I really have no excuse ever since I picked up Beautiful Disaster I have been kicking my own ass. Yeah you heard that right it was so amazing I couldn’t put it down. The story is incredibly good!
Abby portrays herself to be something shes never been a good girl. I totally picture her as a super preppy chick. With like every color cardigan in the rainbow. Shes got a small circle of friends America and her have been friends since high school. Shepley, Americas boyfriend and soon,Travis. Travis and Shep are cousins and roommates. So Travis is Eastern University’s resident badboy. Hes unbelievable attractive, intelligent and an underground fighter. Basically women are constantly throwing themselves at Travis. Abby seems to be an exception, She wants nothing to do with him she’s extremely strong willed. They do become a sort of best friends. He helps her study and she keeps his ego in check.
Abby and Travis have undeniable chemistry but shes determined to stay on the straight and narrow. She begins seeing Parker who happens to be one of Travis’ frat brothers. And Travis continues to burn his way through the female population. When the boilers are out in Abby’s dorm Abby and America crash with the guys, one detail they didnt discuss were the sleeping arrangements. Abby and Travis end up sharing his bed the one place he doesnt take his sexual conquests. Those girls get the couch. And can I just say EWWWWWW. If there was ever a time for plastic covers on the couch well this would be the time.
Not only does Abby keep Travis in check but he starts to change and see a future with her and half the time she was just to bullheaded to see it and I wanted to like slap her around more than once. Sure he had a past everyone does she just let both of their pasts dictate their lives. I seriously just fell hard for Travis and Abby well I couldn’t get behind her insanity.
I thought the story was over at a certain part and I was surprised there was a good amount of pages left. Im not sure it was really necessary but the more Travis the better right?
If your like me and waited eons to read this for whatever reason. Stop making excuses Sure its a heavy book but dude! You wont want to put it down the urge to devour is strong with this one. Dont deny yourself....more

I am the mother of a child who has Autism.. He also has other medical conditions that make it unclear just how impacted he is.. My son looks just like you and me, however when he speaks it is clear he is somewhat different.. Besides the beautiful illustrations provided by the obviously very talented Crystal Orb what i love about Ethan's story is for years Ive struggled trying to explain my son to family, friends, and acquaintances.. At home he just IS! Out there he is Autistic. Now i have a tool to help me explain. My sons Autism isn't Ethan's Autism however there definitely are shared behaviors. This book is a great tool to educate children as well as adults. To fight stereotypes and promote acceptance.. There are no words to explain the gratitude i have towards Ethan for helping to educate the masses on Autism.. ...more
