As always Tiffany wrote yet another book that grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let me go. A Shattered Heart is part of her "Fractured Lives" sAs always Tiffany wrote yet another book that grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let me go. A Shattered Heart is part of her "Fractured Lives" series. A couple of teens survived a horrific accident and now Tiffany is taking you on a roller coaster ride of the aftermath. This book is about one of the survivors, Kat. Kat lost her boyfriend in this accident so she became bitter and in my opinion. She had survivor's remorse. So Tiffany gives you a glimpse of her life in this book.
Losing your boyfriend and your best friend is hard. That's a given. A loss like that changes people. But what I didn't know was how messed up she was inside her head. I knew Mac was in a bad place. But it was like Kat was worst, she didn't want to get better. It's like she purposely avoided anything good in her life. She avoided her friends, a good place to live, anything that made her feel good. However, she still have to survive right, so she took on a job teaching kids. And that's where life began to change for her, I know what you're thinking. Oh the kids changed her life. No, her deceased boyfriend's brother worked there as well. And that's where things changed.
I hate to say but I absolutely LOVED Brian for Kat. He called her out on her nonsense, he didn't let her feel pity for herself or even lose her life because of his brother. Brian was there to help her pick up the pieces of her Shattered Heart. And boy did she give him a run for his money. He wasn't the little Brian she remembers. He was a grown man now, so he was mature enough to handle Kat and her ways. I LOVED me some Brian. You see their ups and downs. How their conscience gets the best of them. But overall, you get to see them overcome the odds. I love that part of the story.
This is a HEA story. Tiffany wouldn't give us anything other than that. But their "Happily Ever After" was soo good that the fact that he's her boyfriend (Deceased Boyfriend's) brother doesn't seem so taboo. You also see Mac in this book. She helps Kat too. Their friendship in fact became stronger. So that's a huge plus. And Zack, I love him. I'm sure he's going to have his own story. And I can't wait to read it!!
Need I say how much I enjoyed this story? Tiffany will forever remain on my "Must Buy" list. She never disappoints. She doesn't know how to "fail". She continues to prove that with every single book she releases. I give A Shattered Heart 5 huge stars and it's a definite Good Choice for Reading!!
I don't know how to put this without sounding mean. But I absolutely love Bash and couldn't stand Chelsea. It wasn't even the end of Chapter one beforI don't know how to put this without sounding mean. But I absolutely love Bash and couldn't stand Chelsea. It wasn't even the end of Chapter one before I fell in love with Bash. I imagined him with a great smile and dimples. So every time he was being a smart ass or a pain in the butt to Chelsea, all I can envision was a dumb smile on his face. I loved his personality. It was easy going and funny. He's definitely the kind of guy you'd love to have as your boyfriend or even your friend. He made me laugh so much. He's a win all around.
Then you have Chelsea. I just can't with her and her list. She created a list of things that she wants on the perfect man. Yeah you read that right, a "Perfect Man". As if he exists, and he if does, does he have a sibling for me?!! I swear if I was Chelsea's friend, I would knock her right upside her head because of that list. She was so damn annoying. Because of that list and how she carried on about it, made me not like her so much. I felt that for a grown woman, she acted very immature. The only good thing I can say about the list is that she knew what she wanted and what she didn't. But that's about it.
As you read the book, Bash "tries" to help Chelsea find the "perfect" guy. But of course that didn't work out soooo....the search continued. All the while the chemistry between these two was hot and pouring out the page. I truly enjoyed reading this book, especially when both Chelsea and Bash was in the same room. Their chemistry was intense and so funny. Ohhh before I forget I must mention one more character that was equally important as Bash and Chelsea. That was Bash's dog "Lu or Lulu", I can't remember. She was such a cutie.
Throughout the book, you'll read when Chelsea and Bash hangs out with friends. They're all funny. I laughed a lot during this book. But you'll also read as Chelsea lets her guards down and lets Bash in. Even though Chelsea annoyed me, I absolutely loved this book and I think others will too. I give Love After All a 4 stars and it's definitely a Good Choice for Reading.

