One of the things I love best about this novella is how quickly you become immersed in the lives and feelings of these characters. You don’t get much time to become acquainted with these characters, but the beautiful thing about that is you don’t need to. Erickson magically takes the characters straight to your heart and quickly engages you in their romance. Celia and Damien are truly stunning characters that are completely enamored with one another yet reluctant to let their feelings be known. Their unrequited love is simply touching and exciting to read about.
Yet it only remains that way for so long…from the first kiss to the last, Celia and Damien share a captivating passion. Erickson has a great talent for not only creating a novella that is sexy, but eloquently expresses the emotional side of love as well. You care about these characters just as much as if you had read 200 plus pages of a novel, which is a rare treat indeed. It’s hard to express how much I enjoyed this short tale and wished for it to go on longer.
Her Christmas Pleasure while it is short, is filled with striking emotion and vivid passion. Reading it will give you a brief escape into a fascinating story and possibly introduce you to a talented author as it did for me. Delightful, enchanting and sinfully wicked this is a story you should not pass up! It has everything a reader could possibly want and then some. ...more
Emma Lang has done it again! MATTHEW, the first book in her new series ‘The Circle Eight', is a fantastic novel with plenty of sex appeal! It's a must Emma Lang has done it again! MATTHEW, the first book in her new series ‘The Circle Eight', is a fantastic novel with plenty of sex appeal! It's a must have for fans of historical westerns with plenty of spice.
Life has been extremely difficult for Matthew Graham lately. His parents were brutally murdered and his youngest brother abducted. Suddenly all responsibility fell to his shoulders, caring for the ranch and his brothers and sisters. When he decided to finalize the land grant his father was working on before he died, he realizes the state of Texas will only give him the land if he's married. So Matthew invents a fiancé named ‘Hannah' and quickly realizes he only has thirty days to find a girl by that name and marry her.
Hannah Foley spent most of her time working in her grandmother's boarding house and the rest of her time accepting the fact that she may never marry. Yet one day she meets a handsome stranger in town who follows her to the boarding house and within minutes proposes to her. Matthew explains his tricky situation with the government and the fact that he has to marry a girl named ‘Hannah' within the next month. Willing to take a risk, Hannah accepts.
Newly married, Hannah and Matthew find they have no problem in the bedroom, but plenty of problems building a relationship outside of closed doors. Now there may be a problem with the land grant that will affect the future of the farm. Unfortunately for Hannah, she realizes she wants a marriage based on love and she will do whatever must be done to get it.
My opinion of Emma Lang's latest release can be summarized in just a few words; I loved this book! Ms Lang (who also writes as Beth Williamson) has been a favorite of mine since I first read Ruthless Heart last year. Her stories are interesting and extremely sexy...and MATTHEW was no different. It is a story that doesn't drag around, moves fairly quickly and contains amazing characters. It is positively a joy to read and a novel that just cannot do any wrong.
One thing I adored about MATTHEW were the characters. Ms Lang has this unique talent of creating such vulnerable characters that you can completely fall in love with. They are so absolutely charming you just get lost in all the magic of their story. Matthew was the soft-spoken, yet masculine cowboy who was fighting his growing feelings toward his wife. He was a loner, despite his large family, and had trouble accepting the possibility that he could be falling in love...with his wife, no doubt. He was just the perfect hero. Always endearing and truly adorable.
Matthew's better half, Hannah, was extremely charming as well. She has little to no experience in matters of the heart, she just knows she loves her new husband and wants to be loved in return. Her angelic innocence was something I found very enjoyable and interesting. She is easily the heroine most girls can relate to, including myself, because of her down-to-earth qualities. With this new series, Ms Lang sets up an enormous cast of characters around Matthew and Hannah. Each one is as uniquely delightful as the last. It's pretty amazing how easily you fall in love with this family and begin to desire to become a part of it.
Yet beyond all the drama and creative storytelling is an unbelievably passionate romance. Ms Lang had a difficult task when she set out to create a newly married couple, who are virtually strangers, yet share a grand attraction. Especially since they could share everything in the bedroom yet could only share a charming awkwardness outside of it. Still, she pulls it off beautifully, creating a sexy yet beautiful love story. It was delightful reading about these characters as they stumbled along the way to getting to know each other and to find their happily ever after.
