This book, it honestly hurt me. Half the time I didn't know what was happening because the emotions of these flat characters jumped around so much, they could be arguing bloody murder one second then banging against a wall the next. The story features two main characters, both screwed up in their own rights. Megan "Meggie" Foy is running from a dangerous home life to the comfort of her MC Daddy and his crew. Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell has always resented how he came to be, finding the only shred of acceptance within the MC world, he's ruthless, unforgiving and violent. The relationship of these two grew out of creepy insta-lust that basically exploded out of nowhere. Between the two of them the amount of times unnecessary and random fights brewed was unbelievable. They treated each other horribly and their relationship was so extremely unhealthy I felt uncomfortable just being on the outside of it. Also, the amount of times Christopher called Meggie a "bitch" was astronomical And then on top of that, the dialogue. “What the fuck ever,” he snapped. “I didn’t tell you that shit to get fuckin’ pity. I stopped givin’ a fuck years ago.” He pointed a finger at her. “Don’t ever fuckin’ tell that shit to nofuckinbody. So, now, you little pain in the ass motherfucker, fuckin’ spill. Tell me the fuckin’ truth about those fuckin’ cuts and not fuckin’ bullshit. Because you know what I think, Megan?”
Contrary to what he claims, he seems to give many fucks. When I wasn't uncomfortable with the "normal" dialogue, they thought it necessary to have full conversations while participating in coitus. “You like Johnnie, yeah?” A pound into her body stressed each word. “Christopher—“ “Shut the fuck up, you little hypocrite. Bitchin’ cuz I was fuckin’ Kiera all the while dreamin’ of fuckin’ Johnnie.” “I would never sleep with him,” she swore on a gasp. “I love you.” If only those words were the truth, but he knew better. “You fuckin’ liar. How the fuck you know you love me? Girls need more than one dick to know the difference between love and lust.” He hammered into her and she sucked in a breath.”
What a sweet talker. And then: “You fuckin’ drive me insane, you fuckin bitch.” Her eyes rounded at his words and he grunted. “I want to walk the fuck away but thinkin’ about anybody but me in this pussy makes me wanna fuckin’ kill.” Honestly, need I say more? ...more

Going intoLoving Mr. Daniels by Brittainy C. Cherry I expected an angry heroine, a frustrating hero, and a lot of corny declarations of love. Basically, I got what I thought I would. Breaking it down, it was a love story that really wasn't going to work out for the two people involved. No matter how you spin it, it was pretty much doomed right from the start. Ashlyn Jennings hasn't been able to breathe since they got her sisters diagnoses. Now, without her other half, she's drowning in the world around her. Until the night his life came crashing down around him, Daniel Daniels, besides his unfortunate name, hasn't had a hard time. He's gotten his younger brother out of trouble more times then he can count but he can't complain. Throwing together these two characters I wasn't that in love with their love. It was over the top, sometimes cringeworthy and overall, I was just going with the motions. I found a lot of their conversations to be overzealous. I didn't believe that real honest to anybody people would actually utter half those words they did. Now, that being said, I didn't hate the journey I went on with this book. In all actuality, it had me tears quite a few times. Cherry is a talented writer and can spin details with her words. She wrote beautiful secondary characters who I loved more then the main. They were flawed and honest and I shed more then one tear for each of them. I'm not sure if I enjoyed the end. Besides all the lame lines they spewed in the beginning of their relationship, it was just over the top. Cute, a little sad, but so corny and sweet I'm pretty sure I got a cavity. ...more