Which it was maybe When I first picked up Focus On Me I didn't expect to read the book I read. I expected a love story with a little bit of conflict. Which it was maybe one guy wasn't out the closet or one guy wanted to be a player. No what I read was so much more than that. I read a book that had a lot of personal issues that many people deal with on a daily basis and seek help for it. Riley had demons inside that took over him when he wasn't expecting it and that brought so much to the story.
I loved how sweet and patient Colin was with Riley. I think he was a bit crazy to give Riley a ride when he didn't even know him. But I guess it worked out for him because they did bring out good in one another. At one point I felt like Riley was someone that hadn't matured much because of things he would say. But then as I continued to read I saw the real truth behind his behavior.
Colin was such a sweety. He was a guy who was disappointed in himself because of failing out of college. But he was so much more than that. He was a caring guy that was extremely loved by his family. His intention were always good and Riley was lucky to have him. Riley was a great guy, sweet, he had this carefree spirit about him that could bring out the good even in the baddest of guys. But Riley needed more help than he realized. And I was glad that he found Colin to help him get it.
This book made me feel that even with struggles in life there's always something good to come out of it. Throughout this whole story while Riley struggled and suffered, Colin struggled and suffered too. That's what a relationship should be about. Never doing it alone. I love Megan and I can't wait to get my hands on her next book.
I give Focus On Me a 4.5 stars and it's a definite Good Choice for Reading!!

This book was revolved around her Native American community, their religious beliefs and values. So I must admit it was a bit harder for me because I couldn't relate. Plus the main character Dakota just lost her dad and that kind of topic is very hard for me. However, despite all that the story was interesting and it kept me going.
The death of Dakota's father shook up the community pretty bad. Now that her dad was gone the community was giving her and her mom a hard time with their business. Throughout all this, her father's death also brought back home Dakota's old beau Shane. He wanted to show support to Dakota and her family and also to find out who killed her dad. There is one thing I should say this should be considered a mystery/suspense along with romance. Because this book revolved a lot around who murdered Dakota's dad. That's one thing I felt needed to be more specific.
Though Shane brought a lot to the story, it was overwhelming for Dakota having him around. They had a past together which had no closure. Their chemistry wasn't as strong as the ones I've read in her other books. So in my opinion that could have been a bit more spiced. Maybe the author wrote it that way because whose thinking of sex just after losing their parent. I don't know but this story lacked a bit more chemistry in the sexy department.
So to sum this up, Dakota lost her dad and her old boyfriend came and they rekindled their love. Was it good? Yes. Was there chemistry? Yes but not as strong as in her other books. Did the characters grow throughout the story? Yes. I give Two of Hearts a 3.5 stars. Though this book wasn't my favorite, it won't stop me from picking up another book from her. Because she is a great writer.

We were mingling and laughing until someone mentioned her book. I stopped in my tracks and questioned her. She was just so sweet, and humble. And clearly you can see she takes pride in her work because I absolutely LOVED this book.
Now I have never read a M/M romance. Not because I find it gross or anything. I just haven't picked one up that grabbed my interest until this one. Trust The Focus was written so beautifully. This is not a book about two guys who discover they're gay and come out and have a bunch of bunny sex. No this book is definitely about friendship, love and finding courage to come out.
This book was so sweet. I actually connected with Justin a lot. He recently lost his dad and is having a hard time with his loss. His father was his best friend, his confidant. I also lost my dad and found it so hard to find peace after that. So I understood his pain. But luckily Landry was there for Justin. So together they embarked on a journey together to spread his dad's ashes.
I'm telling you, this book was so good. The turmoil Justin was going through on the inside was written so vividly that I wanted to go into the pages to kiss him and hug him tight. But thank goodness Landry was there. And no one could have been a better best friend than Landry. He really is the true definition of a "BFF". His love, understanding, patience and friendship is exactly what Justin needs. Landry made the journey worthwhile and a lot more memorable. He's definitely Justin's "Yin". I love me some Landry.
At the end when everything came out in the open, it made their journey from beginning to end so worth it. I didn't have one dull moment reading this book. From the time I picked it up to the time I put it down, this book entertained me the whole time. I absolutely fell in love with Justin and Landy. And I would definitely read another book with them. Megan's next book in series is called "Focus On Me". This book has a completely different character but Justin and Landry make an appearance in the book. So I can't wait to read it.
Trust The Focus is a definite Good Choice for Reading!! 5 Huge Stars!!...more