If you love erotica and western historical romances, MATTHEW should be the next novel you pick up. Emma Lang is a wonderful talent who writes brilliant stories you will thoroughly enjoy. While this novel may contain plenty of scorching love scenes, at the end, you will be pleasantly surprised by the emotional and charming romance inside this novel. MATTHEW is one of the rare novels a reader picks up and never wants to end. Luckily for all of us, this is only the beginning of The Circle Eight series.
Exciting and all too brief, A BREACH OF PROMISE by Victorica Vane is a splendid novella with a spicy historical romance. Great characters and intense Exciting and all too brief, A BREACH OF PROMISE by Victorica Vane is a splendid novella with a spicy historical romance. Great characters and intense drama makes this a story you shouldn't pass up!
Marcus, Lord Russell, has the perfect arrangement. With a distant fiancée waiting in the wings, he avoids the perils of matrimony and the burden of warding off unattached ladies. It was perfect, until he receives a letter from his betrothed, Miss Lydia Trent, six years later, demanding she be released from their arrangement. Rather than be relieved, Marcus is outraged.
Unable to accept the fact that a woman is declining to marry him, Marcus sets out to reclaim his bride-to-be. Yet Marcus is unprepared for what he finds. He may have left an innocent young lady six years ago, but he has returned to find a headstrong, beautiful woman in her place. Unfortunately, she is a woman that is refusing all his usual methods of seduction...at least at first. As each encounter strengthens their passion, Marcus must do everything he can to bring Lydia back to him. Hoping that it isn't too late and he hasn't lost Lydia's love forever.
I loved the premise behind the story. What's not to love about a jilted rake that finally returns home to claim his stubborn fiancée? While this easily could have been expanded into a full novel, Ms Vane does a fantastic job of giving you a full story in a small number of pages. A BREACH OF PROMISE delivers the magic of romance, the passion of an erotica novel and the exquisite detail of a charming historical. It's all there and more as you are introduced to some surprisingly fascinating characters.
To say I was impressed with Lydia's development as a character would be an understatement. Being an erotic novella, I was truly worried she would wilt in the arms of her hero and that would be that. Yet, Ms Vane completely surprised me with a fierce and bold heroine that stood her ground against Marcus. Which in my opinion is exactly how it should be, because honestly, you can't love Marcus at first. He is a bit self-centered and unkind in the beginning, and in A BREACH OF PROMISE, he truly does redeem himself. What I loved experiencing is his perspective towards this mere girl he has no problem leaving behind only to encounter the woman he never thought she could be. Marcus was the classic bad boy turned good guy and I loved every moment of it.
A BREACH OF PROMISE is a stellar novella that features the right amount of spice and the perfect amount of classic romance. What is easy to love about this story are the fabulous characters who share a stunning attraction that smolders throughout the pages. Victoria Vane has a beautiful and distinguished prose that not only reveals the complexities of her characters, but also demonstrates the breathtaking charm of the time period. While this story may be brief, overall, A BREACH OF PROMISE has everything you could want and more.

As more women are affected, Emma is determined to find a cure before it's too late.
Everything about this book is fabulous. Throwing you into the action starting with the first page, CLAIMED takes you on a thrilling and sexy adventure. The kind of adventure that leave you unwilling to put down the book for too long. With CLAIMED, you will find another great vampire series that enthralls you with breath-taking drama and alluring characters. In the midst of all the drama is a scorching romance that set the pages on fire. CLAIMED is all you could want and then some.
This book would not be a success without a wonderful cast of characters. Emma is a spunky, yet adorable leading lady. Everything about her was admirable. I appreciated the fact that Emma had an intelligent head on her shoulders and her decisions were motivated by more than just instinct. The scientist in her was always determined to find the answer, and this gave her character great depth and respectability. Her mate, Dage was an absolutely fantastic hero. There are just so many great things about his character. He was understanding and always willing to accept Emma's stubborn ways. Yet in the same breath, he was the seductive hunter trying to convince Emma they belonged together forever. He was a great alpha hero...without being too barbaric.
Ms Zanetti pens a very engaging story, but it's the romance that will capture your attention. It was thoroughly entertaining reading Dage and Emma's game of cat and mouse while their attraction became undeniable. This author creates two characters that have plenty of characteristics that make them great individually but together make a stunning couple. You will have no problem rooting for them and their happily ever after.
