There was definately some dialogue, but reasearch into the spy world seems to come across as a mixed bag. I finished reading Stephen King "On Writing" yesterday and one word of great advice was to put your manuscript in the bottom drawer for six weeks after you have completed it. Its a long enough time for you not to be afraid to kill your darlings (pet descriptions, phrases etc.-).
Keep writing I think you are not there but getting close.(less)

This time all the elements flow together nicely. The science is not too bad in dealing with light the villains are truly nasty, the reluctant hero gains insight to life as it meant to be lived. There are surprises galore, which really makes the series come alive for young people. Two thumbs up. (less)

This turns out to be a retelling of the Rhinegold myth, along with a steep dose of Wagner's opera. Lots of spoofing of Gods and demi-gods and a wonderful mix of future with bad aliens, Brunhilde myth of Norse legend. A truly mad-cap adventure that was a lot of fun.(less)

The mechanics of the book were sadly lacking, typo errors galore, wrong tense and POV. I am sure the author will improve as he continues to write. I would recommend this tale to anyone wishing to read alternative history, steampunk or fiction.(less)

The story is written so that you want to read more... and more... and more. The characters are three-dimentional, the dialogues are superb and considering Harlan Coben is a male writer, he did a fantastic job in describing his female characters. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a good thriller. Excellent book!!!!!!(less)