With the loss of my mom last year and the loss of another special someone, Patrick's books is exactly what I needed. Everybody who is a Colleen Hoover or Tarryn Fisher fan knew that they had to grab this book the minute it went live. And since I love Colleen I knew I had to grab this book. I have not read any of Tarryn's books before so I was going in blind with her part in this book.
I seriously don't know how to start this review that's why it was kind of hard for me to write it. On the one hand I did get drawn into the story, it grabbed me and didn't let me go until I finished it. And I absolutely LOVE when a book does that to me. But on the other hand, I felt like I read a book that was filled with nothing but questions and no answers. I felt so confused by the end. And that, I didn't like.
I really didn't read the blurb before picking this book up. So I didn't know what to expect. But I mean one of the writers is Colleen Hoover. I love her books and she's a hoot on Facebook and Instagram. So picking up one of her books isn't a question for me. But I honestly don't know what I read. Is it romance? Is it paranormal? I just don't know.
The fact is the two main characters in this book ended up with some kind of amnesia. And they go throughout the whole book trying to figure out what happened. And why it happened. The dilemmas they encountered were interesting enough to keep me reading. But it didn't make up for how I felt at the end of it. Clueless. Maybe that should have been the name for this book. Clueless.
I give "Never Never" 3.5 stars. And the sequel to this novel comes out in May and yes I will be grabbing it because despite feeling lost, I am curious as to what happened to these two characters. However if this next book doesn't give answers and end up in another cliffhanger, I'm going to be completely disappointed.

I've read a few in this series and I've enjoyed them all. They're all very sexy and hot. However as much as I enjoyed this book, I would like to point out what I didn't like. (view spoiler)[ I really didn't quite "get" the need to make Katrina a virgin.(view spoiler)[ It really didn't add to the story in my opinion. Also, I can't tell you how many times I've rolled my eyes because this girl just wouldn't embrace the thought of possibly having something real with Grant. I'll continue my rant about this later.
I really loved that this book is based on Katrina and Grant, but we get to meet and fall in love with Grant's whole family, and take a huge liking to Katrina's siblings. I absolutely love the page time with Grant's family and enjoyed reading every word. The bond that his family has just jumps out of the pages. I really hope that Jaci Burton writes more books about all his siblings. I know the next one is about Tucker, so YAY! The Cassidy boys are gonna make sexy reads.
Though she was a strong woman, Katrina really wasn't a character I adored. She was only 17 years old when her mom died. She immediately stepped up and took care of her siblings. Yet, despite all that, now being 27 years old, I felt she still needed to grow up a little bit. She hesitated about everything. Whenever someone in the book would call her "Grant's girlfriend" she fought the urge to correct them. The idea of being in a relationship scared the bejesus out of her. I get that she's been independent and on her own for so long, but OMG it was just overboard. I really wished I could have told her to "Shut up! Sit down and enjoy the ride!" I love when books bring out these types of emotions in me, though.
Grant was awesome. lately I haven't found myself swooning over male characters. But I really liked him. I felt that his feelings for Katrina came so easy to him. It's like he knew he liked her and wanted to spend time with her. And he made it happen. He started to genuinely have feelings for her siblings and did things for them because he knew they would like it. And he showed tons of love for his family. He was definitely a great catch. His character was written well in my opinion. I truly enjoyed reading about him.
I really did enjoy reading Quarterback Draw. It was extremely sexy! Jaci Burton knows how to write a sizzling sexy scene for sure. Grant and Katrina for sure had great chemistry in the bedroom. I truly enjoyed seeing their relationship blossom. And in my opinion, Katrina redeemed herself. I would love to get sneak peeks about all these characters in other future work. I give Quarterback Draw a 4 stars. It's a definite Good Choice for Reading.