CLAIMED is book two in the Dark Protectors series. You can tell it is somewhat of a continuation from the first novel as far as the action is concerned, but you won't have any trouble catching up with all the details of the series. CLAIMED is the first novel I've read from the series and I absolutely loved it. So much so I can't wait to read the rest. Ms Zanetti sets up quite a few relationships for future novels and each new possibility only makes the series more intriguing. It definitely gives readers something to look forward to.
I cannot say enough great things about Rebecca Zanetti's CLAIMED. When you have a passionate romance, exciting drama and intriguing characters, what more can you really ask for? Prepare yourself to become completely absorbed in Ms Zanetti's Dark Protector series as it takes you for an exciting and enjoyable ride.

TOUCH OF A ROGUE is a sexy, compelling historical that will leave you breathless and begging for more!
Jacob Aubrey Preston has never had a carnal taste for unmarried women. He prefers his lovers to be married and enthusiastic in the bedroom. Lady Julianne, the widowed Countess of Cambourne, may be the exception to his rule when he discovers this irresistible woman only meets the last requirement. Despite their fiery attraction, Julianne needs Jacob's help to uncover the mystery behind a set of ancient Druid blades wanted by a secret society. Jacob's secret talent will certainly help discover the located of the blades, but he quickly realizes Julianne has quite a few secrets of her own.
Mia Marlowe has certainly created an intriguing and sexy world in her Touch of Seduction series. This latest installment is a fun mix of historical, suspense and a little paranormal...all wrapped up into a spellbinding novel that you can't help but adore. Once I started this novel it was very hard to put it down and I was thinking about it long after I finished it. Mainly because Ms Marlowe creates two characters you just simply fall in love with. Jacob was the rogue that was truly a romantic at heart. While Julianne was an independent woman that was afraid to follow her heart. I adored both these characters and really enjoyed reading their story.
With that said, I have to say I loved every bit of the romance between Julianne and Jacob. It was charming yet incredibly passionate. You have two characters that are not even open to falling in love yet you get to read about them falling hard for each other. I found it to be a very touching story that just increased my attachment to the characters. The book sets up Jacob's character as a rake, but you really don't get to experience that side of his character, which I rather preferred. It made his romance with Julianne much more romantic for me and their relationship more realistic. Julianne did have a few hang ups about falling in love again, which was just slightly annoying at times, but it really did draw out the angst of their relationship and made an intriguing romance.
Ms Marlowe does a great job of mixing quite a few genres into one. Jacob's ability give this book its paranormal elements and really increase the drama and interest. As Jacob and Julianne search out the history to these knives, Ms Marlowe pens a clever and suspenseful story that takes these characters on a thrilling adventure. As if that isn't enough, you get a very spicy historical romance on top of it all. It truly is a little bit of everything and the author executes it perfectly. Readers will easily find something in this book to love, if not everything!
TOUCH OF A ROGUE is a fabulous second installment in Mia Marlowe's Touch of Seduction series. This novel has a delightful cast of characters that will make you smile and plenty of drama to encourage you to continue turning the pages. Characters from the first book are included here, but reading this book first will not cause any confusion. This can easily be read as a stand-alone and it will certainly make you eager to go back for more. Readers looking for the next spicy, yet dramatic historical romance should turn to Ms Marlowe's TOUCH OF A ROGUE. This novel captures a love story that is addictive and absolutely fantastic.
Maggie Robinson's last installment in the Courtesan Court Series, MASTER OF SIN, is a wicked and sensual delight for romance readers. Ms Robinson pens Maggie Robinson's last installment in the Courtesan Court Series, MASTER OF SIN, is a wicked and sensual delight for romance readers. Ms Robinson pens a beautiful story with exquisite description and deeply emotional character development.
Andrew Rossiter has spent most of his life being used. Mostly for the pleasure he can provide in the bedroom, but now he has a son that is depending on him and must be kept out of harm's way. Forced to flee the tragic life he's known and go into hiding, Andrew tries to start a new life with the son. Unfortunately, he has no idea what he is up against when he meets Miss Gemma Peartree. Despite her claims that she would make an excellent governess for his son, Andrew strongly disagrees. She is distracting, she is stubborn and she is becoming absolutely irresistible. Yet Gemma is in for a challenge when she realizes Andrew's tough exterior will be hard to crack. Both have secrets and a dreadful past that haunts them still but their attraction grows stronger each day. While Andrew and Gemma share a striking passion, they must decide if that is enough to survive on. Or discover if damaged creatures like themselves will ever be capable of falling in love.
