The characters and the story just draws you in from the beginning. It is quite a bit of a roller coaster ride full of emotions. It is a fun book to read but I will warn you there are sad parts that will bring tears to your eyes. I felt so drawn into the story and thought how awesome it would be to have these characters as my friends and family.
Aurora, aka, Rory is the Winter faerie princess. She lives with her parents, the King and Queen of Winterland and her siblings. She is training to become Queen one day.
Sorin is the faerie prince of Summer. He lives with his parents, the King and Queen of Summerland and his siblings. He is training to be the King one day. He is also trying to stop his parents from finding him a Summer bride to marry when he turns eighteen.
There are four seasons within the faerie realm. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Now while they trade with each other they still enforce the old laws which include staying within your own season and a major one, not having a relationship with a faerie from a different season. Then there is the Iron Fey that everyone has to deal with. They were banished long ago and try to start battles with all the seasons.
One night Sorin's best friend Keir asks him to go hang out somewhere Sorin has never been to. They end up at the Falls, where all the seasons land meets. Some of the teenage faeries from the different seasons have been meeting here for years to hang out for a few hours without anyone finding out. They think that it is wrong that they have to be separated from the other seasons. This is where Sorin and Aurora meet and fall in love. They want to change the old laws and get things changed. While the royals do decide to open their gates for each season celebration everything else seems to stay the same. So the teenagers continue to meet once a month at the falls. Will their forbidden love survive, will the iron fey succeed, what will happen next? I would love to tell you about all the different characters and all the things that happen but I don't want to give any spoilers away. I just absolutely loved reading this and I don't think I would stop gushing about it if I started.
Just when you are loving what is happening the author throws a curve ball and the story takes a different turn. There are so many twists, turns and surprises that it will keep you guessing until the very end. I will tell you though I loved Sorin and Aurora, they are just such an amazing couple. I liked their friends too, they were all just so much fun to read about. I also really enjoyed learning about the different seasons and their lands. I would love to live in Winterland and have purple and white hair. The way the author describes the scenes is just enough to make you feel like you are there without being overly descriptive. I really liked a new character, Kailani that we meet about halfway through that fits into Winterland so good. Oh and I have to say that I adored Sorin's little sister Skye, she is just so adorable, sweet and funny.
This is one of those books that you don't want to end. When you finish reading the last page it's heartbreaking because you want it to continue on so much. This is a stand alone book but there is still so much with the storyline that this could be made into a series. I am so hoping this happens. I would love to read more books with these characters. This is one of my favorite books and has one of my favorite details I love in a book, forbidden romance. The author nailed it with this one. This is a must read and I highly recommend it! First I have to say that I love the cover. This is what first drew me to this book. I love faerie stories, they always seem to bring something new.

Jensen has lived her entire life on the run with her con artist sister Lorlei. Things are going ok for Jensen until one day she meets Liam, a total hottie at school. Things turn upside down for Jensen. She discovers that she can see through glamor, her sister disappears and that's just the beginning for Jensen.
I truly liked the characters. Jensen is a strong, likeable person, Liam is a hot, mysterious faerie and I loved the twins, they are just so different from each other. This novella was well written and the story and world building was good. I could visualise what the author was describing. There was lots of action, some mystery and a little romance. I'm interested in finding out who Lorlei really is and what is next for this series.
It was a good novella that I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you love fae, you need to read this novella. This e-novella was given to me for review. This did not affect my review in any way. ...more