I finally had the pleasure of meeting her at ApollyCon. And I seriously "Fangirled" over her. I had to have someone introduce me to her and I swore I was a blabbering mess. LOL. But she was so sweet. Tiffany is on my "Must Buy" list. I have enjoyed everything she's written so I know she won't disappoint.
A Shattered Moment, to me was a bit different from her other stories. The name character Mackenzie was in such a dark place through a large portion of the book, that it was really sad to read. Usually her characters are upbeat and bubbly. But Mac was so hurt and damaged. She's definitely a unique character out of all the books I've read by Tiffany. But regardless of how different she is, she's a strong girl. And it was great to see her progress throughout the book.
First Tiffany gives you Mac, who you want to protect then she gives you Bentley. I absolutely LOVE him. He shows so much maturity for being a young college student. But the way him and Mac met was just so sad. He was one of the first responders when Mac and her friends got into a car accident. Then they bump into each other a year later and he just can't get enough of her. Though she wasn't having it at all with him, he didn't give up. The way Bentley handled Mac and everything that came with her made me wish he was a real person. He was so patient with her and so loving. So I was rooting for him.
Mac struggled a lot in this novel. But my god, poor girl went through hell. So I wanted to cut her some slack. But overall, she grew throughout the book and that made me happy for her. Tiffany threw in some twists from the beginning of the book that made me root for Mac right away. And then she threw some twists that made my jaw drop. I didn't see them coming and now I can't wait to read her next novel in this series.
As with every book I've read by Tiffany King. This book is an enjoyable read. Who doesn't want to read about a girl overcoming all odds and a guy that wants to take each step with her.
A Shattered Moment is a definite Good Choice for Reading!!
This is my first book by Christina Lee and by the end of this book, I promised myself to pick up the rest of her series. I absolutely devoured Jessie This is my first book by Christina Lee and by the end of this book, I promised myself to pick up the rest of her series. I absolutely devoured Jessie and Nate. These two characters were written in a way that I felt like they could be my friends. It felt like I was reading a story of two of my friends. They're both down to earth and easy to be around. (If they were real)
Being that this is my first book in series, I knew nothing about these two characters. So they were completely fresh to me. My point being is I totally fell in love with both of them. I absolutely LOVED Nate. Yeah he was a bit of a man-whore, but of course he has a story behind that tough exterior. And that story makes you forgive him and understand him. What's even better is that throughout the book, he works on himself with the help of Jessie.
As for Jessie, I really liked her character, she had that bad girl kind of image. Such as, she was tatted up like your typical bad boy in most books today. But you get to read how every tattoo meant something special. I felt a connection with her mostly because in this book, she's still mourning for her dad. He passed a few years back but she sad about it. And I can relate to her. She was a sweetheart, a hard worker student and a wonderful friend to Nate.
Moving along to the chemistry between these two characters. It was HOT! HOT! The scenes between the two of them was like "Whoa!" But what I liked most about these two together was that they weren't sicking. They weren't all lovey dovey, I wanna puke or gag me with a spoon. They were able to act like humans despite their raging hormones. Together these two bring lots of sizzle to the page.
I give "Promise Me This" a 4.5 stars and a definite Good Choice for Reading!!
As always, Jennifer did not disappoint. And I seriously don't see that happening any time soon, if ever. I have loved this series from book one. And I As always, Jennifer did not disappoint. And I seriously don't see that happening any time soon, if ever. I have loved this series from book one. And I continue to fall in love with every new character in every book she writes. In the last book "Stay With Me" you meet Roxy. Roxy is this glasses wearing, little cute, eccentric, spunky bartender that works at Mona's. The new hang out spot (a bar) for all the characters of this series. And I loved her immediately. But she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. And that makes me want to give her bear hug. She's such a sweetheart and she's so adorable. She makes glasses, sexy.
Now, let's talk about Reece. I swear Reece is panty wetting, panty dropping HOT. I see him like a Bradley Cooper kind of guy. Jennifer had me drooling for him. Though some girls in the series feel like Jase is the hottest. I swear Reece is my favorite. I don't know if it's because of his past. He went to war and he's a cop. (Uniform= HOT!) Or that he would drop his pants along with his holster and gun and take Roxy the minute he got home from work. He's just freaking hot.
Jennifer creates these two characters perfectly. These two has loved each other since forever. But they both are stubborn and don't know how to communicate. So they beat around the bush with each other until Reece grew a pair and decided to man up. Which is good because he was so supportive, so sweet and gentle with Roxy. And she needed that. She had to deal with so much in this book. But lucky for her she had Reece. I think what I like the most about Roxy was that you can see her mature throughout the book. She catches herself when she does something wrong or about to do something wrong and she corrects it. I really liked that.
As for Reece, he had his own demons. The sandbox can make a guy go mad. But an unnecessary death can make a guy go nuts. And he went through a lot as well. Thankfully Jax, (you met him in the last book) was there to help him. He had a lot of letting go to become the man he was in this story. And now because he's dealt with his demons he was able to be there for Roxy. He's my favorite. I love me some Reece.
Jennifer is a writing wizard. I absolutely love her personally and as a writer. She writes these characters, only for us to fall in love. And I tell you, I talk about these characters with others as if they're my friends. She's making me nuts. I give Fall With Me a 4.5 stars and it's a definite Good Choice for Reading!!