One thing that may be difficult to explain is how fascinating the hero was in MASTER OF SIN. Mainly because you expect the heroine to have the tainted past in this Courtesan series, but in this case, the hero is the one with the troubled history. He certainly has a past that would make most people blush, yet this tainted past that haunts Andrew is really what makes him such an interesting characters. He has a cold disposition that Gemma instantly sees through and she works to bring out the best qualities in this character. You can't help but feel an enchanting attraction to this complex character as he develops throughout the novel. Andrew is endearing because he thinks so little of himself, yet it's easy for the reader to see what an amazing man he is.
Gemma is fabulous to say the least. Her stubborn nature will make you smile with delight and laugh at the way it tears down Andrew's defenses. What is easy to admire about her character is the instinct that reinforces every decision she makes. Andrew does everything in his power to remove Gemma from his life and she refuses to take his bait. Every insight told her their connection was something worth fighting for. I loved her endless, fierce nature that never considered backing down from a challenge. She was tough, but she was also a gentle soul. Gemma's compassion and intelligence is what allowed her to bring out the light from the darkness that enveloped Andrew completely.
The focal point of MASTER OF SIN has to be the emotional development of both characters and their romance. Ms Robinson successfully crafts beautifully intimate characters that make your heart ache. Andrew and Gemma are two lost souls that discover each other's dark secrets and build a strong bond that shocks them both. I enjoyed it so because it easily displays how just one person can change another so much and for the better.
In addition to their story of romance is the heartwarming aspect of this tale in which Andrew is coming to terms with his new venture into fatherhood. Being a father does not come natural to Andrew, but he puts all of his efforts into being everything his son needs, only to encounter the doubt that he cannot. It was a beautiful addition to the story and one that will bring you near tears in one chapter and gloriously happy in another.
If I was to be absolutely honest, this novel doesn't have a stellar beginning. It jumps around a bit and makes things somewhat confusing. Ms Robinson uses a little too much detail for my taste, and draws out some scenes leading them to be slightly dull. Also, the beginning does not paint the hero in the best light. He is difficult to warm up to, but fortunately, that doesn't last too long. Soon enough I was addicted to this story and found it difficult to put down. Mainly because I've never encountered such an interesting pair and wanted desperately to know this story's conclusion.
You may have to dig a little bit for it, but once you gain a little ground in MASTER OF SIN, you will find a wonderful novel. Emotional, riveting and sinfully passionate, this novel will capture your heart and drive you wild. If you want that unique, yet fascinating historical romance, MASTER OF SIN will deliver. With sharp, wicked characters and hauntingly descriptive prose, Maggie Robinson's latest novel is sinfully grand indulgence and one you shouldn't miss.
THE SEDUCTION OF PHAETON BLACK is a steampunk adventure of epic proportions. This sexy couple will take you on a wild ride through the streets of Vict THE SEDUCTION OF PHAETON BLACK is a steampunk adventure of epic proportions. This sexy couple will take you on a wild ride through the streets of Victorian London where mystery and adventure collide!
Phaeton Black is a man of many talents. As a paranormal investigator with uncanny abilities, he solves the most unusual crimes for Scotland Yard. Yet he's also a generous lover that enjoys seducing his fair share of wicked women. When a young attractive female holds a knife to his throat and demands he make love to her, more than Phaeton's curiosity is aroused. He quickly realizes Miss America Jones is a sexy distraction that is more addictive than absinthe. He is searching for a fanged villain that drinks its victims' blood and she's hot on the trail of the man that stole her father's ships. Together, they form an unlikely pair of investigators searching for clues one minute and exploring their explosive passion the next. As the adventure unfolds, attractions grow strong and danger lurks at every corner. Yet the greatest danger Phaeton and America face may be the risk of losing their hearts.
THE SEDUCTION OF PHAETON BLACK is a fun and absolutely thrilling read. Think Sherlock Holmes only with some paranormal craziness, a female companion and a bit more erotic! This novel is all that and more. Ms Stone pulls together a truly exciting read with great characters, powerful plot lines and fabulous drama. Then of course there are the steampunk elements that really make this a unique and worthwhile read.
