As those of you who read my reviews will already know I do not like to go into too many specific details bout the book as I think this spoilt it for the readers. What I will say is I was really impressed with this book.
the book follows the story of Drew a dancer who has been through a horrific trauma is trying to live her life day by day a MMA Prize Fighter Heath who also has his own problems he is trying to put to bed and again get on with his life.
Obviously without me giving away the plot it is a boy meets girl, but with such a different edge. The book was funny, sarcastically brilliant, very dark in places and brought to me to tear, absolutely brilliant. The way the writer handled the subject matter I thought was amazing. So many books the main character meets a significant other, and the most painful memories just disappear..poof!! not in this book, Drew learns to overcome them slowly which I loved and the intimate scenes didn't start until at least 47% into reading. So when you got to them you were already in love with the characters and not put off by sex scene after sex scene with no real emotions involved.
I will definitely be racing the author again. Loved it ;) (less)

Rylee Thomas happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and find herself falling into the arms of Colton Donovan, a head strong gorgeous race car driver who sets his sights on her and promises to get what he wants.
"I can’t give him what he wants and he can’t give me what I need. But after a glimpse beneath his refined exterior into the dark secrets of his damaged soul, can I bring myself to walk away?
I fought this book was really good, there is a lot of this genre around and I find some of the books slightly menotinus, and far to similar to '50 Shades' or the 'Bared To You Trilogy' I found this book or possibly the style or writing refreshing.
But can't believe how the author ended it...........book two here I come! (less)

Having seen it come up on lots of recommendation sites from me, I have been meaning to download it for ages. And I am slightly disappointed in myself for waiting soo long.
I have read a lot of books this year that have been great, but this was superb! filled with very witty banter, I found myself laughing out loud frequently and being taken on a beautiful love story. I am looking forwards to the next book in the series.(less)
I was kindly given this book for free by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Having found out her boyfriend of few years is cheating on her Alexandra decided to leave the city life of New York behind for a quiet life on her Aunts cotton fields in her home town of Georgia whilst she gets her head together. As soon as Blaise enters the story you know there is going to be a whole heep of chemistry!!
I really enjoyed the book, this is not the first one I have read by the author, but I really like her style of writing. For me it really flows and I find myself instantly warming to the characters she portays. However there were parts in the book where I felt it dragged, I keep thinking really...again! Also it become apparent from the beginning that Alexandra is hiding a secret, I felt alittle let down once it was reaveled, I felt like, is that it?! I am glad I stuck with it though because after finishing the book I found I had really enjoyed it, and will definitely be reading more of the authors work.
