While i was thinking over how to word my review on this novel i stopped by goodreads to see what other readers where saying, most loved it, but it surprised me to see alot of people comparing it to twilight. If you are going to read this book FORGET TWILIGHT. It is an insult to put Rachel in the same category as Stepanie Meyer, problem with that? I dont care if you like twilight, i dont care if you hate it but you can not think about twilight while reading this series. this series has nothing to do with twilight, give Caine a fair go, Anyway on to my review.
Glass house is an Exeptional first novel to a series, really enjoyed it, infact it is the fastest i have ever read a book. I have never read a book written in third person where i had to keep checking that i really was reading third person, i felt so in Claire's head it was insane,
From the first page, we knew Claire's life would never be the same again, matter of fact, i had to wonder after the first chapter if Claire's life was going to be alive. Queen Bee Monica Morrell doesnt take to well to 16yo Claire's premeture arrival at collage and she doesnt keep it a secret.
Claire decided it was safer to get the hell out of the dorm and live off campas while she studied this is where she befriended Morgaville's resident out casts. Eve, the town Goth, Shane the hothead of the glass house. and Michael, Resident Ghost. Each character is amazing but i am always drawn back to Michael's pain and lonliness.
I was super sad when Oliver turned out to be the bad guy, i was really starting to like him.
There are so many eliments of this book that i could mention that are amazing but i want you to witness them all for your selves.
I supose if i had to pick a floor is that. . . . i dont know this is hard. how many people these guys have against them, and the ending, i am at book three now but the ending sucked, i want to say more but i cant because otherwise you wont be able to read it.
if you do read this Novel or Series let me know what you think of this novel in the comments!!...more

My Review: Alright so 20 pages in to Clarity and my thoughts where, “damn this is to obvious,” and I didn’t want to read on, I thought it was dragging and it seemed a little annoying, but then it sucked me in and before I knew it, I was finish, I even asked my little brother where the book went.
That’s when I realized it was a good read!! It took a turn that I didn’t see coming. I’m not going to spoil anything major, but when the end came and Clare thought “I had all the pieces, I just hadn’t put them all together”, I knew exactly what she meant!! Kim Harrington’s smooth writing style put hints the whole way through that went over my head and three countries away, if that makes sense (it does to me). Now when I look back at the first 20 pages, I kind slap my forehead and call myself an idiot. The only bad things I can say about the novel is that there are too many characters. I mean they are all important, but I felt that with all these characters it took away from us getting to know the main characters in any depth. Especially Clare, she seemed very plain, she never took time to tell us what she liked or what she was good at other then eating doughnuts and her gift. Clare is very family orientated and loyal to her town, and I like that. All in all it was a good read, I wouldn’t call it my favorite book but it was pretty damn good. ...more

I LOVE YOU LARISSA IONE!!!
This is the seventh book of Larissa Ione's that I have read, and I have not been let down once!!! She writes amazing characters. I get sucked into the Demonica world every singe time I pick one of her books up. I love all the Sem brothers (and Sin, the Sem sister) And now, I am madly in love with the Horsemen (and Horsewoman I didn't forget you Li) of the Apocalypse.
Reading this book was like an emotional roller-coaster. I felt for everyone of the character (even the ones that I really don't like) There was love, lust, hate, pain, this book had it all!!!
Being Satan's bride doesn't sounds as fun as I thought it would :P Who knew one little kiss could set of the rising Apocalypse?
I loved hearing form some of my fav characters from the Demonica series, like Shade, Runa and Wraith. One of my fav things about Larissa Ione is that she doesn't just forget that she wrote a whole other series, she incorporates it, so that everyone (me) who fell in love with the other characters can still get little updates and snippets. :D
I loved the way that the book came together. I wasn't sure how some of it was going to turn out, I was a bit skeptical that it would, but, being the genius writer she is, Larissa Ione pulled it off with style!!!
There was a lot of Thanatos' story line in this book, which really surprised me. I expected a little, but we got quite a bit of his back story and I think everyone who read the book is now silently cursing Larissa (I know I am :P ) because we are all desperate to get our hands on the new book, which isn't out yet, and won't be for way too long!!! (I already have my copy on pre-order... counting down 174 days to go!!!)
Larissa Ione, how can you do this to me?!!! To us all!!! I NEED the next book in the series!!! I CAN'T wait until June!!!...more
Alot of other reviews i have read said this novel was slow and didnt really keep the pace of the others. I think that this book was needed and i is setting the pace of the rest of the novel and series. I loved the suspense Caine kept over the Alley and to be honest i am glad that this came to be and i cant wait to see where this turn of events leads us. I love the idea of the portals that Amelie uses. The Day's kind of seam a little bit random in the novel. I kind of think that Claires' age is used as an excuse to much, this character annoys me to no end but you would think by now all the times she as proved her self to be good allies and not a liability they would cut her a little bit of slack. Vampire Michael annoys me, he needs to get over himself a little bit, Shane annoys me too but i guess he is pretty bad ass for a human.
I love Amelie i think Caine should bring out a series of her life before morganville, it would be pretty bad ass. here is my review of book three in the morganville vampires series.