Phaeton is the scandalously bad leading man...but in a desirable way. You can tell right away he is the kind of man that will leave a woman satisfied yet begging for more. He does not mince words and says exactly what is on his mind, which can lead to some hilarious moments concerning his lustful thoughts. Miss Jones throws him for a loop though. So there is some pleasure to be derived from seeing this poor character squirm under the prospect of change because of one woman. He keeps his life neat and clean of attachments and as America launches herself into his life, you see the small transformations of this deliciously attractive man. While these changes may drive him crazy, he becomes even more irresistible to America.
America is definitely a different kind of leading lady. She is a fantastically unique and independent spirit. As the daughter of a New Orleans witch and an English sea captain, you can expect nothing less. She fought with everything she had when a fight presented itself and she loved with all her heart when the right man came into her life. Love is a foreign word to Mr. Black and America has the patience of a saint waiting for him to wake up and see the reality of what they share. America is an amazing character because she gave as much love as she could give, but never demanded anything in return. You not only want to root for her, but gain a large amount of respect her character.
Still, here's the disclaimer...if you're looking for the sweeping romance with the steampunk background, this may not be everything you want. While Phaeton and America may start building on a relationship in this novel, things aren't perfect between them. Which makes sense since this is the first in a series that will continue to follow these two extravagant characters. So the romance does move a bit slower than fans may like.
THE SEDUCTION OF PHAETON BLACK is incredibly erotic...so much so it's a wonder you can hold the book and not scorch your fingers. Both characters share a passionate nature and attraction that seems to become more overwhelming each time they are together. Ms Stone does a great job of molding their relationship, but I would have appreciated a few more ‘sweet moments' contributing to a fulfilling romance.
Fans of the steampunk genre will not be disappointed in THE SEDUCTION OF PHAETON BLACK. Jillian Stone starts off a promising series with eccentric characters Phaeton Black and America Jones who will take you on one heck of an adventure. Not only does this novel have a thrilling plot, but also an erotic romance that will knock your socks off! Ms Stone has definitely started a series that is going in the right direction and has all the right elements for a bright future.

One hundred years ago, Connlan Kayrs had a wild one night stand with a tempting red-headed witch that turned into something a little more permanent. Conn hadn't mean to, yet he still ended up marking Moira Dunne, which meant she was to be his mate forever. Realizing twenty-year-old Moira was too young for this serious attachment, Conn agreed with her family's wishes and stayed away from her for a century.
Well, time is now up and Conn is more anxious than ever to claim his prize. With all the different members of the supernatural Realm ready to go to war, Conn and Moira's new start may have them fighting on different sides. Which really wouldn't be much different from their current situation because Moira is rejecting Conn's advances with everything she has. Moira may not be able to resist him physically, but she isn't going to fall for his charms a second time. Well, she's pretty sure she won't. As enemies collide, Conn and Moira must fight for their people and fight for each other if they ever want their love to survive.
This is one paranormal series that has truly surprised me from the very beginning and I love it a little bit more after each installment. I was highly anticipating this next novel featuring Moira and Conn, and it certainly did not disappoint. These two have enough passion and chemistry between them to start the brightest fire. Ms Zanetti has developed two characters who have a love/hate relationship fueled by a vigorous sexual appetite for one another. Moira and Conn could turn the most serious argument into foreplay and it was certainly entertaining.
Still, it's not all angry sex. There is a subtle yet powerful emotional pull in their relationship. The lengths they would go to protect each other because of their love was absolutely heartbreaking at times. The sacrifices and choices they were willing to make made you cheer for their romance and love and their happily ever after. To put it simply, this is such a satisfying romance because they go through it all and come out a stronger couple because of it.
Of course they would make an excellent couple, because they are spectacular characters individually. Conn is blunt in what he wants and expects everyone to agree with him! Yet he is compassionate in the way he is willing to do whatever he has to in order to protect his loved ones. He is perhaps my favorite Kayrs brother. Don't get me wrong, I do love them all, but he is just the perfect alpha male vampire. Sexy, strong and overbearing in a way that makes it so appealing instead of frustrating! He knows just what to say and how to say it and if you don't agree, he has enough sex appeal to make you agree.
