I don't remember what I wrote for the first book or if I have even reviewed that book yet, but this one is wonderful in so many ways. It is twisted, crafted in such a clever and eerie way that makes you want to read on. I have to admit, I don't understand some parts of it, but what I didn't understand made me want to read more so that I could try and understand it better.
A huge part of what I loved about this book is the names and stunningly drawn interpretations of what is in Gerard Way's head. The Seance, Pogo, Kraken, Number 5, Rumour, all are great, unique names that make me envious of not coming up with them myself. You remember them and what each of them are capable of.
The writing is done in a creative way, it really makes you think sometimes and then other times it is just random nonsense that makes you laugh. I have to admit I really enjoyed this comic. As stated, I am not one for picking up a comic, but I liked the second installment to this series and I hope to read more....more