Review: Another hit by Mcgarry, I like. . . no scrap that I loved this book, reading this book brought my love for pushing the limits down to a 'Real Review: Another hit by Mcgarry, I like. . . no scrap that I loved this book, reading this book brought my love for pushing the limits down to a 'Really like'. Katie Mcgarry, captured the inside of at 17 year old girls head perfectly, there wasnt a second where i though 'hey, this girl is supposed to be 17'. The protection Beth feels she must provide for her mother is pretty much what i feel most people would do for their family. While the story had a kind of She's all that opening storyline, it turned out ot be so much more, at times I wondered if Ryan was a man or a mouse, not just because he wouldnt stand up to his father but also for the way he went week at the knees so early on. In most novels I usually find the main character quite annoying, but i kind of fell in love with Beth in pushing the limits and she barely annoyed me, Ryan did, but i've never been on do fall head over heals for jocks, having said that he didnt annoy me enough to make the novel unbarable. . . So anyway, I loved this book thank you Harlequin Teen Australia for the ARC of this novel, I truly appreciate the support, ...more

I loved it from cover to cover. I love how Australian it is! This book has it all from personal struggles, family struggles, best friend struggles, boyfriends struggles, law struggles. Vikki did an amazing job at capturing the lower class Australian people I know people who have similar struggles, i have lived in a similar street all we want to do is be something else. I think people underestimate lower class citizens. sure we may not have cars or money but we have each other, we have our family. I seriously think this should be studied in schools. I can not say good enough things about this book, i will be following this Author very closly, you should too!! One thing everyone to remember when reading this book: Every one, has a dream!...more
Treasure me is the first book i have read and compThe Book Mystress: !00th Post Review - Christine Nolfi's Treasure Me! http://bit.ly/oaeo8W
Treasure me is the first book i have read and completed in a while, Life has been so hectic latley, i have had hardly any chance to do anything, it seams to be the same for all my friends too, maybe it is just that time of year in Australia.
Anyway back to the novel.
Christine is a brilliant writer, she has a nack of writing that i just felt like i was the characters. She just has a way of making them seam so human, insane right? ;)
The Novel was fast pased and full of actions with Bridie and her petty crime filled ways and her disire to end it has a massage that every one can learn from. I absolutly love Therodora, omg, this character rocked, i could see my self in her so much! Nice nature, until you anger me, but lets hope you guys never have to witness that, hehe.
This is a great story, Thank you Christine for letting asking me to read this. I cant wait to see what else you come up with!

Have you ever thought that a soul is sent to earth just for you? That if that being wasn't there you don't know how different your life would be? or would you even be here at all?
This heart gripping soul searching novel is told from the other side.
A story of many possibilities of how fate and Divine intervention are all apart of how through the smallest and greatest tragedies love prevails all.
I enjoyed this novel a lot. When i picked it up, i never expected it to be suck a thought provoking novel. When i received this novel (Thank you Acacia Publishing) I thought it was going to be a super boring romance novel, but damn i was wrong.
Never Judge a book by its cover.
Carling has such a great talent that i can not wait to see grow over time. at times i found the book dragged but i still enjoyed it immensely. I would like to put the dragging down to a super busy time in my-non-blog-life where i barely got to read at all and against my usual habits was only reading one book, so i cant blame Angela for that.
I would like to have seen what happened with Nate and Jennie in the future.

