These were posters that you colored in with markers and if you were lucky, those markers lasted long enough to complete the entire poster. If you loved DoodleArt, then you will absolutely enjoy the Secret Garden Coloring book.
I purchased the French version of the Secret Garden coloring book because my local bookstore ran out of the English version and as an added bonus, I was told that the French version also had 2 posters to color. I'm not sure if the salesclerk told me that just to get me to buy the book, but it really doesn't matter what language this book is in - it is a coloring book for adults or really artistic and patient kids.
The pages are beautifully drawn and the book is a kind of treasure hunt where you look for things hidden in all of the doodles. There are even pages where you can finish the drawings yourself, so be creative.
Personally, I decided to use pencil crayons over markers because I found that pencil crayons come in many different shades of green and we had tons of them left over from when the kids were in elementary school.
The coloring is intricately detailed. The pages are whimsical and elicit thoughts of my own garden. Just the title page took me a little over an hour to color. It was a purely restful hour, one of those peaceful and relaxing moments that bring back memories of childhood.
If you are looking for a stress reliever, check out this coloring book.

Penryn deserves 5 stars, just for her badassery. Thank you Ms. Ee for writing such a strong female lead role.
Enough gushing about the series....Did End of Days deliver? Did it answer all those niggling questions that we were left with at the end of World After? Yes.
We finally learn what those rotten eggs were good for. Well played, Penryn's mom. You rock. (See I started with the little innocuous things so I don't spoil the story). I loved the banter between Raffe and Penryn. It was funny, entertaining, and you could really see how they rely upon each other. Despite all the crazy that Paige endured, she became one of my favorite characters. Leave it to Dee and Dum to produce a talent show in the midst of an apocalypse. And wow....what an epic end to a wonderful series.
Fantastic writing - eloquent and descrptive - epic battle scenes, and a wonderful sense of humor makes this series a must read. Can't wait to read more by this author in the future.

Bailey is one of Noelle's girls, a chameleon and assassin and Sean is a dealer of information. The book starts off running with Bailey infiltrating a bank robbery planned by Sean's contacts over at IRA Dagger. The action continues throughout the book as Sean is forced to work for Rabbit O'Hare. The stakes increase when some jostling for power occurs and Sean is approached by Rabbit's enemy, Flannery.
Wow. This book was action packed. I just could not put it down. Not only do we get to watch our lead couple finally fall in love, we also get a little Liam and Sullivan action as well. There are also updates the reader on the previous couples in the series.
The romance aspect was well done. Sean and Bailey have a history and Sean was a little underhanded in his pursuit of Bailey. Sean pretended to be his twin Oliver and managed to sleep with Bailey. He is torn by that action and has never admitted to Bailey what he had done. Both characters carry emotional baggage from their childhood. They have to work hard on their relationship. The sex scenes were hot.
Midnight Captive was an exciting read, perfect for summer reading. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, check out this series.