Yet if anyone can bring Conn to his knees, it's Moira. She has a fiery personality to match her striking red hair. You don't really get to see much of Moira's personality when she first met Conn one hundred years ago, but Ms Zanetti gives you enough context to allow you to see how much she's changed. Really, that's what you come to love best about her. Her separation from Conn may have been painful, but she has become her own person because of it. A very strong, intelligent woman who can take care of herself and isn't constantly depending on her mate. Moira continuously kept Conn on his toes whether it was with a witty remark or a sultry smile and it was pure entertainment.
HUNTED by Rebecca Zanetti is a thrilling and sexy romance that you will thoroughly enjoy reading. The world this author has created is lively, fun and full of zany characters you will absolutely adore. Should you read the first two before you check out HUNTED? Probably. The world building and previous characters are beginning to really jump from book to book, but I wouldn't say it's required. Truthfully, you should read the first two not to catch up, but because they are just as amazing as this latest installment.
Ms Zanetti's Dark Predator series is simply fabulous and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon! HUNTED has set up a few more budding romances that I am anxiously eager to read about and I'm sure they will be just as great as the last. So what are you waiting for? Readers looking for a super sexy read may love this erotic romance, but may not be completely satisfied with the journey.
Haley Tillman needs a man. Her quiet, timid life has gotten the best of her, and now all she craves is a nice roll in the sheets with a gorgeous man. Just as soon as that thought crosses her mind, her doorbell rings and on the other side of the door is a sexy cowboy. Ryder is a nephilim—half angel, half human—and ready to answer her very dirty prayer. Yet after a few scorching encounters, Ryder is pushing Haley to expose a side of herself the world has never seen. Mortals have always fascinated Ryder, but Haley is exceptionally captivating and he wants nothing more than to convince her what a beautiful goddess she is. Answering Haley's prayer may be more than Ryder bargained for, because he's beginning to realize he wants more from her than he can ever have.
This novel really left me speechless. It started out really strong but somewhere along the way became very confusing. This wasn't really a journey about finding romance, but Haley's journey of obtaining self-confidence. It certainly is an interesting ride because I didn't exactly agree with all of Ryder's methods to bring out this self-confidence. Haley was forced to do some really outrageous things to please Ryder. In the end, it was all supposed to make her feel like a more beautiful person. Yet all the changes on the outside made her unrecognizable to her family and friends and I was disappointed that this journey to self-discovery resulted in such a physical change.
I had no doubt in my mind that these two characters were strongly attracted to each other. Yet what I could not conclude by the end was whether these two felt anything else for each other beyond the lust. That particular detail was very frustrating for me as a romance reader. A lot of questions were left unanswered or else you were supposed to make your own conclusions. The novel is sexy, and there are plenty of scenes to prove that point. If you are looking for a sexy read, this may scratch the itch. But if you want a tad bit more emotional involvement, this may not be everything you are expecting. Sex? Yes. Romance? Not really. I wouldn't judge this aspect of WHEN THERE'S A WILL if it wasn't vaguely implied. I was expecting a happily ever after because the author implied the need for one. I don't feel that this novel provides it...in more than one way.
I also never truly fell in love with the characters. Haley's emotions were a dangerous roller coaster ride. One page she would be ready to strut her new sexy side, yet the next page would describe her crawling back into her shell. Her thoughts were repetitive...she would make the exact same comments (word for word) about one of her attributes two or three times throughout the story. A few times the sympathy you were supposed to extend to her character would walk that fine line towards pity and that was a hard pill for me to swallow.
Ryder was always, and I mean always, thinking about sex. Yes, I know it's an erotic novel but it was rare he thought about anything else involving Haley which in turn meant he rarely had any time to think about any romantic feelings towards her. This fact didn't really help the romance and didn't make the tricky ending very clear. Another point was that I really wanted to learn more about his character, but the novel ended before it could go very far. I haven't read the first book in this series, so that could have made a difference if I had read it before WHERE THERE'S A WILL.
As WHERE THERE'S A WILL progressed, there was always some detachment that I felt from their story. The sexy parts were too soon and everything else after that seemed out of place. It wasn't all bad though. Karen Kelley writes some excellent and scorching hot love scenes that cater to many different fantasies. Her paranormal twists were unique and many lines were laugh out loud funny. Ms Kelley has a great talent for writing light, comical dialogue. The writing itself was solid and enjoyable to read; it's just that some parts of the story development left more to be desired. The point is, even though this particular story didn't hit the mark with me, I would not hesitate to try another of Ms Kelley's stories.