I have never really been one for urban fantasy before but this book was amazing. I loved all the characters so much. When i first chose this novel to read next i had forgotten all about the blurb, i thought it was a literary fiction novel, you guys know how much i love my lit fic, i love how smoothly Christina writes. The book is spaced out wonderfully, i accerdently skipped a few pages and still knew what was going on but it was so slow that the story hadnt progressed any. I liked the feel the novel gave me i get a similar one when i read Vampire Acedemy novels. I did find that at times in the novel i was racing forward in my own head to try and figure out what happened and how every thing would be solved i am happy to say that it was not what i was expecting. I would like to thank Christina for giving me a female lead who's head i actually didnt mind being stuck in! I really enjoy Taren and Kat, they are good characters and i would love to read more about them, i would also like to read more about Master Dogan, i really enjoyed his character also. I really REALLY hope there will be a book two soon....more
My Review, I have been sitting her for a while trying to think of the words to describe this novel. As many of my fellow readers are bloggers or are smiMy Review, I have been sitting her for a while trying to think of the words to describe this novel. As many of my fellow readers are bloggers or are smiliar minded to me, i think they might get the importance to this book. Some times the reason read books is to escape in to an alternate reality where the story makes us feel good and rested. other times the reason we read is because we want to learn about something that matters, something that makes a real impact on our lives, For The Love Of Scott did that to me, this-book-matters. If this book was fiction it would still Matter, the fact that the issue in this book happens so many times over and over again is pretty sad, i have known times where this could have been me, if my mum wasnt there to ask questions, there are not enough words to describe the honor i feel for having read this books. I Admire Jo's strength to relive this, to fufil her bothers dying wish. I have Many brothers and am fighting with atleast one of them at times, but, they are my family, all of them and i would never wish this on any one, not even my greatest of allies. Readers, if you listen to one thing The Book Mystress says, BUY AND READ THIS BOOK, then lend it to people, I have already packed my kindle up so my mum can read this, its ah-ma-zing, Thank you Jo for sharing this story, Thank you for letting me read it, thank you!!!...more

Having wanted to try - and even buying - other Courtney Summers books i am glad i let this be my first. While there is not so much blood and gore that you would expect out of a book with this synopsis, it still had me on the edge of my seat. I am willing to read about Vampires any other sort of paranormal being but mention the word Zombie to me and i freak-out. As you can read in the synopsis the story is one of six kids taken shelter inside their high school. There is an erie comfort in the school, like its furmilar for them i think if i was them and i was stuck in my high school for weeks on end, i would feel comfort in knowing my way around and what was situated where - having said that and our high schools are all spread out not all covered in like this one. - the novel takes more of a contemp feel then a horror feel at times, which is fine with me, give me comtemp any day of the week. You never for get the Zombies are there, well i never did, in the beginning you are well aware that they are out side. *shudders* I love paranormal i swear i do but zombies freak me out. Maybe they'll grow on me. The characters were built strong, although i would have loved to have seen them a little bit more mature and the ending left me sad and wanted to know what happened, is the world really gone? This is not a test is a nice read that kept me entertained all the way through but in the end left me asking Please tell me a tiny bit more Ms Summers. I recommend it, but i do not recommend reading it at 3am i think that was my biggest mistake.

In saying that though, it made up for it in characters!!! Dragos is awesome!!! He's so possessive, it's soooo cute!!! He does such adorable little things, especially when he's mad. I know I fell in love with him. :)
He is one sexy dragon ;)
Pia is really funny, too!!! She's such a klutz. Hehe. Things just seem to happen around her.
It was a really good book. I loved it. It has really well written descriptions, and explanations of the worlds and the Elders and all that. It was a really good read.
Just ordered the next two books in the series, sadly neither of them is for my fav character Graydon, but hopefully his book will come out soon. :)

Pretty in Black for me was a good book. I enjoyed it alot. The story line was great and you could feel the chemistry with the to main characters Ellie and Marcus. However.
Book one of the series did not live up to the intensity of the novels synopsis. Half of the novel is told from Ellie's head the other half is told from Marcus, I understood the novel a lot more from Marcus' head. There were some parts of the novel that confused me and annoyed me. There was a particular scene in the novel where things where revealed that reminded me of a movie i saw a few years back, just this one scene in the book reminded me of this movie, i wont mention the scene or the movie, i want to know if other people picked it up as well. One thing that annoyed me in the book was Ellie's free range in to her best friends bar, there was never any statement saying that it was an underage bar or that she was getting in with a fake ID. Towards the middle the story line is some what confusing but Hachton's brilliant talent kept me hooked long enough to understand everything i was supposed to in book one. This was a good read and I recommend it to people who love YA...more

I was very happy to recieve this book and enjoyed reading it. Kathryn created an amazing tale that captured the thoughts and feelings of young artistic minded people growing up in small town Australia. I loved how relatable this novel was from Rip, the guy who needed to find his way in life to Sahara who needed to find more in life then what the beachside town of Byron Bay had to offer. Kathryn's writing was superb, she got across the exact point that she wanted too. Something about her writing was different to most i have read good different though, i just cant put my finger on it. I feel like Kathryn captured the Australian flare in a great way, she put enough of it in there to show how awesome we are, alot of people cant do that very well. It was kind of strange reading about so many places i have been and i know quiet well in a fictional book. All in all great book, i cant wait to see what else Kathryn has in stall, I recommend you read this book....more
