I Didnt like this book just to get my point out there, they made the whole fact of going to a new world so un original and not cool, though crazy things happen it just felt so fake and boring....more

After a long fall he finds himself in the whimsical, creepy and somewhat frail, Underland, an immense land right under our world, filled with humongous versions of many household pests we see in today’s life (bats, cockroaches, rats and spiders). All of these creatures live in a fragile state of peace with the humans of underland, but this peace is about to fall apart. With time ticking and his growing need to get home safely with his little sister, Gregor finds that he plays an important role in the future safety of the humans of Underland, and that role may be his only ticket home...
Gregor the Overlander is a really good book, that many people would think are just for 10 year olds and under (giving the size of the print and the length), but I read it, me being 14 and found many parts of the book can be gory and somewhat disturbing so I really don’t recommend younger children to read it or to be read to, with that said let’s start the review
First let’s talk about the main and important characters like Gregor a very likeable character, who acts very secure and independent when faced with challenges, he never seems to be scared or question his decisions which makes things better or worse and in the Underland many scary things happen and many questions can be asked about Gregors fate, and the fate of his friends, but sometimes Gregory can seem somewhat artificial and fake, Like he never seems to act like a regular 11 year old boy would when faced with scares and challenges.
In Underland Gregor is like a fish out of water always feeling out of it and confused, but his little sister Boots (real name Margaret) always adds a feeling of security and relief to Gregor with her unnecessary outburst and her childish acting it adds a way to always make you happy and smile in the most serious times of despair and doubt. Which is always a good quality in a book it keeps things fun, new and perfectly balanced, which defiantly makes Boots a very important minor character.
This book was really good, but the only problem I had was some of the characters that you meet, sometimes they seem very hollow or unreal, which makes them not relatable and unlikable. They add unwanted thoughts of doubt when reading and makes the book awkward.
Gregor the Overlander is a fantasy book, full of creepy creatures, odd characters and unreal worlds, which makes each new page a fresh and exciting with many things to discover about Underland as well as Gregor himself, which makes this book a gripping, fantasy adventure that always has something new to discover.
In conclusion Gregor the Overlander is a great book, full of an unexplored lands, deep creatures, shallow creatures and one really interesting plot makes a good read, but not so much a must read I rate this book 3 on 5 stars ...more

With her protest against the Capitol during the games, uprisings are starting in the districts. But with Peeta mad at her, Gale pushing her away and her whole world falling apart, will the pressure get to her.
Catching Fire is the second installement in "the Hunger Games" series, and it was fantastic, Suzanne Collins sure knows how to, create an action packed, highly clever and very thought provoking book. with every page comes a new twist or problem, which I found was very fun to read, I am so glad I started this book, and it left me breathless, I very much recomend this book to ages 10+ (because of some inappropriate parts)....more

Katniss Everdeen thinks of the games as a death sentence, but she never would have guessed that her little sister (Primrose Everdeen) would get chosen. Out of complete shock she volunteers to take her place. But the odds are against her, and winning the Hunger Games seems impossible, but Katniss has been in survival situations before and survival is second nature for her, will she survive.
The Hunger Games, was the most thought provoking book I have ever read. After I was finished I would discuss it with my friends and lay in my bed, just trying to understand. Every charcter is so unique and they each have there strenghts and flaws, which makes them very likeable and interesting. The Hunger Games itself, is an adventurous thrill ride that always creates a new way to put Katniss in danger, if not by the other contestants, the enviroment or arena itslef and herself. I very much recomend this book, everyone should read it, but just a warning, do not read it on busy weekdays, because if you do you will not be able to concentrate on anything. READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...more
