Not only that it is paranormal, chicklit romance. That said, I really enjoyed this book. The characters are fun, the sex is steamy but not tacky and the clothes are vintage. And there is really a story, really. And a pretty good story at that. Glory is a full figured vampire who has been around. Now she is opening her own vintage clothing store (vampires in addition to having incredibly good taste are also pack rats). But things get complicated when high tech vampire hunters, old, old lovers and new interests get involved. Give it a try.(less)

This could only be the work of evil computer genius/vampire hunter Westwood. Glory put him out of commission at the end of "Curves" but his minions remain to hassle and hunt. In addition, Glory finds she is the target of the EV's, energy vampires, who use the stored power of old vampires to create Vampire Viagra. Who knew??? Anyway, this is another fun romp with Glory and her friends as they fight evil while looking great right down to their designer shoes.(less)

She is dating someone, her math professor (don't tell anyone), her dad is moving out and she is getting used to her new boss, who is not her favorite guy but hey, she can get along. The only worries they have is the potential strike by grad student assistants which would pull in other unions and grind the university to a halt. But she is not too worried about that. Well not until her new boss, who is running the negotiations with the union, is murdered and the head of the grad student union is arrested for that murder.
Heather is so much fun. In this book we get to see that she really is pulling herself together. Does she really love this guy she is dating? Well, she is still confused about some thing. Great fun. Read the others in the series first to get to know the characters.(less)

Little does she know the can of worms she is opening. The woman, Lucky, is part of a mob family and crazy as a loon. On top of that, someone video'd her "saving" Lucky and is threatening to out Glory on YouTube. But never fear, Glory and her band of paranormal friends manage to handle all their problems while remaining stylish right down to their designer purses.
I love this series. The story is always fun. The writing is very good and and well, believable, considering it is paranormal, chick lit romance. Guilty pleasure(less)

That's right, Sugar Maple is home to every kind of creature to ever populate a Grimm or other fairytale. A protective spell cast by Chloe's ancestor protects the town by making it appear to be the perfect New England day tourist destination, there is never any room in the Inn, literally. But the spell is slipping and one of these tourists ends up dead. This brings unwelcome attention to the town and the state sends in a policeman to temporarily serve until the town can hire one of their own. Now it is up to Chloe to keep the town's secret from this policeman, who, needless to say is a hunk that she finds irresistable. At the same time, she is fighting a battle to keep the town from the clutches of truly nasty fairy.
I enjoyed this bit of paranormal fluff. It is chick lit with designer yarn instead of designer shoes. The town is "Bewitched" on steroids with vampires and other creatures who are just regular folks, for Sugar Maple anyway. The romance is sweet, not sweaty. It is set around Christmas time and is a nice winter nights read.(less)

Now Glory and Ray will be hell bound unless they can find 3 vampires to take their place. Well, the vampire world is full of bad eggs, so Glory and company devise a plan to send some of these evil doers to the siren so she can dispose of them. They are on a tight timeline and at the same time they have to pretend to be engaged for the paparazzi.
This series is so much fun. Even though it is definitely chicklit, there is always action. Glory and her crew of vampires and shapeshifters are hard to resist.(less)

Her marriage is over and she does not want to follow in the steps of her mother and grandmother by marrying mulitple times. But the best laid plans go awry when Lacy's dog discovers an injured man who has a gun and handcuffs. Turns out this is Chase Kelly, a policeman running for his life from a corrupt cop. Slowly, Lacy begins to believe his story and decides to let him stay wtih her until he can get what he needs to clear his name of trumped up charges. But can she resist his charm that long?
This was a fun read. The bit of suspense kept the story moving and the cast of characters were a lot of fun. Lacy and her friends, Sue and Kathy, would make the Sex and the City girls blush. They kept me amused. And don't even let me get started on her mother! The sex is pretty hot and Lacy's inexperience leads to plenty of entertaining dialog although with friends and family like hers it is sometimes hard to believe she could be so naive. Overall, I would say, sit back, enjoy and don't overthink it. If good reads had 1/2 stars this would be 3 1/2 stars.(less)

She has taken care of people and the family business, a shoe store, without thougth to herself. But now she is ready to shake things up. Just as she is ready to bust out, the love her life, Jack Reynolds, returns home to be chief of police after burning out on his life with NYPD. Their reunion causes fireworks and Kylie's desire for change causes heartburn for just about everyone.
I really enjoyed this book. Generally I don't like this much romance, but I found the characters and the town charming. The sex is hot and based on love, not just lust, no matter what Jack may say. Enjoy!(less)

As they travel, they encounter people and events that are related to Betsy. Will Betsy be able to travel through time without warping the future?
I am so glad I have stuck with the series. There was I time when I was almost giving up on it, but the last 2 or so books have been so good. In this one we see Betsy finally relizing how completely self-centered she is and actually beginning to think this is a bad thing. I loved the whole story line in this book. It was different yet it is advancing the story to places I never would have guessed. Some readers seem to think this is the last book in the series. Say it ain't so. I NEED to find out what happens.(less)

She packs up and moves the Grundy, Alaska, escaping her Mississippi roots and overly protective hippie parents. It is pretty drastic, but Mo discovers that she fits right in with the small community. And she finds love. Ant there is just one problem, this love of his life is a werewolf. Yep, there is always a catch.
I just love Molly Harper. I am not that crazy about werewolf books in general, but this one was just so funny and touching. I really like Mo and the other folks who live in Grundy. I also found a soft spot for Mo's nutty parents. There was also a touch of wolfy mystery. I am putting the second book on hold at the library right away.(less)

In the best entry in the series so far (and that is saying a lot!) Lucy is trying to develop her psychic abilities by working with a group of fellow psychics. They are working to solve an old missing person's case and Lucy really wants to find the child alive and well. At the same time there is a serial arsonist in Boston who seems to be targeting Lucy's boyfriend,'s Sean, brother Sam. Confusing much. Well it gets better. Lucy has been hired to find the soul mate of a mysterious man who has come to her because his cat told him to. All this is happening during one of the hottest summers that Boston has ever seen. Much fun ensues.
I love this series. Lucy and her crazy friends and family are always getting into some sort of mess. The romances in the story are sweet. The mystery in this one is very good though I did have a bit of trouble with motive on this one. The book is so much fun, I was able to roll with it. Run, do not walk, to get your copy.(less)