I thought I loved the first book Moon Spell but this one is just as good if not better. I LOVED it and could not get enough. I found myself putting off doing other things just so I could keep reading. A great mix of lykan, witches, faeries, and vampires make for an amazing sequel.
Caia and Lucien spend most of their time at the Center. Caia is training and learning more about her magik side while Lucien is hanging out with the lykan at the Center. Their relationship has it’s ups and downs. Caia is focused on finding a way to end the centuries old war between the Daylight and Midnight Covens. She is also wondering if she is making the right decisions. The romantic tension between the two gets tense at times.
Jaeden and Ryder bring a fun and humorous mix to the story. I loved their banter back and forth. I really enjoyed getting to know more about them and how their story comes together. There are many humorous and romantic moments that I will not reveal, don’t want to spoil it for anyone.
The vampire, Rueben, I found myself starting to really like him. I was trying to figure out whose side he is really on though. There is just something about him that is different and exciting. I still do not like Marita, the head of the Daylight Coven. She is made out to be the villain that she is and I just didn’t like her vicious plans.
While most of the story takes place at the Center there are plenty of scenes back with pack Errante. There are many twists and turns with some romance thrown in. There is a cliffhanger ending that will leave you guessing. If you have not started this series I highly recommend that you give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Artemis now knows that she is half wolKiss of a Star is one of my favorite sequels. It's a definite 5 star! There is so much packed into those pages.
Artemis now knows that she is half wolf and half fairy. She has two gorgeous guys vying for her attention, although she seems to just want Ares. Now she just needs to learn to fight and use her powers to protect herself and the ones she loves. Her father has turned against her and is now working with the king of the vampires. As if that isn't bad enough she has her fairy fiance's mother trying to kill her, female wolfs trying to take Ares away from her. And to top it all off Ares, her wolf mate still keeps things from her that she could use to protect herself.
I don't want to say much more and give away any plot spoilers. I love how Banks keeps the romance between Ares and Artemis going strong without giving away too much. I would like to see something more develop between Artemis and Achilles. I love Ares but I think he is just to uptight while Achilles is more laid back and I think he would be more fun. A lot of questions are answered for Artemis and for the reader but so many new ones are waiting to be answered in the next book. The ending threw me a curve ball though, didn't see that happening. Still wondering where these new characters are going to fit into the story what is going to happen next. I can't wait for this series to continue!

The way the story starts out I thought it was going in a different direction that it ended up going. The author blew me away with the story and the characters. Artemis is a strong, independent chick. She hasn't had many friends except for her best friend Brett.
I liked Brett in the beginning, he's a good friend but somewhat overprotective. His story line just kinda ends so I am wondering if he will reappear sometime later in the series. When Ares comes along, I totally forgot about Brett. I mean he is like a God, so hot and romantic. Whew I was wishing I was Artemis lots of the time. I mean she has this Godlike werewolf mate plus two more super hot werewolf twins Koda and Matt in the pack. What more could a girl want? At first she is not sure if she should feel the way she does so quickly towards Ares, she falls fast and hard for him. I would too if he came my way.
Ok yes there are really hot werewolves and I mean really hot, vampires and sidhe (fairies) but there is so much more to the story. The plot is well written, the characters are all so likeable and the ending will leave you wanting more. It has everything I love in a paranormal romance... action, romance, hot guys, kick butt heroines and a cliffhanger ending. Did I mention lots of romance and hot guys? LOL
I am reading the sequel right now and it does not disappoint, it is so good too.! I can't wait to continue with this amazing series. A truly spectacular read for any young adult paranormal romance fan! ...more

He has no memory of who he is or what has happened. He finds his way to New Orleans and makes a life for himself as an Ultimate Fighting Champion. At one of his matches he meets this woman who seems familiar to him. He takes her to a friend's bar and then they go back to her motel room. There she gives him an antidote that gives him back his memory of who he really is Gage and who she is Embry. He remembers that he is a Shadow Walker. It has a few flashbacks to what happened ten years ago and then goes back to present day. Then the action really starts when they sent out on a dangerous mission to save Embry's father.
I loved this story. I thought the characters were strong and fit well together. The chemistry between Gage and Embry was great. They make a great couple. The plot was good and flowed along really well. I loved how the author brought so many mythical beings together and they worked well with one another to make it out of their situation. I enjoyed reading about Shadow Walkers, that was a new thing for me. It was well thought out. The entire time it was a rollarcoaster ride with so much action, adventure and romance. I thought the ending was great. I am sad that it ended and hope that Kait writes more to Gage and Embry's story. I want to read more from this author!

