I just simple adored it. I was slow at reading this first because I was busy with other thing but once I got into I couldnt stop reading it and was up until 2 in the morning. Its about the main character Nora, who is pretty good at school, shes like the good girl yet she panics quite alot I noticed. And then you have the other amazing character Patch. Who's sexy, charming. I think he had like two sides to him, one was playful, cheeky; while the other side was dark, secretive and mysterous. Their love for each other was just like woah the chemistry and the way they meet, totally better then twilight here. The story takes place when after she meets Patch, then a mask figure comes into view all the time trying to kill her. So much happens in this book but if you havent read it I wouldnt want to spoil it but the ending is pretty good. And there's alot of kickass action in here I would say its a little bit of a thriller with some events aswell. (less)

It takes place first of in the 1700 century with Talia and tells of the tale similar to sleeping beauty on how she pricks her finger and sleeps. The story then jumps three hundred so years and thats where one of our main chracters Jack (awesome but slacker) Jack comes into it. He decided to skip his europe tour and ends up coming across a magical place where everyone seems to be asleep and not helping himself he wakes up Talia (Beautiful but bratty) princess. The story then properly starts with this whole adventure happeneing with Talia and Jack running off together to his own country, not by Jacks choice but because Talia is not on good terms with her family. The story is about Talia understand the meaning of a different century on how different it is compared to her own time, the story of Jack and Talia falling in love and how the evil witch Malvolia is still alive and set out on making sure that Talia goes back to her fateful life of sleeping, since she was not meant to wake up by Jack since he wasnt her actual true love.
The character were simply awesome in this story, I love them both. When normally in a story I strongly agree with one character more than the other. It was set in both points of view, and surprisingly I did not mind. Now normally I hate the boy and girl both having their own minds because I get so confused with them but I loved this because I wanted to know what both of them were thinking and feeling in different situations, Alex Flinn did a good job with that. Talia was the bratty princess, always getting her own way, and because of this she wants Jack, yet she dosent want her. You learn shes human though and she just wants to be able to want what any other human being can do instead of being bodyguarded all the time, you learn shes a very friendly person to everyone and seems to listen to Jacks and everyones problems shes also quite funny in parts because she isnt used to new technology thats been made. You can tell that she really cares about Jack aswell. I loved Jack to. He was totally laid back and not one of those annoying male leads that are horrible, arrogant or think their way better then anyone else. All Jack wants is his families attention, this is what makes him bring Talia home in the first place. Hes a real good friend and just wants to be able to do something he enjoys not do what his parents want him to do. Oh and I also loved his friend Travis, he cracked me up in some times how he was always obsessed with food. I loved his role for a friend.
All over this was a A+ for me. I love it so much I may well read it again sometime soon, it was such an enjoyable read. Didn't take me too long, and I can deffinetly see it becoming a film. It would make a great movie.

The second wasnt as good, but was still a mystery to read but I would of gave that a 3 out of 5. If your into romance/mystery a gothic romance, I recommend.
In a Legacy of lies, I love Megans personality, because she comes across as someone who's not afraid of anything and likes to live things on the edge and is a rebel. Also I loved Matt, the silent, brooding cousin who ignored her half the time, but there was a reason behind this and at the end, it all comes together why? and you should total read it because I loved the ending, I was gobsmaked.
In Don't tell, Lauren the main girl in it had lost her mother from seven years ago, and finally comes back to the place she died. The romance in this is with a guy called Nick, who is funny, and the main love interest for Lauren, obiously with the exception of her cousin Holly going out with him. This is a much more into depth story I personally think and alot more confusing, but I recommend this to.(less)

Of course it wasnt actually like the film Shes all that because Brittany was rich and Alex was in a gang. This book was amazing, it tells the tale of Brittany who lives on the south side of town. Which is the rich end. Blonde, beautiful. Who pretends be this perfect girl at school who has her life all planned out for her. She portrays a role model for her school. And then you have Alex who lives on the west side of town. The poor end. Hes a bad boy, whos in gang wars and everyone is scared of him at school. Brittany dosent like Alex and Alex thinks shes a rich snob. So when their paired up for chemistry with each other it can only cause trouble? Wrong! The more they spend time together, the more the pair start connecting and realising they have more in common with each other then they thought. Like Brittanys home life being anything but perfect just like Alexs and them both pretending to be people they arent, acting for people at school and at home.
I just loved this book so much! From the moment there are scenes with these two together you can tell instantly how much tension is between them its amazing. There were so many different emotions going on in this story too. One minute it was sad, then happy and then funny. I laughed in parts where people in my family thought I were crazy to laugh at a book. Like Gary Frankel. He dosent play a big part but hes funny haha.
The characters in this book were what made the book. I think if you read a book, and dislike the characters, it can make reading it alot harder. I must say every character in this book I liked. Even Carmen Sanchez. And I rarely say I like every character in a book. One of my favourite characters was Paco (Alexs bestfriend) he is just such a good friend and will do anything for Alex and even helps Brittany out a few times. He is easy going and gets along with everyone in it. I quite liked the friendship between Brittany and Sierra because unlike most books she wasnt a bad friend to Brittany she was there when she needed her. I think one of the most important things of this book that made me really give it the top rates was how they dealt with disablities, because Brittanys sister is disabled and unlike alot of books we got to see how families dealt with stuff like this and her sister made such a wonderful character in this book too because some people dont understand how difficult it can be.The ending was cute aswell, it has a pretty shocking epilogue that made me think on it for ages for some reason.(less)

It was the second book of Sarah dessens I read. And I must preffered it to Lock & Key's one. What I loved about this book was that you could relate to the main character Annabel since she was just such a nice person and didn't think wrong about anyone. The ending was good aswell.(less)
