I am so excited to read more from her.
I am going to have to give this a 3 and a half stars. I liked the book well enough but I just didn't love it. Lorrie to me is a bit on the defenceless side. While her back story is tragic and her duress is understandable, I felt like she was depending too much on Hunter to save her. She wasn't taking the steps she needed to help herself. While I am a fan of those whirlwind, tumble, all or nothing relationships, this one seems to be a little bit too much at times.
Hunter is fantastic. You had me at MMA Fighter. While Hunter has his own issues that he needs to deal with his fixation on Lorrie is a bit unnerving at times. While he is cute and adorable, he has some a hard time telling the truth. He fell hard and fast for Lorrie.
I am a bigger fan of Hunter than I am Lorrie that is for sure. Wrecked is an enjoyable read don't get me wrong but at some times the story felt a little forced.
While I am not all in out in love with Wrecked I will definitely be reading Rescued. This is one of those stories that you need to continue on to the sequel just to see how it all plays out! ...more

Her writing is fantastic and her character's are yummy and charismatic and so undeniably sexy. Manwhore did not disappoint. This page turner will leave you wanting more. Malcolm Saint lived up to everything that I was hoping he would. Katy brings him to life and makes you want a real live version of him.
I truly loved every second of this book. Rachel and Malcolm are something special. What was supposed to be a story for the magazine where she works, turns Rachel's life upside down. Takes her on a wild ride that she was not prepared for in the least. She was supposed to expose Malcolm Saint..not fall in love with him.
But it turns out that Malcolm isn't at all what the world thought he was. Is Rachel really prepared to do what she has to do in order to save her job?
The chemistry between them is undeniable. I was laughing and screaming throughout parts of this book. I wanted to kick Rachel multiple times. I wanted her to just get over it and realize how she felt about him and own it.
I was sooo not happy with the way the book ended. It was so good and bad at the same time. The way Katy ended Manwhore leaves you needing to read book 2. She definitely accomplished getting you hooked into the story. I am highly anticipating book 2 and would love for it to be out now. But sadly it is not so I will just have to cry and wait for it to be released.
Fantastic job Katy. Another great book of yours that I can add to my library!!...more

No matter who she writes about. She can bring pain into someone's soul and repair all of their broken hearts within the same book. Breaking The Rules is no exception. I loved Noah and Echo in PTL but I love them even more now.
Nothing is ever going to be simple for these two. They have too many demons and have experienced so much pain that it makes it hard for either of them to fully trust, not only themselves, but each other. That doesn't stop them from trying everything they have to prove every one wrong, especially themselves.
BTR takes place right after PTL ends and we spend the end of summer with Echo and Noah. They were so sure that their summer together was all that they needed to be free. They swore that no matter what and against all odds that they were going to be it for each other.
As all great stories go they find themselves hitting a few speed bumps along the way. But the adventure that they go on is worth experiencing their heart ache and watching them repair themselves and each other in the process.
Noah and Echo find the what the true meaning of family is in BTR. Katie has never disappointed me before and she sure didn't now!! Congratulations on breaking my heart with every book you write! In a great way! ...more

Kelley is an ex-marine, who now works private security. He has had his eye's on Bee for years but he doesn't know if he can truly cross that line. But when Bee finds herself in life threatening danger, Kelley finally realizes he may not be able to keep his distance any longer.
I really loved that this book had an active and intriguing storyline that is fast paced and exciting. It keeps you on your toes and the steamy scenes aren't horrible either :)
The side character's are easy to fall in love with. Winn and Sully hold a special place in my heart and I hope to have more of them in the future.
A very well written book with great character's and a sweet love story. Love isn't always roses but if you love someone enough, you can manage anything life throws at you, together.

I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did but it was a great story all around. The character's are fascinating and the chemistry between Mia and Adam is sizzling.
I was a little skeptical about the storyline and I honestly wasn't sure how Ms. Aubrey was going to be able to make this work without it becoming something horrid but she did. I was sucked into the story from the beginning and I fell in love with Mia and Adam immediately.
What I think I loved most about this book was the realism to it. It wasn't over the top and it wasn't an in your face book about sex. Sure there are some hot scenes but it was realistic. The character's have real problems, facing real life situations. Well for the most part.

The storyline was well written. The love story was realistic and the concept was unique and genuine. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect with this one. The fact that it's about a modern day moonshine operation kind of threw me for a loop but it was intriguing and best of all new. What I mean by new, is that this is a storyline that I have not yet come across in all my years of reading and blogging. It's different and fresh and I think that is what enticed me most to keep reading.
The character's are fascinating and have tons of depth. The writing style is flawless and I had no trouble keeping track of Lulu's thoughts. I really liked that it was almost written like a letter. My Best Everything is a great coming of age story.
Lulu and Mason's relationship is much like what you think it would be. Good girl with bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks but I think what is really interesting is how both character's seemed to switch roles. As Lulu continues on the path that is going to take her towards her future, she starts to loose herself. The reasons why she started with the whole operation continue but she starts to realize that she is willing to do things she never thought she would, whether those actions are good or bad.
Lulu and Mason mean the world to each other. They both knew that as soon as summer was over Lulu planned to leave but as the summer continued they both fell, hard, and I am not sure if either of them realized just how much it was going to hurt.
I would have to say that Seth and his trouble added the perfect amount of animosity to the book. It gave us what we needed, in terms of chaos and revenge.
My Best Everything is a unique and thrilling tale. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

Two people who were told by everyone they love me that they cannot and should not be together. They come from two different worlds and they would never be good enough for one another. The Truth About Us is an emotional journey that you will want to be apart of.
I really enjoyed this book. I was in tears by the end of it. The Truth About Us is an emotional roller coaster. One minute I was laughing out loud and the next I was crying.
The chemistry between Flynn and Jess is undeniable. They have a great connection and it was thrilling to be able to along for the ride with them while they try to figure out where they fit into each other's lives.
I would have to say that my favourite character was actually Wilf. That grouchy old man definitely has a place in my heart. The quick, witty back and forth banter between Wilf and Jess had me smiling. He is the Grandpa that I always wanted.
Flynn's little brother Kyle is the cutest fictional five year old in the world. I just had to point that out. If anyone disagrees with me, keep it to yourself :)
I like the growth that Jess went through throughout the book. She has made some mistakes in her past, but who hasn't. She finally recognizes that who she is becoming, is not the person she wants to be.
I have read a couple other titles from Janet but I have to say that this one, was by far, my favourite. ...more