I absolutely love this series. It just seems to get better with each book. In this fourth installment, Jace and Clary are in love and finally togetherI absolutely love this series. It just seems to get better with each book. In this fourth installment, Jace and Clary are in love and finally together. Simon is dating two girls at the same time and Luke and Joceyln are planning their wedding. Oh yeah and Alec and Mangus are traveling the world. Everything is going smoothly until Shadowhunters start turning up dead, someone is trying to make babies like Sebastian and Jace starts pulling away from Clary.
Cassie has such a way with words that takes you on a rollar coaster ride from beginning to end. I loved the new characters and the way that they brought new storylines for future books. I was a little shocked to find out who Jordan was, but I really liked him and what he brought to this book.
Jace is having nightmares that he is with Clary and that he tries to kill her. He thinks he needs to distance himself from her. At the same time Clary is trying to figure out what is wrong again with Jace. Simon is becoming a favorite of mine. His struggles with his love life, home life and just being a vampire. Now he has to deal with Camille and whether or not he should take her up on her offer. Alec and Mangus were absent for almost the first half of the book but they make their return at just the right time. Isabelle had me laughing out loud with her comment about them returnig. All the relationships were well written, I love Alec and Mangus and their arguments and make ups. Jace and Clary drove me a little crazy throughout, sometimes I wanted to yell at them, get it together already. I am hoping that there is more to come with Simon and Isabelle, they are great together.
Overall it was fantastic as always. My favorite scene was with Jace and Clary in the alley. Loved it! The ending had me on the edge of my seat and my mouth fell open on the last couple pages. What a thrilling ride this one was. More to come in this series and I can't wait! You really need to read this series if you haven't already. ...more

It was so cool to get to see what happened when Alec went to see Magnus. I like these characters together, I hope we get to see more of them in future books.
I loved reading this scene from Jace's point of view. It was one of my favorites in the book too.
What can I say about this one. Well it sure did not disappoint for being the second book. The first one was so good but I think this one was even better. This one kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. With it's non stop suspense and action I didn't want to put it down. While Clary's mom Jocelyn is still under a spell Clary is fighting demons and Valentine non stop. Her relationship with Simon has become something more and yet she still has feelings for Jace. I mean who wouldn't, I would choose Jace over Simon any day. Simon is great though and now that he is a Vampire it just makes his character stronger. I like Alec and Magnus together, I was laughing when Clary put the "No Fear" Rune on Alec and he almost told his parents about him and Mangus. My favorite part though was when they were in the Faery court and Clary had to do what the Queen said to be released. Don't want to say if someone has not read it yet. The battle on Valentine's ship was incredible and well thought out. You never knew what was coming next. I never know when Valentine is telling the truth and when he is lying. Something the Inquisitor said to Jace about his scar has me thinking. I really hope that Jace and Clary find out that they are not brother and sister. I really enjoyed reading this, the story just gets better with each book. I can't wait to read the third one and I have the fourth one pre ordered already. I finally got a chance to read this one and wished I had read it a long time ago. It was really good. I loved Jace as I have read in other reviews that most people do. I loved his cocky so sure of himself attitude. This book has it all, action, adventure, a little romance. I loved how the author brought all the mythical beings into one book. Clary is a strong character and I enjoyed her story. Alec I did not really care for, but can't like all the characters sometimes. Clary, Simon, Isabelle and Jace just make me laugh. I loved the shadowhunter world, it was somewhat unique and fun. The middle to ending of the book has a major twist. I did not see it coming and almost put the book down because I could not believe that Cassie would change the story and characters like that. I loved Jace in the beginning but towards the end I thought he became to soft and weak. I hope he is more like himself in the next book. The plot flows really well and it's just a great start to what is I hope a wonderful series....more
