Oh, Dragos, you sexy thing....
Dragos Goes to Washington is definitely for people who just can't get enough of Dragos and Pia. It's hot and steamy with lots of pow (you need to read the book for that one). Dragos is the Ultimate Alpha Male, especially when he is in a mating frenzy. Of course there is that pesky trip to Washington, where the Elder Races are supposed to do a little face time with the humans.
One of the nice things about this book is that we get to see Liam for a short time. I also loved Pia and Dragos together. While Dragos is a little too possessive for my tastes, I can see the appeal.
There are 3 short novellas planned for the next few months. They are Dragos Goes to Washington, Pia Does Hollywood, and Liam Takes Manhattan. I felt that this book could be read on its own just to get a taste for the author's writing style. Of course, the series is best enjoyed when read in order.

I've been quite happy with my book choices and Seduction Gamebook 7 of Pamela Clare's I-Team series did not disappoint.
I first heard about Pamela Clare way back when I joined Goodreads. Since then, I've made it a point to pick up her books as often as possible. Her romantic suspense books are well written, well researched, and oh, so sexy!
Seduction Game is the story of Holly Bradshaw and her love interest Nick Andris. We've met Holly in the earlier books and she never really stood out, aside from her good looks. But there is a lot more to Holly - and she is incredible - unless there are hairy spiders, hornets, or snakes around.
I loved the attraction between Holly and Nick. The heat meter is off the charts sexy!
As with all I-Team books, the supporting cast rallies around their own. It's nice to see the alpha males take over and protect their women.
While the books are part of the I-Team series, each book can be read as a stand-alone book however, reading the series in order will enhance your enjoyment of the series.

Good guest voices - Patrick Stewart, Kathleen Turner, Carol Burnett, and more. It's raw and honest and a little preachy. Parts of the book kept my interest and other parts were not that memorable. I think that had I read the book, I would have skimmed through some parts.
Thank you Ford Audio Book Club for a chance to listen to Amy Poehler's Yes, Please. (For those of you looking for the Ford Audio Book Club, alas, it is no more).
10/7/15 - Free audio book download from Audible. Take advantage of this - it has an all star cast including my favorite chameleon Tatiana Maslany.

5 stars for the acting and production value. This audio book had an all-star cast (Tatiana Maslany, Haley Joel Osmet, Kate Mulgrew, Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodriguez, Stephen King, and more) complete with music (pretty catchy), sound effects, and an announcer/narrator reminiscent of those old radio plays from the forties.
3.5 stars for the story which was a little hard to follow and at times, a little manic. You see, the villain in this book is very, very deranged and when he was on, he was criminally insane. If you can follow the story or are familiar with the graphic novel, I think that you will enjoy this more.
Whoa....didn't expect to finish this book in one sitting.

Beyond Shame is set in the future where the wealthy live puritanical lives in Eden. Everything is readily available in Eden as long as rules are followed. Noelle is cast out of Eden to sector 4, where she meets Jasper, a member of the O'Kane gang. She is taken under the wing of Lexie, Dallas O'Kane's girlfriend.
Noelle sets out to experiment with her sexuality under the guidance of Lexie, who teaches Noelle to not feel shame. Noelle is both shocked and aroused by this new lifestyle and this group of people who are not ashamed of their sexuality.
I enjoyed the writing style and I loved the dystopian world. I'll be looking for the next book in the series.
