I loved James and Nuala. I liked that Dee and some of the faeries from Lament had a part in this book. The ending was fantastic. I'm hoping that Maggie writes another book in this series.(less)

Maggie has such a unique writing style in all her books. She draws you in from the first page and doesn't let go. The characters are so real it's like you are really friends with them and are there throughout the book. Sometimes I forget that they are supernatural beings and not entirely human. They deal with everyday issues along with their lives as wolves.
I have loved Grace and Sam since the beginning in Shiver. That was the start of such an amazing trilogy that I could not get enough of. While they are still teenagers their love has been tested so many times and has just continued to grow stronger. I liked how when they first met and it was all teenage love, boy meet girl. Then it evolved into something so much bigger. Their struggles with friends, family and each being a wolf just brought more to the story. Then add in Isabel and Cole and the story gets even more interesting. I thought Maggie did such a great job with these two characters. I loved their whole love/hate relationship. How they came together to save Sam, Grace and the wolves was truly spectacular. I liked how Isabel and Cole's family science background was brought in without it sounding all scientific. It was really interesting and I'm not into science at all.
I was surprised and sad that some of the characters did not make it to the end. The part with Sam and Beck was well written, not going to give away any spoilers though. I was really shocked and was wondering the entire time about the Sheriff. I kept thinking he is just setting them up but happy how that turned out. I also liked how Cole was able to communicate with the wolves while he was human. That was an added bonus. There were just so many moments that I could list that I loved throughout this book and the previous ones. I have read and own all the books Maggie has published, I just can't get enough of her writing. She is truly an amazing author. If you haven't read her books, well you need to, you will not be disappointed. While I am sad to see this story end I'm looking forward to reading Scorpio Races and anything else she writes.
This book was given to me as a review copy from the publisher, it did not affect my review in any way.(less)

It just seems to get better with each book. In this fourth installment, Jace and Clary are in love and finally together. Simon is dating two girls at the same time and Luke and Joceyln are planning their wedding. Oh yeah and Alec and Mangus are traveling the world. Everything is going smoothly until Shadowhunters start turning up dead, someone is trying to make babies like Sebastian and Jace starts pulling away from Clary.
Cassie has such a way with words that takes you on a rollar coaster ride from beginning to end. I loved the new characters and the way that they brought new storylines for future books. I was a little shocked to find out who Jordan was, but I really liked him and what he brought to this book.
Jace is having nightmares that he is with Clary and that he tries to kill her. He thinks he needs to distance himself from her. At the same time Clary is trying to figure out what is wrong again with Jace. Simon is becoming a favorite of mine. His struggles with his love life, home life and just being a vampire. Now he has to deal with Camille and whether or not he should take her up on her offer. Alec and Mangus were absent for almost the first half of the book but they make their return at just the right time. Isabelle had me laughing out loud with her comment about them returnig. All the relationships were well written, I love Alec and Mangus and their arguments and make ups. Jace and Clary drove me a little crazy throughout, sometimes I wanted to yell at them, get it together already. I am hoping that there is more to come with Simon and Isabelle, they are great together.
Overall it was fantastic as always. My favorite scene was with Jace and Clary in the alley. Loved it! The ending had me on the edge of my seat and my mouth fell open on the last couple pages. What a thrilling ride this one was. More to come in this series and I can't wait! You really need to read this series if you haven't already. (less)

Wow what a PERFECT finale to an incredible series. My thoughts are just replaying certain scenes over & over in my head. This one will stay with me for a very long time. I just wish we would have found out what happened to Sydney and why she really helps Abe. But I guess maybe hopefully we will find out when the new series Bloodlines comes out. That said I am really happy with the ending, how everything came together & who Rose choose in the end. The last sacrifice & who killed the queen shocked me, didn't see them coming at all. Sad to see the series end but I can always pull them from my shelf & reread them. I'm also super excited for Bloodlines to come out. Vampire Academy is in the #1 spot along with the Twilight Saga of my favorite series of all time. I think it deserves more than 5 stars! LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!(less)

Then it starts describing all the characters and the relationships which I already know from reading the others in this series. The book did keep my attention as the others in this series have also. I did not want to put it down. I love all the characters and the new one fledging Stark. I wish he would have had more time in this one but looking forward to the next book. The story lines are good and overall I really enjoy reading about Zoey and all the house of night teenagers. (less)

I decided to go ahead and purchase it because it sounded like a good book. I am so happy I did. This book is amazing. I gave it 5 stars but would have gave it 10 stars if I could. The characters are great, the story is fantastic. I loved the history and what I learned about casters. The book was action filled from the first to the last page. I was sad when I finished reading it cause I didn't want it to end. I can't wait to read the sequel. I recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal with a little romance. I loved it!!!!(less)

After reading the first one Beautiful Creatures I knew this one would be good but I think it was even better than the first one if that is possible. It was sad in the beginning with everyone that Lena had lost, but then the dark romantic adventure starts. Along the way to find and save Lena I was surprised to see the people that they came across. I don't want to give anything away but wow. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading it. The ending was more than incredible. I was shocked and excited to see what happened to Ridley and Link. Did not see that one coming at all. The characters are dark, seductive and fun. This is a fantastic series and I cannot wait to read the next one!(less)

I was hooked from the first page, I just couldn't put it down. I have to say that the cover is what first drew me in and then the description. The cover is gorgeous. Oh and speaking of gorgeous, one of the main characters Ren is just that. The story is very unique, I've never read something where werewolves, the Guardians are under the watchful eye of witches & warlocks, the Keepers. The love triangle between Calla, Ren & Shay was amazing. I am Team Ren though, sorry. Shay is great & hot in his own way, I just always seem to choose the bad boys. I also really liked the other characters, the young packs. Ansel & Bryn were probably my favorite side characters. This book had it all, action, adventure, it was funny in parts and of course romance. The ending of the book with cliffhanger was so good, I was sad when I finished the last page. Now I just have to wait for the next one to come out, it can't get here fast enough for me. Nightshade is in the top 5 books I've read this year. Definitely one of my favorites of all time. This is an author to watch out for, she is amazing! (less)