I have been waiting for Booker's story since her first book "Unlovable". I met Booker in Unlovable and fell in love with him then. And throughout the series, I just kept falling deeper and deeper in love with him. He's has all the qualities I want in a man. He's a hard worker, caring, loving and sensitive.
In Unbearable you will see Booker getting his life together after he quit's MET. He's working in his office and has quite a few clients. He's doing great. But now he's developed a crush on his secretary/office manager Tess. Tess use to work with Cole in the medial field but she's not meant for that. She passes out at the sight of blood. So she's working with Booker now.
Their chemistry is good. It's not sizzling hot but only because Booker has to approach Tess with delicateness because of her past. They had a more mature approach on taking the next step. The horror she goes through with her ex-husband will make you literally cry and want to punch him. In fact, this book dabbles a lot with a very sensitive subject, rape and domestic violence. So I don't recommend this book to anyone who is sensitive to those subjects.
But aside from the horrible rape and domestic violence, I like the way Sherry approached the romance between Booker and Tess. Usually in a lot of today's books, they take sex lightly. Everyone is falling in love by the second chapter and having sex by the third. But in Unbearable, everything is even paced. Booker tries and comfort Tess and shows her how he's not her horrible ex-husband. That he cares and loves her and he'll wait.
A lot goes on in this book that'll have you shaking your head like "Wow". But thank goodness they have their friends there. Seth and Maggie from Unlovable and Cole and Lilah from Unbelievable. With those friends, you'll never go through life's ups and downs alone. I love that you get to read about how their lives is going as well.
I absolutely LOVED this book. But I have been waiting for this book for about two years so I knew I would. Besides Sherry is such a good writer, I knew she was going to knock it out the park. I think Booker is her baby but she's not going to confess to that. I give Unbearable a 5 stars and a DEFINITE Good Choice for Reading.

A Judy Garland book A weekly Metrocard My son's favorite blankie My College I.D. My wallet
The Lost has me at a loss for words. This book at first was a little hard to read because of how weird it was. I felt like I was reading a book set in the Twilight Zone. The things that were happening just felt so weird and out of place. I had to make myself think out the box. And when I allowed myself to do that, I was able to enjoy the book more. I was able to visualize what I was reading. But I will mention this, I am pretty sure there's going to be many people who will not be able to let the author pull them into the story. It's a really complicated read.
The Lost isn't a place I want to end up at. Lauren was having a difficult time dealing with her mother's diagnosis. And like many of us who have problems with dealing with reality she goes out for a long drive. But little did she know she'd get "Lost" and that's where the story begins. Finding herself lost and unable to get out of this one town, she seeks shelter.
But how weirded was she when she came across the "children of the corn". Okay, I'm making that up but she did come across a bunch of little kids with weapons. (Advice: Stay away from them.) Or better yet a washed up 80's cheerleader who doesn't make any sense or doesn't help her much. Her mission was to be survive long enough for the Missing Man to find her. Confused yet? Yeah, I thought so.
So in Lost you have to survive long enough for the "Missing Man" to find you. The "Missing Man" is the key to sending you home. But what do you do while you wait for him to find you? I don't know, maybe fall in love? Or maybe develop skills that'll help you survive in the reality show "Survivor" or maybe develop a bond between you and a child. Either way, "The Lost" has enough mystery to keep you scratching your head and keep you intrigued.
I enjoyed "The Lost" and I was able to get a meaning behind the story and I hope you do too. I give "The Lost" a 3.5 stars and I think those who are fans of the Twilight Zone or mystery would enjoy this book. I hope to be given the chance to read the second book in series.

Any of them wAs always Tiffany King delivers with every single book. If you want a steamy sexy novel, then pick up any of her "Woodfall Girls" novel. Any of them will suck you in and keep you there. And you can pick up any of them in any sequence and won't get lost. Now back to Contradictions, This is Tressa's story, we've read about Tressa in Tiffany's previous work. And what I've learned is that she was a party with no luck with men. But lucky for her, Tiffany gave her, her own book and her own HEA.
Tressa went through a lot in this novel, she experienced how being a popular party girl can do a number to you. Her party ways got her into more dilemmas then she expected. That's when she's forced to change and take her studies more seriously or jeopardized getting kicked out of college. That is when Trent comes into the picture. And the way Trent is described is just as nerdy as he is sexy. A sexy nerd. I'll take one please.
What I enjoyed most about this novel is that Tiffany didn't make Tressa fall for Trent right away. In fact, Tressa was only into "bad boys" so Trent wasn't the kind to fancy her. And it wasn't "Love at first sight" or whatever. You can see when their chemistry started to spark. She actually started to redeem herself a lot in this novel. You can see that she grew a lot. And with Trent by her side, it made it even more interesting. And when things got heated up between those two, it was definitely HOT.
I absolutely love all of Tiffany's novels in this series. So for me to say to go ahead and pick this one up too would be an obvious. She delivers a must read story with Contradictions. She makes nerd, sexy and makes the chemistry heat off the pages. Contradictions gets 4 stars from me and a definitely a Good Choice for Reading!!
